Something else a bit different - ``Trains in the Rain`` Compilation. some clips it is Hammering down more than in other clips...Enjoy. (i didnt , i got wet LoL)
I'm not a train enthusiast. I don't know much about them at all but I love the rain and I love the emotion and atmosphere of trains, railway lines and stations. It's now scorching hot here in northern England and I'm watching these videos dreaming about weather like this.
Thanks for standing in the precipitation, with only a few rain drops on the lens. Super Video and well thought through. Cheers -. Tornado and the Octopus a classic
theres something very atmospheric about trains and rains.......greta to see the old class 86 in its final years still working hard. 20:42 now THATS a rare sight - 2 HST power cars without a train....
Kevo, the things you do for our entertainment, you must spend hours studying the weather forcast to see where it is raining hardest, brilliant mate thanks
Thank you so very much for this wonderful video compilation...I haven't got long for this World...and to watch and listen to this is pure joy...Thanks to all the contributors for this special treat...absolutely brilliant 👏
Much as I like 68’s and 88’s I still think 47’s are more aesthetically pleasing , they just don’t show their age . This is a great compilation of wet running , this is the U.K. after all , excellent video . Peter Pan’s windscreen wiper action leaves a bit to be desired but then 66’s aren’t brilliant .
Thanks for the entertainment, a great effort, in quite normal British weather! For me now, I'm glad I grew up with the railway from 1975. I remember well, Steam Enthusiasts could not understand the attraction of a Western or Deltic, which I did, and appreciate steam. Good to see modern traction developing. More powerful & efficient, but just not for me. A garden shed crossed with an egg box, all of them. Onwards and upwards as they say.
@@davern6 I felt exactly the same - even if he'd just eased up on the throttle for a few seconds. Looks more like he'd every intention of ruining peoples' views. What a tool.
I love the sound of the rain in some of the clips. Haha, the race out of BTM with 60163 and the HOBC was nice. Unlucky for you though! Great vid as usual Kev.
You've got staying power Kev - happy to watch your films in the dry! You could've spent virtually the whole of October filming trains in the rain this year :)
Would patron for a couple of hours waiting for a train, in the dark in the rain where you can hear the rain hitting the ground or leaves. There’s not much which I’d like more to fall asleep to every night for the rest of my life! Might just have to do it for myself, I’d eventually earn out of it as well 😄⛈☔️
Hi it’s East Midland train spotter I like your videos do you ever come to Market Harborough train station that is My local station for me I do go to Leicester station sometimes
@@swearingkevo You really catch incredible stuff, like the maintenance train along a steam train. I was also impressed by the super short HST at 20.00....
IN THE UK THE RAIN // THAT IN THE MAIN // FALLS ON THE PLAIN // WO'N T EXIT FOR ANY TRAIN // SO DO NOT BOTHER T0 COMPLAIN // AS LIKEWISE IN SPAIN !!!!!,

It's great to see railway wagons and equipment that are not covered in graffiti as are most Australian wagons and at times engines.

I’m starting to become a train enthusiast
A good selection Kev. i liked the double headed 37s with another 37 on the rear . Very damp .

Great video. Nice catch with the lightning strike at 7 : 23. Cheers!
6.05 to 7.25 just awesome with that lightning
You must have got soaked making this video, cheers. Lightning across the sky. what a catch, well done.
Hardcore !! Didnt realise there were so many trains in WALES 😂
Thanks for suffering all that miserable weather.
😀👍🐢
Miserable? It's utterly beautiful.
Britain is famous for two things: trains and rain
3:40 How pissed off were those photographers! 🤣🤣
Nice wipers
Lightning!!! 🖤🖤🖤
Hilarious at 3:06 onwards ....... how the enthusiasts must have cursed that maintenance train but what great footage ....... ha ha
Colin Dunn - and it happened to be one of the longest in the uk 🤣
Driver required a huge middle finger, could have held on 30 secs

@@TomCro73 Not really, he has a job to do.

WOW......thank you.....👍
DID YOU FORGET YOUR JAMES HANWAY < HE INTRODUCED THEM TO THE UK CIRCA 1750 > UNBRELLA ! ! ??.
Now this is british train spotting video
Well done, I like the "Blood & Custard" rolling stock at 29:55.
Once an engine attached to a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain.
These engines enjoy droplets of rain😊
The train in the rain cast
The 86s in the dusk (or dawn) at Acton Bridge and the 6:05 - 7:55 shot are brilliant.
AndreiTupolev - thx. The 86s were in the early hrs

East Midland Trains spotter - never been there mate
Nice one,thanks
And now, much more difficult in Britain: trains in the sun.....
Tanu Ccio - that’s funny. I may try and do one like that but may take me ages 🤣😂🤣

Don't knock rain, the more the merrier, drought is hideous.
