Good video. Does it come with a junction box for mounting on a brick wall ? It would of been good to show the fixing of the light in your video. Have you just attached the metal bracket to the timber to fix the light and wired it up on the inside of the garage?
Good Question! It does not come with a junction box. I used a old work recessed light fixture box for my back floodlight and attached the floodlight to that. However you will need a 4inch whole saw to bore it out so you can mount the box on wood of course. For your situation you can pick up a "Bell Box" at any hardware store. Its the code word for external junction box. I used a "bell box" to mount my other floodlight in my other Eufy floodlight review video. Also I didn't show much of the install on purpose because I am not a licensed electrician and will not be held liable for anything electrical done in this video. Also if you want to see more detail of the electrical work done on both the flood lights check out my video Finishing My Garage Part 1 where I go into more depth on how I got both my floodlights setup. Keep in mind that video is for entertainment purposes only.
@@CrazyRick250 Just watched Garage part 1 yes it looks so much neater with the Junction box inside the garage. The IGeek ZYE1 floodlight has a backplate with internal Junc box so much neater and slimmer profile. Eufy needs to copy there design.
I have my floodlight camera for 2yr device got deleted I'm having problem adding it to the app keep saying no Wi-Fi I tried about 20 times how can I put it back to manufactory setting
I have a Eufy 2k dual camera video doorbell, and a Ring Floodlight cam, etc, I put those stickers on my storm doors and windows, why did you say not recommend to use those stickers?…every since I installed a security camera, I hardly have a strangers, (mostly solicitors) come to my door/property…maybe they saw the stickers.
I have just got word of Anker Eufy situation! For those of you that don't already know word has gotten out about the practices of peoples data with Eufy. Check out my video on the matter where I put links to videos going into meat and potatoes on this issue. czcams.com/video/_rQ0QlG90SI/video.html
@@Tundra71 That's why I have a separate POE camera system with a hardwired NVR. I use these cameras as alert cameras. I don't use then for footage. If this is your only system however then you need to mount them way out of reach.
Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks for the video, mine has a different problem, it won't turn on the lights, any suggestions?

Millennials know how to shop online for good products.
But all these cameras have buttons on top, you can press them and all your footage and accounts gonna be deleted.
