Dangdest thing I’ve ever seen. My in laws have a 16 or 17 Sorento and the shop told them some crazy price to change plugs. I was like no way I’ll do it. Then I ended up seeing what the process is. I’m still gonna do it. I’ll just be cussing about it. I’ve always had GM vehicles and they seem simple to work on to me in comparison to some of these other models. Thank you for the great video, Sir! 👊🏼

Have to pull the blue piece, kind of slides to the side. I spent 45 minutes trying to figure it out lol.

Thats not the intake manifold, that's the surge tank. intake is the metal part under the plastic surge tank.

Thanks. I wish there was more footage of the manifold after it was off though 👍

Great video, However I kept hearing a dog barking ( with headphones on ) and kept wondering why my dog wasn't growling like she normally does with a strange dog in the neighborhood. Oh.....it's coming from this video.

I did the same, thinking it was a neighbors dog because my wife was outside and all our dogs are inside with me.

bro, I think you saved my butt by showing off what bolts/nuts you were getting from where. Have an 09 sonata with the v6 that i started doing plugs/coils on like 2 years ago and got pissed because the nutsert at the top of the throttle body broke loose and now the bolt is stuck. Had access to other vehicles so I said "screw it, I'll deal with it later." Now it's later and I have the bolts and stuff mostly organized, just don't remember where they all go now lol. thanks dude.

    So I got a few a codes.
    A crankshaft/Sensor
    Misfire
    Timing chain
    Canister Purge valve.
I changed all 6 spark plugs.
Put a new valve in. Reconnected everything back. But now my car refuse to accelerate when I press on the gas. And it also make a whistling noise and while running, and also clanking noise. Any advice?

I kind of started out the same way 15 years ago. So much of what I've learned has come from trial and error. But it's hard earned wisdom. I'm much quicker and more accurate now. The confidence builds little by little.

Hello I’m in the same situation but different code. What was your next step after changing the upper intake manifold?

I literally watched this 9 times. Took every single bolt and nut as the video played one by one. Every single plug. And still broke it.... what the actual fuck.
