Thanks for making this video, I never thought of doing this myself before.

Seafoam had always caused more problems than helped. On every LT/LS I've ever touched I've always simply recommended techron or similar top end cleaner and had much better results without worry, and on these SS's in particular I've gotten quite a few Bad TB gasket/Orings and needed to thoroughly clean TB and (usually) the aftermarket intakes make things worse

Oil on the clean side (ccv) no Buena. I run boost on a stock lt1 and that side is clean side is spotless

I've read to avoid using Seafoam on all GDI engines. Especially the 2.0T camaro. There are threads on camaro6 forum.

I was wondering if that black thing on that straw was gonna stay put. Glad your car did not gobble it up when it fell off.

Right, yea might want to be careful with that, or just not use it. Was a close call.

It is out of control on those direct injection engines.

I wonder if it will clog the cats up.

It should all burn off, by the time it gets back there. Not doing this, will clog up your cats, eventually. Highly recommend using Royal Purple as well. Yea, it’s pricey but it is a true synthetic and won’t leave deposits, that cause heavier carbon build up.
