P200A 2010 Hyundai Sante Fe GLS 3.5 P200A LOWER INTAKE REPAIR 

This sick 2010 Hyundai Sante Fe 3.5 was experiencing check engine light a P200A bank 1 performance. I used the scan tool to check bidirectionally to see if the VCM was working and used a scope, it was working good. My next step was to remove the upper and lower intake to see if in fact the flaps were broken off, they were. Part 1 is disassembly and Part 2 will be the reassembly. Great video but I have a question if you could possibly help. I replaced my lower intake manifold and fuel injectors a few weeks ago and before changing I had no codes but now I have a 92096 and a p0455 code now and wanted to know if I needed to have the new injectors coded to my ecu? I have a 2011 Kia Sorento with the 3.5L engine?

Hi. I just changes the motor that turns the flaps inside manifold . Problem is still not fixed so it must be the flaps. Is it ok to ignore the light and just drive ? Vehicle seems to work fine

Yes until it runs rich or lean it’ll blow out the cat. It’s common issue for these. We have inspection here so no engine light can be on. If your state is diff then drive on

What are the torque specs for the upper intake bolts and nuts?

Upper is 4.3ft lbs 5.9Nm step 2 18.62 to 23.52 Nm Bolt is 26. To .31 Nm. 1st 2 steps are nuts last is bolt
