We love our local hyper coaster! Would love to see it get some fresh paint near the helix!
I remember being so scared of this ride as a younger kid. I finally went on it when I was 16. It’s a pretty good coaster!
Yeah I wasn’t scared and I went on it and now I don’t want to ride it again
@@Dogofilms1I went to world's of fun last year multiple times bc of season passes and this is my fav ride
Second time I rode it when I was 13 I got stuck at the top of the first hill. Stuck for 45 minutes, and a storm started rolling in during that 45 minutes. It started raining on us then a guy came up and said they got the ride working we’re going to start moving. The rides pretty painful when rains pelting your face. My parents bought the picture for me cause it was comedic asf
@@Snowflurry1 Those rides are definitely hard to compare. If you can tolerate the speed of the patriot, then you’ll be able to do the mamba! The biggest “scare” with the mamba is the height.
Honestly this video doesn't give it enough credit on how fast it actually feels in person
Blud it ain’t a person, it is literally the company world of fun that made the themepark
@@HollywoodWR I'm talking about how fast the ride feels in person? 😐 tf typa shit you on😐
@@FootballHighlightsProdz it’s ok, we won’t talk about the fact that ur 2 months late to this conversation😂😂😂💀💀💀🫵🏾🫵🏾🫵🏾🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
That mid course brake really kills any potential airtime the second half could have had.
I disagree, my thighs had red marks on them after the ride lol! There is airtime in the second half
@@hummus7628 there is barely any coasters that could injure you if you disable the MCBR. Look at Magnum for example, that thing crushes your legs.
@@Lime_GT. airtime on a roller coaster is the sensation that you get when you pop up from your seat and either feel weightless or ejected (that’s what the lap bar is for, to keep you from falling out when you experience airtime)
Best ride in all of Worlds of Fun I rode this killer when I was 6 and I loved it!!!!
I can’t wait until the park opens up again.
I miss it so much.
Black Hole they were supposed to have a new thing open on the oceans of fun side but sadly oceans most likely won’t be opening
@@emotionalize a year later but yes they opened that new mat racer slide....it's extremely average.
FUN FACT! The company that built the Mamba is the SAME COMPANY that built the Santa Monica West Coaster at the Santa Monica Pier in LA! The West Coaster was built in 1996, the Mamba was built only two years later in 1998.
Fun to ride but even more fun to work, I’d love to work at Mamba next season. It’s a great ride to operate. The 2 times I worked at Mamba last season helped me so much in getting the hang of being a ride op.
My first hyper coaster was on the mamba, even though alot of people think it's another one of those Morgan coasters but this coaster will always have a special place in my heart!
It was so cool seeing this coaster on the last of us, all abandoned and left to rot, it’s crazy to think about if it were to happen in real life
Another year another comment. I love being part of Mamba crew 2021. What a great ride to work at.
oh finally, I've been waiting for this POV for a while
Koaster Kids, Theme Park Crazy, and New Jersey Coasters all much prefer Mamba to Steel Force. I’m proud to make this underrated Morgan Hyper my most ridden coaster of 2019 so far with roughly 115 rides this season so far.
Awesome coaster! We will be visiting from Salem, Oregon soon!!
Me: Goes to the front row during the ride
Also me: “Backrooms, here we come!”
You either want the very front or the very back. Backrooms sound like a great adventure, as well!
I love this classic Morgan hyper coaster! 💕
Why on earth do those trims hit so hard? Literally turns what could have been an 9/10 ride into a 4/10
They’ve basically removed the brakes now. Most say it feels like a brand new ride in the second half.
Used to go to this park when we’d visit my brother stationed at Whiteman AFB. 2002 was the last I was there. Fun coaster for sure.
My all time favorite. First big coaster I ever went on, front seat with my dad.
I love this ride
When I first rode this, I wasn't too sure on it but now I can't wait to get in line, in fact I make a fast-walking beeline towards it, can't wait to go back for the 2023 season.
my brother made a very ballsey move. was off the ride near the coca cola tables eating a hamburger keep in mind my sister has never been on this ride before but said she would try it I sat next to her and we went on it by the mid-course break run you could tell she wasn't enjoying the beast that is the mamba then at 2:24 he made laugh by holding up a fake stuffed green snake he won earlier at the socker game near cyclone sams
Dude, THIS RIDE MAKES MEMORIES 🐍🐍🐍🐍
I want to go ride Cyclone Sam's so bad! Last time i was there, when we were in line, a wasp was there, and we were all freaked out. Noone got stung, and we all enjoyed the ride.
