Arguably the most savage player in NBA history!
Keep up the great content!! You can do this get 1M subscribers!
Please do peskiest defenders in NBA history
WE DO ISAIAH THOMAS
I like your videos can you make a video how good was prime shawn marion please. Thanks 🙏
But not as savage as Larry Bird. Because he will tell you before doing it.
I'm from Minnesota and I'll never forget the day my dad and I watched KG win his first ring in Boston. It was one of the first times I ever saw my dad cry genuine tears of joy. He did SOOOOO much for us in MN and we could never give him the help he needed. 21 got a special place in Minne!
Why does minnesota - an icebox / village - have a nba team for? in fact why do they even have any pro sports franchise? most of you don't watch sports. romping around in the woods and sitting in front of a hole on a frozen lake trying to catch a fish is what you hicks fancy.
What did he do for you in Minnesota? It’s not like people hadn’t heard of the TWolves. It’s not like he won a title
@@grifidj1063 I understand what you're saying bro. I can't wait til they retire his number. I just came back from his jersey ceremony in Boston. I'm from Chicago by the way.
I think the entire state of Minnesota was happy for KG when he finally got his ring in Boston
@@grifidj1063 cool, good for you! I just can’t imagine what kind of grown man would cry tears of joy from watching a bunch of men he’s never met playing a game
KG's resume is so underrated man.

Why’d u post the same thing 3 times
Surprised he only made 4 NBA first teams in his entire career. I guess Tim Duncan.
Lord shit
the better a player then PROBABLY the LESS help they need PERIOD and kevin garnett didn't lead the wolves past round 1 until 04 after they got latrell sprewell and the nba no longer had legends like hakeem olajuwon jerry west larry bird magic johnson michael jordan kareem abdul-jabbar oscar robertson bill russell and wilt chamberlain
I love KG. When he won with Boston, during his on court interview the first thing he said was “this is for everyone in Sota” I cried some manly tears.
KG had the highest peak of any PF...I loved me some Tim Duncan and he clearly had the best career of any PF but make no mistake in their primes KG was the better player.
lol stop it duncan and kg numbers were near identical neither were clearly better than each other
@@michaelsevilla3226 TD was the better natural scorer but everything else, KG has him beat. He can actually guard 1-5 which is insane for a PF. Both nearly identical but if we are talking primes, KG does have Timmy beat
@@SY-mc6td everything else? Defense? Hell nah all defensive selections says otherwise. If u gonna bring up garnett's dpoy then let's talk abt how duncan was robbed of dpoy in 07. He was first in defensive winshare, defensive plus minus and also defensive rating. Marcus Camby didn't even finish in top 3 that year. Rebounding? Hell nah. Even tho duncan had robinson in team he still got 12 rpg per game in his rookie year the only reason why he didn't get a rebound title is because he was unselfish and also let his teammates rebound. Garnett on the other hand was on a one man team so he had to get those rebounds. Playmaking goes to garnett but it's arguable cause alot of tim's contributions to their offense is oftenly not seen in stats. He makes the right decision most of the time. Shooting goes to garnett. Duncan did more in less games and seasons so how is garnett better in everything else?
@@michaelsevilla3226 that’s why u watch no balls but excel sheet😢
Giannis arguably
KG one of the most skilled PF ever. His Defense was amazing and he was a top rebounder in the NBA. Great Rim protector and finisher at the rim. Used the post like no ever and could hit the Mid range. What a skilled player. Also a good playmaker. Garnett was like a way better defensive Chris Webber.
He was sooooo much fun to watch.
Chris Webber is honestly underrated as well
Really wonder what Kobe and KG could have done together. Garnett revealed that he wanted to play for the Lakers and even tried contacting Kobe to no avail to discuss it, but McHale didn't want to send him to LA for obvious reasons.
I think they’d dominate
@@cocohotheatclips8264 they would’ve. But I bet it never happened because McHale doesn’t like the Lakers (played in Boston of course)
Yeah, McHale didn't want their rival (Lakers) to have him. Kobe and KG would own the NBA.
Probably because they watched Pau Gasol make lunch out of him enough times when they played against him..
@@josephholder854 that was post knee injury KG he wasn’t the same player he was still good but before that injury he was still top 5 in the league in 09
KG on the Timberwolves is one of the purest examples of Fantastic player on a bad team
(Here's looking at you Dame)
I was thinking the same, Kevin garnett, Charles Barkley, Barry Sanders, Adrian Peterson, etc....
Well they couldn’t afford anyone because he got the majority of the team’s paycheck. Same goes to Dame.
Naw. He was greedy that's why he was never on a good team. I don't like lebron but he took a pay cut so he could get better teammates 😅😅😅😅
was thinking AD gon be the same with the PELS
Being from MN I love KG and watching him play. I was happy for him when he was traded to Boston because he was going to get his chance at a championship. But the thing that impresses me most is that he got HUGE money at such a young age and didn't f--k his life up. That shows character. At 21 years old he got 100 some odd million dollars and managed to keep his focus on why he was getting that money. I don't know if I would have been able to do the same. He more then pulled his weight when he was pissed at Taylor and McKale again shows character. Love the Kid!
Garnett is probably one of few players that has team loyalty. Now? Players would rather get traded to a strong team for rings. Although who could blame them? Rings = bragging rights, after all...
Kg Is a special dude man I feel he underrated for a certain generation tho
I am a bulls fan and I love the wolves i hope kat dlo and ant man lead u guys to a ring soon
@@A.CMc1997 yeah just ask shaq
@@veershah4735 it's funny you say that cuz i'm a wolves fan and also a fan of the bulls, Zach Lavine is the man
In 2002, A 40 year old Jordan went against this man in his prime and Garnett actually wanted to guard him. He scored 35, thats just crazy, on GARNETT
This video is about KG's Greatness not Jordan
Nobody asked about Jordan you cock rider.
Jordan was 39 in 2002.
its not a basketball video without a jorbun meat rider glazing as expected
The BiG Ticket.. one of the best pioneers in the game. He had the package.
You’ve seen his package?

