More about Gianmarco:
Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022. He’s acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who’ve gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowdwork clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.🎤

Hi I’m the princess in the video 😅 go to my channel if you wanna see my recent poetry performance about turning 30 as an ex princess ❤️✨
Why hello again again
Oh boy
Isn't it funny how Disney is so famously protective of their image, and the image they've cultivated is evil corporate lunatics?
It helps transition us from Disney children to normal adults
Crazy idea: To keep a good image, behave ethically and treat your employees well.
Really? Man, I missed some major societal changes apparently. I honestly didn't realize Disney had this many people think of them like this.
@yikemoo ... really? You didn't know Disney was a gigantic evil corporation? Or you didn't know people perceived them that way? I find that genuinely fascinating either way. What did you think of when you thought of Disney? Or what did you imagine others thought?
@yikemoo I'm sure not everyone thinks the same thing. But Walt was a hardcore capitalist. He despised unions. There's other things about him you can check out if you like, but those two facts are indisputable. The company still has that ingrained in its DNA. They are monopolistic, anti competitive, and aggressively anti-worker. They are extremely litigious, fiercely controlling of their brand, they made their whole company off of the back of the public domain while doing everything in their power to kill the public domain, they own all sorts of horrifying businesses in a million different sectors, fighting tooth and nail every step of the way to kill all regulation.
I don't know if any of this resonates with y'all. There's a billion other things I could talk about, but I'm getting a little ranty, so I'm gonna stop. But yeah, we all enjoy some kind of Disney media (because they own most of it), but the company is a tyrannical behemoth that paints sunshine and rainbows on the walls of their sweatshops and toxic chemical plants
What I gathered from this interaction: if you're in a room with a few dozen people in Orlando Florida, at least one of them has been fired by Disney.
It'll be more than one. There are 82,000 cast members at Disney World. 263,000 or 1 in 32 of all the jobs in FL are either directly or indirectly involved with Disney.
You can always tell who's a disney adult and who isn't. Dont worry. They'll tell you.
This also applies to theater kids...
this also applies to people who went to ivy league schools
A colleague of mine was from the same area as me. She had brought her husband to that area multiple times, introduced him to her friends, etc. She was obsessed with Disney. Annual tickets, Disney Christmas tree, Disney tableware, homemade Disney dresses. She invited me to their home when I was fairly new and her husband had been told that I was from the same area. He asked me FIVE times to reassure him that I wasn’t a Disney adult 🤣 poor guy thought everyone there was obsessed because she was (is) and all her friends are, too. When I told him I still enjoy watching a Disney movie now and then, he started questioning me again 🙈
@@otter011 yikes lol. Sounds rough man..
What is a Disney adult?
Sorry to comment again but I have another Disney related thing. My mom’s friend used to work there and she play goofy. Keep in mind that this woman is literally a model and she was told she couldn’t play a princess because she was too tall
That one actually makes sense. If a kid goes to Disney expecting to meet a princess and she turns out to be 5'0" tall or 6'0" tall, the kid is gonna be really confused.
Being fired from being a princess for turning 23 is ridiculous though.
@cruztastrophe I can assure you that to a 2 foot toddler, ANY adult looks like a giant...
@@cruztastrophe there's no way I would notice if one of the princesses was "too tall" when I was a kid. they were all tall
I was three and had a problem with the sad barney my mom hired ( both conceptually and how short it was and other lackluster features) so I get it, also means shorter models and actresses have a niche they can fill.
i might be wrong but i believe all the costumes are the same size and there’s a limit to what can be adjusted, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t hire tall princesses
the fact that you left the entire gun range bit in this video even though it's in a separate video just for context for that one joke at the end
I'm pretty sure that's one of the bits he does over and over and over...
@@agnessofiacastrocarvalho774 haha i know but usually he clips only the relevant bits, its just funny to me that this time it was the entire story
Based on voice, that Merida met my son when he was one in 2019. She was wonderful.
She wasn’t speaking in a Scottish accent?
when he was one what
@@kiwi_armsyears old probably
@@kiwi_arms Also played Merida
"I don't know the difference between any of those guns. That's their LGBTQIA2+."
😂😂😂
As someone who lives in San Francisco I gotta say I know more about those guns than that, like sure LGBT no problem... Q, eh I guess... then rest the letters numbers and symbols near the end have me going "oh fuck this, they're just making shit up for the sake of making the term as long as possible"
@@Mike__B As someone who doesn't live in the US: What does you living in San Francisco has to do with that? Feels like I'm missing some context here.
