- This was the ugliest, messiest scrap of wood in my shop, so I decided to see what I could do with it. I’m actually really pleased with how it turned out. (The scrap wood was Cedar, by the way).
Thanks for watching this woodworking video!

That looks like a piece of gem. A beautiful bowl. So pretty and jewel looking. Imagine if you could make lots of those how they would sell like hot cakes. Absolutely gorgeous. Wow! 😮❤
Maybe…but I’d get sooo bored making them!
Beautiful bowl. Love the colors in the wood, and that you used like color in the resin.
Great variety of colors and textures. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Cheers!
Love how you matched the resin to the grain, beautiful piece
Thank you very much!
Beautiful work- the shape is perfect- thank you for sharing your work
Thank you very much!
Beautiful! Love the shape and the beauty of the grain
Thanks, Bruce!
Beautiful work. I absolutely love the colors. Happy New Year ❤
Thank you! You too!
I've heard other turners swear by using a wire wheel to clean and scuff up the wood before pouring resin. Gives the resin a better surface to bond to.
But I still enjoy watching makers adapt when things don't go as planned.
Sweet! Love the colors!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful
Really like this -just beautiful.
Thank you so much!
That turned out really nice.❤❤🎉
thank you!
Beautiful, happy new Year to you and yours
Thank you! Cheers!
Спасибо за то что научил огрызки превращать в красоту
Possibly my favourite piece you've made:-)
It’s one of mine, too. Thanks!
Very nice !!!
!!!!
thank you!
It's usually the ugliest pieces that make the best end result. I've done several similar bowls and they made very nice gifts.
So true!
❤beautiful ❤
thanks!
Did you pressurize that vessel or put it under vacuum?
pressure.Vacuum is best if you’re trying to get certain kinds of resin to be pulled into the wood grain. Pressure is best if you want the resin to fill the voids.
漂亮!
Hihi, Are you open to any collaboration? How can we reach you?😀😀
be nice to know what u use
Resin: TotalBoat High Performance/Slow Hardener
Finish: Yorkshire Grit Woodturners Abrasive Paste
I wish you guys would wear safety gloves.
gloves can actually be more dangerous because if the material should happen to catch on the spinning g wood it will pull your hand in and mangle it instantly
In any lathe or revolving machinery, gloves and long, loose sleeves are a no go.
What is your RPM's
this one I was able to turn fast. about 1000 rpm
Beautiful
Thank you