The what,ayoo??
KG was a great player and one of my favorites, but he's not a pioneer.
Can you do Ben Wallace or David Robinson or isiah thomas from pistons next please??!!
Ah, Ben Wallace, he's a player that could be forgotten because he wasn't a scorer, but damn could he play D, he'd probably make today's players cry
ben wallace was such a BEAST !! still have his jersey !
I agree i wsnt nonstop sports to make another video on how good this players
@@dansweda712 ben Wallace please ppl don’t give em the credit he deserves 4 time dpoy imagine if someone was a 4 time scoring leader def would be talking bout like crazy
Can u do How good was moses Malone
Few players with so much heart/skill in one body. One of the best to ever do it
Im glad they mentioned his loyalty. Big reason KG is one of my favorite players of all time. He would go to war for his teammates.
But he wouldn’t take a pay cut
KG is one of the greatest players ever. One of those dudes who wasnt afraid to get physical down low but had the finesse to hit the mid range. Not to mention his defense which was fantastic as well.
As a nearly 7 ft guy, his offensive bag was out of this world. Post, mid range, attacking the rim. Great scorer. But what sets him apart from others is his defensive skills, rebounding and rim protection. That guy was a monster
hes my favorite. been rocking w/ him since I was kid. always was in awe at him banging his head on the post. made it even better that he put on for my city, MINNEAPOLIS 🖤 || 21🐺
T-Wolves legend, it’s a shame that Boston retired his jersey and the Wolves still haven’t done it yet, even when he came back to retire there
KG was my favorite player growing up. I love his intensity and passion for the game.
if KG had the current timberwolves squad with him , the wolves would have been a dynasty in 2000s. he would have become no.1 PF of all time . sadly, he was the right man at the wrong team.
KG and Ant in a same team? That would be fun to watch.
If KG was drafted to the Spurs and Duncan was drafted to the Timberwolves, KG would've been the greatest power forward of all time.
@Kings Will Soon Rise He's not THE greatest power forward of all time like my comment pointed out though.
Nah Duncan still would have the goat pf
Kg and Kat together (eventhough it did happen) would have been great. And a lot of trah talk with him and Patrick beverley
I saw him play against the Grizzlies once. The Celtics were obviously the superior team, but they didn’t play down to competition. I remember KG blocking every shot within 10 feet of him even when players were just shooting again after the whistle for fouls. He wanted to make sure that nobody even got that little bit of mental space or relief from the pressure. Legend
His conditioning was incredible. To play at such a high level, and still not stop trash talking for the entire game.
Kids, if you've never watched a retired player, there is absolutely no answer as to how good they were. You had to see KG live to see how amazing he was with the timberwolves. He was an all around beast post up player and almost developed a 3 pointer. Great player.
*@Real Essay OG*
Although I did watch KG live, you don't have to watch a player live in order to know how good they were. If you are enough of a student of the league, there are a lot of full games uploaded to youtube and you can find many full games for most all-time greats. They also play plenty of old games on ESPN classic. There are also plenty of highlights to find of most great players including full game highlights and certain videos that show full game highlights throughout a season. Youngins can also study the stats and context of the career/era for the player in question.
In 10 seasons from 22 to 31 years of age:
22 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.4 stls, 1.6 blks.
Been waiting on this. One of my favorite players. I remember wearing KGs my sophomore year.
If Kobe and KG were teammates, I think they might end up with more titles. These 2 were terrific competitors and hardworkers so having them together would've been nastier.
He was my favourite player for many years. His MVP year was one for the ages
I hope KG gets his due credit in the future. So many people hate on him partly bc of his personality, joining the Celtics to win a ring, and his childish conflict w/ Ray Allen but KG in the early to mid-2000s was a Top 3-5 Player in the league (alongside the likes of Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Iverson, and T-Mac) and was perhaps the best two-way player in the NBA along w/ Duncan and Kobe.
Had it not been for poor management and an unfortunate injury to Sam Cassell in 2004, there's a chance that KG could have won a ring in Minnesota.
KG is one of my favorite players so keep up the good work. 👍
Same!
“If he was drafted in San Antonio instead of Minnesota he would probably be considered the greatest power forward ever” facts
All cap 🧢
Just goes to show you how important it is to get drafted in the right environment. Also I heard there were talks at one point or another when Shaq left LA for KG to be traded to the Lakers. It never happened but man oh man could anyone imagine facing KG and Kobe on the same team. You be Intimidated before even entering the building.
kg was my fav player as a kid while i was rooting for the lakers kobe and shaq, #21 was my favorite player bc it was the first time i saw someone who could throw it down with no regard for human life, play the center role and drain long distance fade aways. insane.
He would dominate this era of basketball more then his own era.