I remember going on that thing for the first time as a 7 year old
I've been on this rollercoaster before and I think it's the best one of all.
i actually rode this one, it may not look that bad in the video but in person it's AMAZING. in that first drop i was actually lifting in my seat, it was horrifying and fun at the same time! would definitely recommend to anyone who's afraid of roller coasters, because after this one, you'll never be afraid of any others!
Why does the mid course brake grab so hard? It seems like an unfortunate waste of potential the way this thing crawls over the last hill.
only thing I could think of is to keep it family. they do this all the time down here in Florida.
I went on that two days ago twice in a row. Safe to say that was the biggest thrill I had my entire time there
I'm going this September and I'm 100% going on this ride
I love the mamba
I am on my way to worlds of fun right now
Insanely underrated hyper coaster
You should post a new POV of how its running in 2023 because it about 300x faster! :)
from the thumbnail it looked like part of the coaster was underwater
*thump*
*thump*
HISSSSSSSSSSS!!!
went on a field trip there the first year it was open. Cant believe that was over 25 years ago!
rode this today and the midcourses were off. I dont know if it was a one off or not but man in the back that was some crazy ejector.
first drop is nuts but i love it
Favorite roller coaster of all time!
You obviously haven't been on many roller coasters if this one is your favorite
@@0h0h0moneyI actually have been on alot from many different parks. How about you mind your own business.
it's pretty funny watching this slowly meander over those bunny hills in this video, especially with how it's running at its full potential in 2023
The back on this ride is the best
The front of train always pulls the back over that first drop and it just feels more thrilling that way, definitely love back seat rides!
love me some trims
Just road this 2 days ago! My first time was when I was a kid after it was first built, I feel I enjoyed it more this time as I'm older. Speed so fast my eyes were watering. Also, such a beautiful view high up, the camera isn't looking around, so you only see that view here 1:00. There's this scary part here 1:40 where the metal beams are coming down further and further. I noticed everyone (even me) put their arms down before going under that last one, it's so freaky close to your head. But overall, the fastest coaster in the park, you can't leave without braving the scary Mamba!
This one is just like its sister roller coaster, the Wild Thing at Valleyfair. This one is so intense that people will lose their glasses or shades unless they store them in the loose item bins along with all other loose/prohibited items when going on these rides.
I think the trim less brakes are staying. Mamba is my favorite Cedar Fair Morgan hyper and probably will stay that way
This ride was so fun but also scary
Looks like Worlds of Fun are really proud of their trim brakes.
Ah yes, the ride that made my Dad lose his Colorado Rockies hat (a good thing, go D-Backs), and flattened my Oreo Cakesters
This is a fun park and all but....man....they are way overdue for a new roller coaster. Their last one was in 2006 which is Patriot!
Several long drops but not real steep. No crazy inversions. And it's got speed. Looks like just a fun ride.
As much as I love the Mamba, the Patriot is still my all time favorite, well, outside of the Boomerang or the Timber Wolf and The Prowler and all of that.
Next time I’m going to worlds of fun I’m forcing myself to go on the mamba
The second half would feel more like Magnum if the trims didn’t kill all momentum during the second half
Whoever disliked this has clearly doesnt know what the meaning of fun is
I was like six years old the first time i rode this, and this was my first coaster too 😭
cant wait to come back july7th😄
this is where i passed out and almost had a seizure 💗
im going with my family here from iowa
This is a old school coaster but has some good airtime
As a newly hired ride operator I get to go to WOF for free, and I want to use this as an opportunity to conquer my fear of rides. I’m absolutely terrified to ride this thing
Its not as bad as it seems! That first big drop is the scariest part of the entire thing.
I've rode ever single roller coaster 🎢 at worlds of fun.....
Except this one lol 😂
🐔 🐣 🐥 🐓
A year later: mamba is boring, Timberwolf is underwhelming, boomerang is uncomfortable, patriot is ok, detonator is fun and prowler is incredibly fun. Im a full on enthusiast now.
@@ITzDo mamba isn’t even bad, just do it once and your good first drop isn’t as bad as it seems
OMG I got over my fear of this today and now this coaster is so fun but it really makes your eyes water or your throat dry lol.
Bro when i rode this i was crying becuse it was so good
I was scared to death of this ride but I love it to this today good job worlds of fun🎢😟😊
I might ride the mamba I do not know yet I d9nt wanna die
Pause at 0:06, and you could just as easily be on PA Dorney Park's 'Steel Force' - now an amazing 25 years old!
I have been on Mamba, Steel Force and Wild Thing. Steel Force is my least favorite and Mamba is REALLY similar but I think Mamba is a lot better. But for some odd reason I liked Wild Thing the best, Wild Thing's first airtime hill has more airtime than both Steel Force and Mamba's first hill.
