Bought a 67 ltd Ed last year never tested it but noticed a rattle from the box 1 year later have a test track so let’s give it a try Hmmm motor runs but that’s it So watching this helped no end to get the body off and what to expect inside Motor came loose and cardan shafts came out Now up and running so just to say thanks for this Cheers from 🇩🇪

they seems to have the same shape of dapol ncat1...do you think they are suitable for TGVs? and what about kato rounded poles for tgvs ? much difference in n scale ? thanks from a novice to n scale...italy

Great video mate. My Aunt and uncle owned the farm just north of the WCML bridge. The farmhouse was situated between the WCML and the Northampton Loop line. Many great memories as a kid watching the trains in the early to mid 80s. The 87s dominated the tracks then. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻

I have the exact same model. Had to be replaced by Dapol due to drive shaft failure. The second replacement then has the same fault 🫣 was repaired and now runs well. A great looking model mine has been weathered by Grimy Times and looks amazing

Great video. I have just converted my Cross Country Class 221 to DCC after watching your guide. Incidentally you don't need to purchase a kit to convert the lights to LED. I found some 3mm white LED's that you can just replace the bulbs with. Fitted a function decoder into each end as per your video.

I've found these can sorts out derailing wheelsets and also got a Black 5 with poor traction to be fixed and going again. Just a simple fix but it can make a model happy.

Finally got the model for my collection. Will be changing over the Ringfield motor ASAP.

Class 150/2 honestly last was with ScotRail on Friday 4th March 2005. With ScotRail most went to Great Western Railway and the rest went to Arriva Trains Wales now called Transport For Wales.

I bought the bachmann 32-983sf - the sound version - extremely pleased and with a rake of dapol MJA minerals it looks really impressive -

I used to work these units when I was a TM at Notts and Derby😄I like the coach labels A & B as these could never be right on our sets due to uncoupling etc. And the stinky toilets ughh they stunk of pee as a retainer tank used to get full. Many happy memories of these like 06.52 ex Notts to STP double tripper,oooh long day. Mml was the best to work for. Emt and emr shite!!! Finally sorted the bogies out using a Dapol catenary mast plastic washer on each bogie so yeah well happy

Does your dapol megafrets derail a lot? Mine do I’m full of regrets! luckily i only shelled out £47 in total.....I’m sticking to bachmann version from now on