About the rest: I'm not a part of that community, but I don't see a problem at all. Sure, saying LGBTQ+ should be enough and it's what I usually use. But virtually nobody uses all these letters all the time, it's a total non-issue.
@@God_Is_An_Atheist just do a google of "gay capital of the world" or "lgbqt capital of the world" then your first question will probably be answered. Of course, those results my differ if Google uses your location to filter results.
@@God_Is_An_Atheist its basically giving the conservatives free ammo for ridiculing all of the lgbtq+ community
@@Mike__B It was probably hyperbole on his part, don't worry about it.
I mean, the proposal thing makes sense for everyone involved; imagine you propose to someone, they say no, and there's a Disney princess in full getup right next to you during what's probably one of the worst moments of your life...
That's why public proposals, unless you know that he/she wants to, is just an awful move. Cause besides the embarrassment, it also puts immense pressure on that person to say yes because of that otherwise inevitable embarrassment.
@@auran_vesdranor the best advice I've heard on the matter is "the place and time of the proposal should be a surprise, not the answer"
@@virtheon "Should" is the keyword here. But yes, I 100% agree.
@@virtheonOoh, this is good. It's like saying “Let's take the next step on the journey we're already sharing” instead of “Do you want to join me? (please say yes)”
It requires that both members already be emotionally committed and just ready to make it official.
Also maybe just dont propose in front of a stranger dressed in cosplay you waited in line for without them knowing. I'm surprised and disappointed that would even be allowed at all.
Even Gianmarco's audience members attract fans who are children of divorce in their own profession.
Its like a chain reaction.
I mean something like 50% in all marriages end in divorce in the US... it's basically a numbers game. A statistical probability.
It's said the children who met the disney princess will too go on to meet children of divorce, and the cycle will continue long after gianmarco
Using the Disney font for her voice 😂😂😂
it's always easy to recognise a theatre kid, you'll just know before they even need to say anything 😂
But who talks first, a theatre kid or a vegan?
There were some damn good jokes that got swallowed by laughter. The LGBTQ gun show joke and the kids getting practice at school were dark as hell but holy shit I laughed so hard.
I love how its the same person from the last show that doesnt happend much
My friend was in Disney when his children were young, and decided to do an angry drunk Mickey Mouse impression. Some of the nearby staff thought it was hilarious, but security wasn't impressed, and told him to knock it off.😂
OH MY GOSH
Yes that is literally what happens, the woman who plays the fairy god mother was Snow White decades ago. If you’re good enough they do keep you on and put you into the older/ugly face characters like the step sisters, evil queen, etc.
The hands on experience joke did not get nearly enough credit, that was gold
I have N E V E R laughed harder than when Gianmarco struck the pose at 8:34 I-💀
It seemed to me he was incorporating the Cinderella gloves into his hand gestures. Maybe I’m crazy, but I was convinced he had imaginary gloves. 😄
"Hey didn't this function use to take more arguments?"
"Yeah it got curried away"
Like 0.01% of the population is going to get this joke.
LMAO brilliant
wow
12 minutes of crowdwork? Thank you Gianmarco.
Try telling that one at the restaurant 😂
I’ve been back stage. there are massive warehouses. Two of them are strictly Christmas decorations. They are so strict about having phones back there that they have signs posted every 20 yards that warn you. Also marching in a parade down the center sucks cause I almost broke my ankle and it’s too goddamn hot for uniforms.
There's a shop in NYC called Curry at Home. But I think the best curry joke I've ever heard is of a shop called Curry Be Worse....
I don't get the second one.
@@MommyOfZoeAndLiama play on "could be worse," maybe? (or, depending on the accent, perhaps even "couldn't be worse")
I feel like anyone that was a former CM has got tons of stories. I worked a resort and have an entire story about a family that forgot their five year old and went to the parks. Then when we called them, they didn’t want to come back for her and complained that their vacation was ruined. CMs have certainly seen things and stuff which is why anytime I visit the parks, I’m as nice as possible to them because I’ve been there and I know.
the fact that the 1. forgot their own CHILD and 2. didn't want to go back for her + victimized themselves????? scary how some people are allowed to be parents
@huffiepuff33 they took their own car too. So they weren't using Disney transport and this was before magicbands came into play so they had paper tickets too and never noticed she was missing.