Underrated af and great player all round... Knicks Era back in the day was my fav KG
I'm from Minnesota and I loved watching kg. Great passion and energy.
Love your content!
KG kinda doesn't get the respect he deserves.
Until a couple of months ago he was the only player to ever reach top 50 in all major statistics (Harden surpassed him in assists)
18th in points (26071)
9th in rebounds (14662)
51st in assists (5445)
18th in blocks (2037)
18th in steals (1859)
He could have played in this era and still fit the current play style.
I love kevin garnett one of my favorite players of all time!!!!!!
Could you do "How Good was Bill Laimbeer Actually?"
He was mostly known for his dirty plays, but he was a very good player tbh. Has a 3-pt shot and a good rebounder as well. I think he could be perfect for today's NBA.
Very unknown as one of the first shooting bigs
@Dichang Feng well he'd probably adapt his game nowadays. Laimbeer only played that way because it was advantageous for him at the time.
Would you ever consider doing a video on the Seattle SuperSonics? I think you’d be great at telling that story.
Best sports channel on youtube hands down
One of my favorite players ever. Was the first jersey I bought.
I was watching that breakout game with the Rockets, dude's a beast!
If only he went to Boston sooner then he’d be an undisputed legend
He is an undisputed legend.
@@beastmry right he was a legend prior to going to Boston it just elevated his already legendary career
Regardless I consider KG a legend, but agree if the Big3 got 2gether 2 seasons sooner, they atleast have 2 or 3 rings
No player has ever prospered as a Timberwolf. Like all Minnesota athletes, they go elsewhere to find professional success.
He is definitely the greatest versatile PF in NBA history, absolute legend!
He is without a doubt the best power forward in basketball history
KG got drafted today he'd be the 🐐. Playmaking big who can guard all 5 positions at a high level and got range.
Hands down my favorite player of all time
My favorite PF ever!
KG is the Goat of PF. People only consider TD due to the fact he played in a well coached team and balanced Trio that won multiple titles.
He was so good that I changed my team too the Celtics!!!!
Imagine him playing today on one of those big name talent teams, well I guess he did when he went to Boston
This is what im talking about i love this videos about how good this players are can do do Ben Wallace next
needs so much more respect
3:33 Hey, that's the scene from the NBA Live 2000 intro.
Sam Cassell dance was the reason T Wolves lost the series vs Lakers. But in 2008, they both won it in Boston. Love KG and Sammy!
You should do how good was David Robinson actually
The O-2 (Officer-2) NBA Player. I salute.
KG went to my high school and has always been my fav player. Was apparently an awful student and went to detention all the time 😂😂😂
I watched him play in Minnesota when he was drafted. I knew, from the get-go, that he was a Hall of Fame player.
Most skilled PF of all time in my eyes, he was a pioneer of the modern bigs, had the complete package, all around player. He played with such ferocious intensity and passion, unselfish and always put winning about everything else on the court. Inspiring as well, without him, most of the players coming out of high school after him wouldn't have done it. 🐐🐐
He played how all of us wanted our big men to play
Garnett was one of my favorite players
KG is truly in all-time great PF's im glad he got a ring in his career because he deserved one
Stop
I remember seeing a comment saying Duncan had a better career but you can argue KG had a higher peak overall.
Arguably the defensive GOAT, fantastic post game, great playmaking ability, and a reliable jumper. Oh and arguably insane.
No argument for KG over Duncan stop

