“They gave up on me!” Shit was one of the most heartbreaking videos in sports I’ve ever seen.
They did give up on him….
They had to give up on him. It was millions and millions of dollars on the line for the Celtics. If you owned the team, you would know the decision was easy.
After he dropped 81
@@iTzMcSnow if Isiah was put in right conditions, in an organisation that had faith in him, he would've end up in the top 20 PG to ever touch an orange ball. Even top 10. But his body and the NBA gave up on him. It hurts to see how all odds were against potentially a first ballot hall of famer
His story and DRose's are the reason i dont support teams no more! It's sad but at the end of the day a team gotta do what the think can get them a chip! It's business.
I'd have to say the Sister Game was the saddest then They Gave Up On Me, especially since that was one of his last best games before the debilitating injury unfortunately sapped him.
As a Celtics fan, I feel such shame for how they treated this man
Wait till you hear abt bill Russell
dude, me too. IT is NOT my favorite kind of player. a small guard who can't defend....not for me. but by the end he had completely won me over. I was ride or die with IT. I had never seen anything like him. the celtics truly did him dirty.
He got injured and could no longer perform like he did before. What were they supposed to do?
@@DrTensleyfacts 💯
am bummed that we lost Isaiah like that
That “SISTER GAME” was a HEARTBREAKING 💔 MASTERPIECE 👏🏾. R.I.P Chyna
Isaiah was a problem being 5”9 and average almost 30 points per game is Mind blowing
I feel people forget how good he was. One of the best at that time
They also built the team around him, it was made to limit his disadvantages.
@@MangoTroubles-007why u hating bro
thats the point of building around someone??@@MangoTroubles-007
i do it at recess everyday wdym ?
Not only betrayal they stabbed his back and heart
Facts
🤓
it's the circle of life it isn't right but that's just the way it is
So a grown man who decided to play through a bad injury made his own choice of playing through it HE WAS NOT FORCED and he was back stabbed and betrayed can someone explain the betrayed part
@@Love2Musgrave yeah and karma hit the organization when Kyrie decided to leave them.
as someone who had to go through hip surgery recently, watching him play through his injury made me wince badly. i couldn't even move my legs at all during recovery, as every inch of movement cause great deal of pain. i cant even began to imagine the suffering this man had to go through & STILL managed to score 30 ppg in the playoff. celtics sacrificed this man's health & future, then discarded him. what a shame
He has nothing to be ashamed of. Isaiah proved he belonged and could play with the best. He achieved greatness.
As a Celtics fans we are paying for are sins for the disgrace we put Isiah Thomas through
I was very upset too. But not getting an opinion of the 2nd personal doctor was a mistake. If they traded Paul pierce you should know better. I been Celtics fan for very long time and this made me upset but he should have known better to care about himself instead there's no loyalty in business
As a Lakers fan, during those days I was specifically watching Celtics games because of Isaiah Thomas.
It isn't the teams responsibility for a player not getting medical attention. He did it to himself.
@@strongereveryday2302They lied about his injury…
The Kyrie effect.
he was a one of a kind player, he was the common, ruined talent in which injuries ruined his career
This man maximized the tool he was given and shined at the highest level. Yeah he's not 6"3 or have a exceptional wingspan but dude has heart and the will to win. He's a giant in my eyes
You know for his height, he actually has a pretty good wingspan. 6’2 while standing at 5’8 (w/out shoes) is pretty impressive.
shone
Great editing and story telling!! Felt like I was watching a movie and glued to the screen every second! Keep up the great work NS!!
Appreciate the love, thanks!
@@nonstopfr , pls do more of these type of vdeos
Yes although it felt a bit weird to add a car crash sound effect when it came time to talk about that part. Like if his sister was murdered, would it be that appropriate to add like a scream sound?
@@darthconquerusare you serious
@@darthconquerus u can't be serious. can't u?
Dude was so fun to watch at his peak. Was a complete shame what happened to him.
And people wonder why players aren't loyal, its just business.
This deserves more upvotes

🎯🎯🎯...always has and will be just business.
That man made me a celtics fan, miss him so much, hope he doing alright now
He was special. That’s all that needs to be said.
Not really
Bredzisz, FlightClub
@@KCFlightClub10yes really
This is why nba fans need to stop using loyalty against players. The organization will never be loyal to you.
i mean you do not even need to go that back just watch what celtics did to smart
Fucking PREACH IT.
I've been an IT fan since his Kings tenure and it was sad to see how the Celtics ruined his career while sustaining a hip injury.
