Both George Carlin, Alec Baldwin and Michael Brandon gave Oliver a Western with an Western accent in the US version in the Classic Series in the Full and the Wide Screens.
I always see fans criticizing Brandon's Oliver voice, such as: "Why did Brandon give Oliver a Southern accent? He's supposed to be Great Western.", but I never see anyone criticize Carlin's accent, even though Oliver is supposed to be Great Western. How convenient.
I'd really say that Alec Baldwin did the best voice for Oliver.
Alec Baldwin’s Oliver voice sounds like a Harry Potter character (and yes it’s probably because of the British accent)
0:29 “Ehhh, Quite so Mr. Oliver. May I suggest that you speak to Sir Topham Hatt about your problems.”
I agree with you, Spectrum

For some reason I sound like George Carlin whenever I whisper. I don't know why, but I like it now.🙂
Yeah... Alec Baldwin and Joe Mills did it better.
Joe Mills does the best Oliver voice IMO.
Joe Mills? Is he one of the voices from the CGI era? Because I only know of the s1-11 narrators.
@@meta527II Yep. Though he was only featured in S18-20.
