People often forget that many of the current RM players such as Vini, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Fede were bought when they were 18. They didnt arrive as superstars - they were kids. RM knows how to help those players reach that potential better than any one. One player that often gets overlooked in RM team is Fede. He is a mental and physical monster and one of the best B2B midfielder currently. And RM bought him for 5m euros when he was 18. Unbelievable.

I think this is also the results of Florentino Perez changing how Real Madrid built their team, in his first term (2000-2006) he focused on making blockbuster moves with Galactico signing Figo, Beckham, etc and it failed miserably....when he started his second term in 2009 he started to buy "well-known" wonderkid instead like CR7 and Benzema and in the early 2020s he started to focus on hidden-gem wonderkid like Vini, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Fede and it still keep going with Endrick that will join next year

Vini, who was signed even before making his pro debut in Brazil, is the first Brazilian to score in two CL finals (beating the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Romario, Rivaldo etc)
Vini also became the eyoungest person to score in two CL finals, beating Messi

Man United in the Fergie days could I think, but that has severely declined. The Italian teams in the 90s and 00s as well, Milan (also Ancelotti) were huge.
Since Ronaldo went to Real though, it's just upped a gear. The rivalry with Barca helped them as well, increased focus on Barca meant increased focus on Madrid.

In order of favourites with the bookies for the Ballon d'Or, 1) Vini Jr 2) Bellingham 3) Kroos - So immediately 3 of their players are actully the best. 4th is Mbappe in the odds and he's joining them next season. Don't give me any of that drivel that Real Madrid don't have the best player in the world, they have 3 of them and will have 3 of them next season too. At one point just before half time, the commentators asked who would be the more concerned manager. They agreed it was Carlo Ancelotti. I turned to my wife and said I disagree. Dortmund played so so well in that first half and didn’t put one attempt away. Madrid looked lethargic and had no shape. I said that surely it would be Terzic because he will know that Real will go in at half time and Don Carlo will read the riot act. They’ll come out and score a couple of goals and win. And they did. And that’s what great teams do. They play in first gear and when they need to step it up they do. I’m enjoying my time as a Real fan. And I’m hoping they will continue with this amazing young group of players for years to come.

Next season a club will either 2 or 4 games more depending on where they finish, Man City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will still reach the quarter finals and this irritates me, as it not a proper test, yes they have 2 matches against teams in pot 1 yet that barely put a dent, they still finish in top 8, therefore Seeded in the last 16; I think everyone in their pot should face each other regardless if they are from the same Association, and I think the qualifying rounds should be put into a league qualifying phase group depending on their coefficient and scrap the Champions and league paths and get 7 teams qualify.
