The DREAM
I did not expect his recreation of the music to be so good, amazing!
Yeah forgot for 2 sec that he's a trained opera singer. 😅
His singing is amazing! So is his comedy!
I'm 24, closeted and living in a small country-side religious Town in italy and I'm soooo bitter.
Also the Heartstopper syndrome is real
Dude, get out of there. :) (I know, I know, easier said than done…)
ouch... sud immagino?
Immagino che anche in veneto o simili non sia una passeggiata.
@@glitch84-maybe not in Venetian, but in Venezia? Come in. Gayest place on earth.
My neighbors think Matteo is hilarious, too. To clarify: I live in a hole in the wall where the “walls” are actually made from toilet paper & toothpaste. I’m cooking while watching this & shrieking bc it’s…Matteo & I just heard a mocking shriek from the other side of the “wall.” It was as accurate as Matteo’s documentary music impression. I need to crawl into my oven now. 🫠
That brings up even more questions
@@KEeosFight If I have to guess, he lives the dream in NY 🤣
@@kreaturenand paying about 5k a month- which was a bargain.
as a closeted 20 yo who cries in the dark to "I Rise" by Madonna, I feel very attacked rn lmfao
Hey, Matteo, try "coming out" in 1968 like I did -- with my first partner.
OMG I think I'm turning into Matteo. Middle aged, working out too much, thinking about hair transplant. 😱
And that's a bad thing? 😂
He's a natural!
*except the wig
@@homoerectus6953 Haaaa
He had hair surgery
@@homoerectus6953 its not a wig =)
@@ChillandQuill i know it was a cheeky poke has his hair replacement...lol
He's doing a show here in Montreal this Saturday at L'Olympia...
This man is great 😂🎉
Babes I can’t get over your hair!!! It looks fantastic!!!
He's fabulous!
That singing tho!
I've stopped trying to come out. I just exist and if people wanna get to know me then talk to me 😄
You are right. We own people no explanation about what we are and frankly at the end I think nobody cares
@@claudiodusi1956 of course they cares. Ppl always cares about other's lives, the whole entertainment industry from Homer to k-pop about it!
So don't ask don't tell, huh. Never works.
Seattle shoutout! Thanks Mateo, we love our pyramids 😁
He's got a very good point about gay prides. I remember going to a few prides in my own country (I'm not gay) because it's a shitty country where it's not ok to be gay and I wanted to stand up for what I believe are human rights. When I moved to another country, I went to a pride there for the same reason and realised that no-one gives a shit if you're gay or not, people are just living their lives and letting others do the same. It was totally fine to be gay, it wasn't a deal at all. And I was like, yeah, that's how it should be. So I stopped going to prides. I have nothing against prides but in some places, I don't see the point having them, it's just a bunch of people in colourful clothes dancing around. Which is fine, get together, have a good time but for me, there's no meaning to it.
honey, just google why Prides are matters if you really interesting. it's all explained long time ago.
What a weird comment. You explained in the first AND second half why people go: one, to stand up for human rights, and two, dancing and having fun. No need to be such a hipster about it.
No. Even when some kind of equality is achieved, there are ALWAYS people who want to fight back and they will try to remove the rights lgbtq+ have obtained. Look at the abortion law in U.S. That could happen to anything people have earned.
There are already people talking about overthrowing the marriage equality law (act?). The moment we lower our guard, it's when we risk losing our rights.
This goes for anything, not only lgbtq rights, but also women rights, workers' rights, etc ect
Do you think once a marginalized group gets rights they just stay that way? Minority communities have to fight to stay visible and maintain every inch of social and legal acceptance we've fought for. We can just lay down the baton and go home. The moment that happens we will lose it all again.
Love him check out his CZcams his CZcams he postes he some of his stand up there so funny
Sooo funny 😸♥️
I love his singing voice, sounds rlly like he should just go and enter as the background singer for the next Huge Arabic Documentary :D
you are the best..... love your pants!!!!
ThankU! For calling out British accents on narrators of American documentaries! I've had it
My dad told everybody when i was 4 years old . he just wanted to make sure i knew how to defend myself .
i realized he was right when i was 11, as soon as puberty started but i waited to come out at 14 .
Lmfao 😂😂😂
Me too Matteo... Me too... But I'm still kind of happy for them. Like I fought for this. Enjoy your freedoms kiddos.
Great stuff, although it scared me, a little. I have a daughter who's just come out. Obviously, she's accepted by her mum and me, no questions, but we have a second daughter who's twelve... Is she a ticking gay time bomb? 🤣
Usually if it’s a twin couple or 2 sister they are both gay
@@Noname-lw6hpno lol, ur getting it wrong, if people were not gay before its BECAUSE of social influence (they were just not comfortable saying it or even exploring it). Now, people are more comfortable being what they want to be and loving who they want (the only influence social here have is to make people do what want to do, its not a trend or wtv this isn't tik tok lol) No one is gay just cuz it seems cool lol (anyways for the most part im sure there are some exceptions and that does not include people who are still searching themselves which is still fine if they're not sure yet)
@@Noname-lw6hp lol, go read a book.
@@Noname-lw6hp So all the straight couples birthing gay children throughout the centuries just TOLD them to be gay.... yeah, that makes sense.
All twelve years old girls are ticking time bombs!
I get it.
But like. Dont we want it to be better?
two things can be real
British narrator = learning = truth.
We love you Matteo! 🏳️🌈
I'm 71 and I've never "come out." I just always WAS. My gayness was first forcibly pointed out in 4th grade. I never felt the need to announce it to the world, though if that's your thing, more power to you. Oh, and by the way, I never cried about it or bemoaned it. It's just who I am as God made me.
You are very, very lucky.
How nice for you. I do detect quite a bit of "pride" in your statement though, as if you think this is how everyone should live. Remember that even in this day and age, it is not at all safe for people in certain areas and certain situations to live freely...it can literally be fatal. I am sorry you were outed at such a young age, happy that you survived. But let your fortunate and unusual-for-the-time experience engender compassion for those who have a much worse time of it.
You seem like a fun and nice person to be around. Good to hear you never struggled with identity and self-esteem, I guess.
Fuckin' asshole.

