This product is great! Great for 15min steam treatment sessions, think: sitting near a hot steamy shower but with this u don’t have to waste all that water just to get the benefits of the warm steam!

It never fails to amaze me how some parts of the US are almost like another world. I also don't mean that in a bad way, just so different and I wish I could go see for myself. I really love how unlike other youtubers I've seen I can tell you actually care about what you are doing and have respect for the people and the area you went to. You don't talk down about the area or be patronizing toward anyone. Also, side note - buildings like schools, hospitals, psych wards, prisons etc hold a lot of energy from the numbers of people in and out and things that have taken place, that's probably what you were feeling around time stamp 18:36. That building in particular looked like it would have a lot of stories behind those walls, would be interesting if a paranormal crew did an investigation (for those who believe in or are intrigued by that sort of thing). I'd definitely watch.

I had never heard of this Vicks product before, I was aware of womens facial steamers in the back of my mind, its something I have been meaning to try for years, as I have asthma and blocked sinuses. I would have bought a Vicks one, if I had know they existed, but it was just an impulse, as nobody told me about it and I had never seen one in person. You would think a doctor would have mentioned it, as my sinus condition is a chronic one. I have trouble all the year round with my sinuses and the facial steamer, has two attachments, one for sinus problems and one for face skin problems. I have only just bought my steamer, so I dont know how effective it is as yet.

You don't put your face in contact with the mask so it should be good to clean between uses. I wipe my mask with CPAP wipes between uses.

How should you be cleaning the product. The base seems to be accumulating some white crust that could be residue from the vapor pads. What do you advise?

Question: How do you clean this product?
Answer:
The unit should be rinsed daily and thoroughly cleaned weekly. The unit should also be emptied and wiped dry if not in use. Caution: Always unplug from the electrical outlet and let the Ssteam iInhaler cool down for at least 20 minutes before cleaning. NEVER immerse the Base in water or any other liquid.
After Each Use
Remove mask and Top Housing and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
If any water is left in the Water Reservoir, pour water out and wipe Reservoir and Base with a dry, clean cloth or paper towel. NEVER immerse the Base in water or other liquid.
Replace Mask and Top Housing; store in a cool dry place.
Weekly Maintenance
If your Steam Inhaler is used ten or more times a week or scale builds up in the Water Reservoir, follow these additional cleaning instructions:
Remove Mask and Top Housing.
Pour 2.5 tablespoons of undiluted white vinegar into the Water Reservoir and let sit for 10 minutes.
Empty the white vinegar and rinse out Water Reservoir with fresh, clean tap water. Use caution to not let water get into the electrical areas.
Dry the Water Reservoir and Base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
Wash Mask with mild soap and warm water then carefully rinse off all soap with fresh, clean tap water. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
The clean the VapoPad Tray, wet the tip of a cotton swab and wipe slots.
Replace Mask and Top Housing. Store in a cool, dry place.
Note: Only the Top Housing dishwasher safe. It may be cleaned in the Top Rack of a dishwasher.
After Long Periods of Non-Use
If you haven’t used your electric steam inhaler for two weeks or longer, follow the Weekly Maintenance Instructions before the next use.

I just use it with regular water and mainly for allergies I really don’t use the menthol pads unless necessary
