David Soul's death reported on RTÉ News (5th January 2024)

RTÉ News reports on the death of legendary American-born actor and singer David Soul, best known for his role as Detective Kenneth Hutchinson in the hit television series "Starsky and Hutch", and also for his briefly successful singing career, with international hits such as "Don't Give Up on Us" and "Silver Lady". A longtime resident of the UK, Soul died in London on 4th January 2024 at the age of 80 following a long period of illness.