My favorite big man
He is my Idol ,and 2008 Celtics team
Kevin Garnett is definitely one of the greatest power forwards of all time. He is known for his intensity, defensive ability, and versatility. He played 21 seasons in the NBA, so he retired as a Celtics instead of the Timberwolves. I still wonder why the Timberwolves didn’t retired his number yet, so I’m pissed about it. At least, he went straight to the NBA after coming out of high school.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

My favourite player of all time
Tim Duncan was more dominant offensively and arguably defensively , dpoy or any award has been consistently given to the underdog since the beginning.
Tim is definitely one of the best defensive players ever , statement is ridiculous about kg on spurs he never would have made it on the spurs.
My all time favorite player
Made me fall in love with basketball in 08 along with Kobe
Too good ! Best PF
I want to see this type of video for Patrick Ewing or Ben Wallace
I've always said that last statement. It's all situational. Duncan gets drafted by the hawks, no titles no and nobody thinks he's a top 10 player. Garnett gets drafted by the lakers or spurs, and he's a top ten player.
My favorite player
Facts bro
You should do a video on Steve Nash
the garnett, allen, rondo & pierce era was different man 🔥
Anytime I am making a like best of all time team where you can take whoever I say for this era that we are in right now take KG and put him at the 5 best C in the league with ease and a perfect fit really for any era but especially this one can take you out to 20 and do damage can post you up and do damage but most importantly one of the few players ever that could legit guard 1-5.
*@Dustin Sirois*
Rodman, KG, Artest, LeBron, AD, Draymond and Giannis are the players that I would say could legitimately defend all 5 positions. Maybe throw Hakeem in there too.
this guy was a floor general
the same breed as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Steph curry, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili you name it

"Segregation was a thing"? How old is KG? 150 years old?
Segregation was a thing in the 60s and 70s
No but back then whites didn’t want to associate with blacks even in the 70s and 60s. This is coming from a White guy who wasn’t even alive back the and is from Chicago
Ppl love pretending like slavery and segregation was a long time ago ask any old person in Mississippi their life experience it will break your heart

If Kevin Garnett early to Boston multiple championship in his career 🔥🔥🔥
Kevin Garnett is one of my favorite power forward/small forward/ Center 's the league because he could do it all on the basketball court and his defensive was unbelievable. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