Damnnn. Living so blissfully happy that you can‘t even acknowledge how privileged you are. Bless.
He’s seven years old, when was he IN the closet?
Love this white concept that if an ancient colored civilization did something impressive like the pyramids for sure they must have had alien help
Hello…so early! 🎉

Or would you prefer to go back to the 1929 massacre (19 years before the State of Israel was founded)? Or the unilerateral withdrawal from Gaza almost 20 years ago? Or any point in between?
Maybe go all the way back to the Ottoman conquest?
Know some history before you mouth off, Colin.
@@naomiarram5187 no i’m talking about 1948 when Isreal started the actual war to gain control of the country of Palestine.

Hhj😅😅😅
7 years old is too young to really know, though.
I'm sure you say the same about heterosexual children
Yep! It's gay agenda! We must protect our children! Poor kids, take them to the priest, it helps.
@@glitch84- Of course not, lol. Hell, kindergartens have little "wedding days" where they pair up opposite gender children and go through all the motions of a traditional straight wedding with cake and pictures! No one says a peep about that, but the second they pair up two boys there'd be a f^ckin' MELTDOWN from parents.
Not funny.
A lot but nothing has really changed. This guy is one of the most overrated comedians on the circuit. Predictable act….
You also used YOUR TIME to watch it and hate on someone 🥲
A of his material has not changed when you watch enough of him over time. I'm nearly done.
I went back to university and am usually read as an ordinary undergrad age (I'm 29). I was hanging out at the pride centre a couple months ago and someone said, "I didn't even realize I was queer until I was like 15" and I just 😳 what do you mean you didn't even until???? It was truly a different era for me when I came out!