This player dropped 53 pts in his prime after her sister died, and still, that wasn't enough for the Cs to treat him like an expendable commodity once they were done with him.
What were the supposed to treat him as? All athletes are an expendable commodity, unfortunately
This dude sucked he was a defensive liability the point guard is the floor general the quarterback he's supposed to get 10 to 15 a game not score 30 plus points that is not a point guard I'm glad he's gone he's trash
It was business they did it to gain assets and he was a liability not like he would've took us to the finals or win a championship.
@@blacklyfe5543 he's a non defensive playin bum
@dr.greenbodythehealer6253 he is not a bum stop hating on a man who is living better than you you're the one who's a bum and I appreciate him for what he's done for my team.
Isaiah was unstoppable. No matter who they put on him, Isaiah would just stand out there and laugh and then do his thing. Legend. Wish he could still play.
So won't he be able to come back in a couple of seasons and play in his prime or close too it?
Watching this man CHOOSE to power through the death of his sister to play a game and be there for his teammates and the organization, I know it means nothing to him but the man has my respect forever for that
The Celtics have a serious problem with keeping players healthy. Just look at Larry Bird and his injury history smh
He hurt his back by doing his mom's driveway dumbass 😂
LOL, are you effing serious??? Larry Bird blew his back out repaving his mother's driveway in the offseason. All completely well known. ffs
IT’s 50 PT masterpiece was a special time for NBA playoff basketball.
When he said “ back up the Brinks truck”, I knew it was gonna go bad.
He just signed a 10 day contract with the suns
Dude was a beast. Injuries can suck! I'm inspired by his resilience and his hard work. Just sad he's not in the NBA rn
They did him wrong, family suppose to take care of each other😢
Isaiah Thomas is an underrated NBA player.
I was really impressed when Thomas scored a career-high 53 points in the Celtics vs. Wizards game on May 2, 2017.
In his prime, Thomas was an excellent NBA player who was even selected as an MVP candidate.
Thomas is the Muggsy Bogues of the 2010s.
This video gives Isaiah Thomas substantial evidence and grounds for a lawsuit against the Boston Celtics. 😂
people really forget the nba is a business just like any other restaurant or shop you see down the street
They forgot that all teams done shady things to players not just the Celtics
Thomas should think the same way and sue the Celtics.
@@MrRicardVanNordstram Nothing in the NBA is illegal about trading a player
I'm not even a Celtics fan and this story pissed me off. Hope those Celtics doctors get some bad karma coming to them.
Probably lost their license. If I was Isiah I would sue for malpractice.
@@blowc1612exactly hope so too
This guy deserved to been in a better place, I mean being a short player myself for the small game of it, I always looked up to spud webb and (especially) mugsy bogues, when I saw Isiaiah I was like "hell yeah" especially after getting out the military.
As a Celtics fan i idolize him. Im just Glad he played MVP level game at Boston. I wish he'd won that mvp though
That video where he's crying ang said "They have up on me" After he scores 80 points was heart breaking man. He never gave up but the nba gave up on him 😢
Kyrie was the main reason why IT was traded to begin with.
They knew they fd him up and ran him down through injuries on purpose they said aight now we can get rid of him
@@robertoguzman7619he should’ve been traded for Kyrie regardless.
@@nahlive what did Kyrie do for the Celtics. Nothing. 2 seasons and then dipped to the Nets. Not really worth it imo
Anybody that wouldn’t trade for Kyrie doesn’t know ball. Plus IT signature move was a travel and the league was getting wise to it
@@ryablons8969 i guess I don't know basketball then. Kyrie is not him.
He needs to sue the doctors they ruined him
Can’t really do that unless his lawyers can prove there was a malicious intent or malpractice. You can’t guess how a person may heal
@@bandito241 misdiagnosing something doesn't count as malpractice?
@@bandito241 I think he has a case for malpractice. He should sue, not only the doctors but the Celtics as well.
@@willn8664 Who says he was misdiagnosed? A CZcams video? Not sure that will hold up in court fella. He can't sue because they didn't do anything wrong at the time. It's just truly unfortunate.
I love your videos Nonstop. Keep going 👍
This guy was phenomenal for my Washington Huskies, I was pleasantly surprised to see him ball in the NBA too despite the size!
Love these type of vids from nonstop man🙏🏽
His hip injury was the end of his career being a threat on the court
Keep up the work G
This guy had to go through lots of highs and lows, difficulties and stressful moments. The fact that he's just 5'9 and can play like an all‐star caliber player proves anything is possible, it's all about the mindset.
