Woodturning - Spalted Myrtlewood Sphere Stem Vase

  • I found these pieces of spalted Myrtlewood in Oregon late last year. They were very spalted and required soaking in Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin. Even so, they were pretty punky!
    I used basic woodturning techniques to get the pieces round, then hollowed out an inner sphere. A bit of Pewter made for a nice band at the seam.
    The final piece is a little funky, but I like it!

      Это называется ваза для стеблей... внутрь поместится только один или два стебля растения.
