I agree. Although I don’t like the shape of Duncan’s nose in season 9-12. Other than that. I really like them. And I dare to say that they are better than the small scale models.
They're more accurate for the gauge of track, with standard gauge being 64mm (Gauge 3) track. The smaller scale models run on the scale equivalent of 3ft 2" track, because Gauge 1 scale is around 10mm
in my opinion i dont like the large scale modles because they look to un-classic and they just look too big. Maybe i would warm up to them if they had stuff the small scale models had like skarloeys funnel with a brass golden ring
Over hated for bad reasons, By bad reasons I mean the only reason I ever hear is basically “the new one is ehhh” when they don’t actually examine any of those faces
This is my opinion some dont hate me or start a arguement. I like both large scale and small scale, the only thing I disagree is rusty face, sir handel model being to fat and rheneas face being to fat. But everything else I agreed.

I Actually love the pack scale Thomas and Percy and even the season 6 pack scale Thomas
I love the large-scale models of the Skarloey Railway engines of the Thomas series too.
I agree on the Sir Handel part. It doesn’t give that feel of life. Maybe it’s those big eyes.

I like the large scale models more in series 5, but their really the same in my opinion, just the small scale model are more iconic