I definitely want the Orient Express Back! That was definitely me and my Dad's favorite and I mean favorite..I'm almost 47 yrs old and when I was 3 cause back then there was no height limit like now. Dad and I rode that four times in a row. My parents told me. And that was always the first ride I would get on all the way up till they took it down. It hasn't been the same since and I haven't gone to WOF since the year after it was taken down and right now I feel that for the price that they want now to just get in for a day is outrageous I think. Not many adult roller coasters. I know u can't forget about the kiddos..but..I'm sorry they have had more rides put up for them instead of adults ones. Cause the roller coasters I see now like here on Ytube..we have nothing like that here at WOF..so it's so in need of a upgrade for the price they r wanting. Just my opinion. Don't mean anything . But use to go every year for 20 something yrs down to it at all and it's sad. But I keep hoping one day that they will have one of those awesome rides that I see on the Ytube channels.
Kingda Ka maybe. I've ridden the Mamba at WOF when I lived in KC. Check Kingda Ka though out cuz it looks cool af.
I went on this roller coaster last weekend ago and it was kinda scary and good
when the first hill came down I was screaming my ass off
i am going to worlds of fun in june
If it wasnt for those trims this ride would have been insane at the end. Not as good as magnum but still insane.
I rode Steel Force at Dorney and thought it needed WAY more banking, lateral forces kill any potentially cool turns for me
If you have not been on this in person it’s way scarier it felt like I was going to fall out and and feels like it was jumping Sometimes
It is so much more fast in person I went to day first of all I was defying gravity and the first drop was like straight down
I rode it and I loved it but I was super nervous going onto it I honestly thought just was going to die lol.
I hated this ride SO MUCH- I was literally SCREAMING (and crying) when I went on it 😭😭😭
Where are all the screams?
i have been on that
For more G-Force sit in the middle row to back row you’ll experience a lot more G-force and whiplash
Honestly, when I went on the mamba, with my sister, uncle, older brother, and my father. I sat in the middle of the front with my whole family, I was next to my dad, my sister and uncle were in the front, and my brother was in the back. And when we were going down a bit slowly at first, I was like “okayyy this isn’t as bad as I thought..” but when we got dropped, I screamed Louder than I’ve ever screamed before💀 and as the bumps I was like “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! PLEASE!” Because of how scared I was afterward. And my sister, she got splashed in the face by water when we were going down the first ramp💀anyway, I laughed at her about it☺️ I’m so kind to my older sister☺️
I went on the Mamba yesterday and my friend kept telling me to lookdown and i was like heck nahhhhh but anyways great coaster
Nothing at Worlds of Fun will ever equal the Zambezi Zinger. Too bad it's gone.
Huh, I could have sworn that it entered a tunnel right after the drop. And that there was a green B&M next to the turnaround.
Bro I was on this roller coaster and like we were almost at the drop, it was terrifying because it probably almost malfunctioned or it did due to it well being stopped obliviously but I swear it was the scariest and I was like 7 when it happened but it actually started working it was actually pretty fun
Front seat sucks. For anyone wanting the line to be worth waiting for, seat towards the back. NOT THE VERY BACK because that line's even longer. Just know that the further back you're sitting, the more spit comes back at your face. Fun ride when you're new to it.
the video doesn’t really do the first drop justice it’s INSANE
This looks so scary
I don’t now they did not screem
Worlds of Fun please have a Giga coaster
Mamba hauls ass on the air time hills now that it has been running trimless.
Every time the thing goes up and then down it feels like I’m doing a jump
*boom*
*boom*
*_hiss_*
Where will I feel the least weightlessness on this ride?
Ive seen enough and been on a ride on the back, pretty sure you feel more jolt and weightless in the back so I would recommend the middle.
I actually liked Wild Thing better. I know that’s probably an unpopular opinion but wild things first airtime hill has some of the best floater airtime I’ve experienced
i went on this, it was scary bro
I rode the mamba for the first time today
when i was 8 years old i went to worlds of fun and road the big mamba whith my mom and my but was flying and i was crying
Wait where are all the casual children screaming at the top of there lungs
I went to world denotations of fun like three days ago, and the mamba is way louder and faster
The Mamba has been my most favorite roller coaster of all because of its height, length, and speed. I really miss riding it now because I'm not able to ride roller coasters anymore because of the implants I have due to my seizures. But I still say that there's no other roller coaster better than The Mamba.
Shivering Timbers, steel vengeance, and millennium force are all way better. Plus, mamba isn’t that tall, and has no forces
I love Mamba. I think it's a Morgan hyper. Kingda Ka is a lot taller & faster. I've never ridden it but it sure looks dope.
@@Donuts_Donuts_Donuts yes it has 3.5 geez of force
