- For those who weren't able to make it out to see 40 Years! The History of Worlds of Fun, here is a virtual walk through Tour. We participated in worldsoffun.ORG's history display and brought working models of the first five roller coasters built at the park to go along with many cool and unique artifacts and memorabilia that are a part of worldsoffun.ORG's extensive collection. Enjoy!

Worlds of Fun was at it's best in the 70's! It will never have the same kind of charm that it once had...
Thank you so much! please never EVER take this video down. i wish they brought this back :(
Wish I would've known about this in time.
awesome. i'm not gonna lie... i jumped when i saw the you had the viking dragon head and orient express head. keep up the good work and have a wonderful day.....(holds thumb up) Clear lol
When I worked in Scandinavia I wore this green colored dress with bloomers. That was in the 80's. Does anyone have any of the yearbooks they use to make?
You didn't see this video I posted on July 23rd (two and a half weeks before the event)? It was also posted to our Facebook page as well on that day with a link to the video and details. The announcement video is linked in this videos description.
I know, it's not the same, but it's the best I could do. And in fact I have two cats...but I keep them far away from the models. : )
The ONLY items I had on display were the working models. The Viking Head from Voyager belongs to my friends over at worlds of fun dot org, who are the primary party responsible for this display, as well as 99 percent of the artifacts you see in the video. The O.E. Dragon head belongs to the current GM of the park.
It's just not the same :( Those models would look so much more awesome (more than 20% in fact) up close and personal. I'm guessing you don't have a cat that you let watch your model roller coasters in action?
