T-slot cover, stopping those chips getting stuck in the T-slots!!! Lol

Hey guys so I wasn’t gonna make a video about this but thought it might be a + for someone so here it is.
In all honesty after the first use of the mill I was thinking I need to get something to cover those t-slots.
I’ve had this rubber for years just sitting there waiting for it use,we’ll todays that day and it done it’s job well better than well, marvellously as it saved me a pretty penny in buying one for it.
Next will be using the same material to make a sort of bellows, just a piece to stop chips getting down on the ways.

Definitely the mat version Darren, you will get fed up of poking all the small bits out every time you want to do a different setup on the mill. Cheers, Jon

Great idea buddy and I prefer the mat one, but will chips not fall in through the vise area, but look I have no idea it was just a though as I watched the video 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

could had just layed those big blue piece over the slots while working. way simpler and faster

Thanks for your comment, didn’t you watch the video, I made both, ones for in the slots as you see on the thumbnail, and mats for each of the sides and they work ever effectively, watch for my next video and you’ll see how well they work.