I remember when I first heard of IT being traded to the Cavs. My firsth thought was pretty much, that he gave all he could, played ball when his sister died and they got rid of him as soon as he got injured ..
I understand much better now why he had difficulty to found his way back into the league.
I was hoping he found a spot at NOLA. I felt bad for him at the time when they didn't kept him.
Now I feel bad for him forever.
Thanks for the video. Great job.
Nola sucks
the best IT what if vid ever! Thank u! it feels like u left no stone unturned
Great editing and story telling 👏🏻 👏🏻
Isaiah could have make history as *_the greatest last pick_* if not for that injury
PS. he is right now in status but he's not being labeled as "The Greatest 60th Pick" because he's career was not successful. If that injury didn't exist and he repeated that season for 2-3 more times, even without a ring or MVP, he will be called _"The Greatest Last Pick Isaiah Thomas"._ Like how Manu and Jamal were synonym to 6th Man
I think he is already the greatest last pick I don’t think there any all stars at the 60 pick besides him
He sitll is😊
Who’s better than him right now? Nobody that I can think of.
Think he is
You edited the comment without answering anyone’s question… why is he not already the greatest last pick?
Him and Smart. It's not a shame, we made also good trades, but Smart didn't deserve to be traded.
yes you are right but at the end of the day its a business and trades happen. i wish it wasn't smart.
@@user-sw4ic8qm7q bad trades and decisions. Would have expected Danny Ainge to handle the IT situation a little better.

Amazing docu series had me captivated
Such amazing storytelling. Thank you for this!
My favorite player forever… the pain I feel everytime I see him without a team it hurt so much man
It hurt even more that he lost his sister too….he was a very good player and when he teamed with lebron I knew it was only a matter of time
Always good to see one of us lil guys getting in there. God bless and God speed. 🙏
What a MAN! Mighty. Hope you’re doing very well now!!!!
It’s just like when Knicks moved on from Jeremy Lin too soon.
The Knicks had a reason but I never understood why the Kings moved him? Made no sense at any period
Or the Sixers with Markelle Fultz.
Didn't Lin request the trade?
Or the Grizzlies with Dillon Brooks
I remember him! I love this kid as an athlete. He was amazing! Omg! I wondered what happened to him.

The words of the vision of Isaiah, wherewith he was blessed, elect and righteous, living in the day of Tribulation; renouncing and denouncing all the wicked and godless, which are shortly to be removed at the great harvest, when good and evil are of age, ripened and ready to be reaped. Isaiah, a chosen and elect witness, who with God, answered and gave his account, while his eyes were opened, seeing in the spirit a holy vision. This the Lord of hosts showed me. From him I saw all things and later understood what I heard revealed; that which will not take place for a generation which is to succeed at a distant period, but yea for this final one on account of true Israel, the elect. Upon their account I spoke and conversed with him, who will go forth from his high habitation, the Almighty Sovereign and Eternal Lord, the Creator of the world: Who will shortly tread upon the Mount of Sinai, appear with his holy ones; and be made manifest in the strength of his power from heaven. All will be terrified, and the onlookers burdened with a burdensome stone. In that day shall it be made known unto them as, the Rock of offense. And unto the offence encompassed, gathered round about, is also set a cup of great fear and trembling. As for the elect, which will be in the siege, shalt the Lord be made known unto them as, the Rock of defense. And lo, great stupor shall seize the onlookers, even unto the ends of the earth. And the lights shalt go out, as their bulbs too are withdrawn of any fluorescent shining! Thus, the entire land loudly waileth! For behold, the Lord uttereth his voice, with a great and tumultuous shout. The high rims are made low, with each and every rim and backboard wholly rent asunder. The league is overtaken! And all that is therein is come to nought. And Judgement will come upon all, even upon all the players, the coaches, the referees, and the commissioner thereof. For the Lord enters into Judgement with them even as He enters in unto His holy courts, therein Jerusalem ruling with a rim’s rod of iron. Yea, even forever and ever in the Majesty of His Great glory. Then shalt the Lord inherit all, and that which is rightfully his own shalt be made satiate and be blessed; and the splendor of Him shall shine bright upon his chosen ones.
He played today with the Suns jersey back on. Only for 1min and 48 seconds, but still good to see him back.
Bro never gave up and kept pushing 🙏🏿
IT was HIM that time. So much passion and greatness. What a moment to watch, but just like any other story, it sucks it end this way.
written in History... He should be proud of his accomplishments despite his size. He is an Idol.
Playing 5' 9" in the NBA is above normal. He is Great.
I.T. was the closest thing to Allen Iverson when he was in Boston
Que história absurda, triste demais pelo final
How the NBA is a business
Yet y'all wonder why Kawhi does what he does!
Yep....Klaw woulda been done had he stayed with the Spurs...
when the Spurs claimed publicly he had degenerative disease in his quad to hurt his contract negotiation and didn't want him seeking a second opinion and doing the proper rehab trying to get him to play so timmy could get a sixth ring...which they had no chance of doing that year....i knew the Spurs were in the wrong. First he had tendinosis...which is just a bad case of tendonitis that isn't treated and the muscle and tendon are still abused causing tissue break down. Cortisone shots, Botox, rest, pt and long rehab fixes that. Tendinosis is not rare amongst pro athletes nor tradesmen. They literally lied publicly to try to low ball him and force him to stay at the spurs and wanted him to play hurt, ruin his career so Tim could get a 6th ring.
Kawhi made the right choice. He won a ring. Was fmvp. Got a huge shoe deal and got a huge contract with the clippers plus got a team to invest and put together a great team. Sucks he got hurt again because he missed out on millions. His plan was to get his new balance shoe brand established and play Lebron and Steph 4 times a year to promote his shoes. @@paulbunyan9436
My Lakers had 4 chances to draft him in the second round, and i was disappointed they passed on him all 4 times
The celtics did him DIRTY.
This is why you can’t blame players putting themselves over the team. He poured everything to the Celtics but they thew him out like nothing.
Aside from the injury recovery while he was playing in Cleveland, it’s the same thing that happens to superstars that join LeBron. You can’t play the game that made you famous because it’s not your team anymore and LeBron demands the ball way too much still.
Although he didn’t won championships Isaiah Thomas should be a hall of famer no questions asked.
This ain't got nothing to do with LeBron. It's crazy how much y'all h8 that man for being great. I've never seen anything like it in my life
@@pauljohnson2590 it’s no hate, it’s the reality. Once a superstar joins LeBron, specially a ball dominant one, their numbers disappear and is mostly because LeBron demands the ball too much and really he hasn’t learned to play off ball. Again, no hate, just facts.
Some great music in the background, mind sharing the playlist?
Loved this guy as a pistons fan and as a fantasy manager wit him on my squad 😂
People forget the great Calvin Murphy was only 5’9
A fucking legend is what Isaiah Thomas is, and people will never truly realize that, idk how his what if doesn’t get talked about just as much as d rode

hey congrats on nearly reaching 800k
any hour day second now
He should have sued the Celtics honestly I would have or the doctors at least.
There are only two ways Boston can atone for the crimes against IT
1. They win a chip
2. They retire his number for everything he did for the team during his tenure
He did more for Detroit. It's crazy that his # not retired there
Most disrespected player in modern nba history.

I met him around town about a decade ago went to same high school struck me as really down to earth. Really cool to see him accomplish so much in his life.
I hate it when i saw him cry after scoring 81 point on an exhibition game and saying "They gave up on me" 😢
Its the way he said once i leave this gym reality hits shittt.. the moment he left celtics training room his shit down spiraled
His dad made a bet about his sons name 💀💀💀

I love how he wore the Reebok Kamikaze 1.
He's a great player with a lot of spirit he'll go down as that memories one of the Boston greats
Miss watching big dawg.
if he was 6''5 he would be top 5
I wish I could say that but he most likely wouldn’t have worked as hard at 6’5
That’s so cool that IT texted him that about one of his old enemies
I hope a team still picks him up especially a team that needs offense cause he can’t still play he just needs a chance
Why is every nba CZcamsr I like is dropping today
Why the hell do you think the Celtic is the reason why he sucks im a Celtics fan and that broke my heart
The organization literally ruined his hip for life and traded him for a Kyrie Irving disaster class.
i just saw isaish thomas in real life
THE BRINX TRUCK LMFAO
This is why I’m all for player empowerment. These franchises don’t care about these players the way we think they would
Nailed it. I believe they knew he was hurt more than said so traded instead of fixing it
This is why the celtics have come so close to a championship and lose within these past 5 years. Its karma for how they did IT. And after them giving up Smart… im already believin its not gon look too good next season but imma still root for them.