Like Boeing, protect her identity at all cost 😅
She ate tho. Like great back and forth with Gianmarco both times
this guys my favorite comedian now ive shared so many of these clips w my friends lmao i think theyre starting 2 think im annoying
By far, you’ve become my favorite comedian
Oh, there’s so much darkness here, it’s like eating a whole chocolate cake! 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
The "ahhh" at 9:31 was perfect imo
"Try telling that one at the restaurant." They sure wouldn't be expecting _that_ Dad joke.
walk around / meet n greet princesses actually aren't allowed to sing 🤭🤫
5:00 no wonder she's pro-disney, probably trying to stay pro-earning income too
Trying to not get *curried* away from the employment huh?
Was there as a kid. Mickey gave me lice.
So the last joke bombed 😂
I wonder how he recovered from it 😂
I love that Gianmarco took us to the gun show whilst telling us about his trip to the gun show.
9:30 "Ahhhhh"
you’re the only one how can make me laugh. you’re hilarious 😂
omg my sides hurt, this is so fucking good 😭💀
And the ending was just 👌💯
I was dying this entire set, amazing
Gods, this is the best one yet 😂
Hey, no judgement. I’d probably be a Disney adult too if I could afford it. So instead, this is a Knotts Berry Farm family! Were ride or die with Snoopy! Peanuts Gang 4 Life!
The longer you stay in Florida, the more likely you become one of us
i knew she was a theater kid when she said she was a cast member at Disney LOL. or was even a Disney adult at all 😭 it wasn't even a question in my mind girl 😭😭
Not the glasses being taken off after that dad joke! Like thats...thats enough looking for today. LOL!
Clicked this so fast. Gianmarco loves juicy gossip!
Love the shirt ❤
Don't get curried away.
Legend😂😂😂😂❤
Every episode of this kinda clips has brought me so much fun and joy.
Did they whoo at the fact they didn’t take COVID seriously 😂
come to toronto!!!!
this guy is on fire, I hope he remains in good health
too funny
The sun will come out…. Tomorrow.
I mean, not for you cause you got fired. But for everyone else.
Disneys gonna be piissssed
As a student, I was taught about the second amendment. 8th grade was only a few years ago.
Edit: neither was fourth.
i used to work in disneyland paris as a witch in the parade when i was 19/20. Never eeeeeeeever would i go there with my children, i‘ve seen too much 😂🙈 But at least i met my partner of over a decade there
6:25 the joke was not bad, he did the same thing and his delivery was great.
did he go to the Soviet Womble school of subtitles? these are great!
I worked for Disney when I was in my 20s (like 15 or so years ago)... honestly there was nothing bad about it. They had weird strict rules, but honestly nothing unreasonable. I left because I didn't have a car at the time and had to take like an hour bus ride there and back everyday I worked for like $5-and-chage an hour and going to college full time... even the free entry into all Disney parks for me and my family wasn't worth it.

Hey buddy! Do you have any service, or know of any that text/email/alert that let us known when you come to our city specifically? I live in Portland, Or, and I'd pay out the nose for good seats to your show! I mean, I could try to not be a lazy ass, and see when your future shows are but... what can I say?
Please come to Chicago!!!!
Up
Oh man, he did not get enough appreciation for the line about kids getting hands-on 2nd amendment experience
What is that flying past the camera around 9:30?
Haters can hate Disney all they want, but I'm still gonna love them for screwing up Ron DeSantis. 😊
It's godzilla vs mothra. Let them fight.
Heartwarming ❤ the worst ppl you know are fighting
Colleen, miranda sings, got fired from Disney for doing inappropriate jokes
You're like Phil Hanley but funnier and more handsome.
Interestingly enough, second amendment is in the Bill of Rights, not the Constitution.
But what happens when they say no? That's the real question
9:30 Wtf is that thing???
it's the text of him saying "ahhhh" and moving across the screen
?? Yeah, sure. Never heard of a trade fair?
lol
What is this, ex Disney therapy?
9:55 bu espiri kesinlikle süper bayat, bunu komik sanman komedi.
diğer espiriler iyi.
That last joke was so funny and well constructed! it's a shame the audience for this show sucked
Gandhi was pro-guns. Its true, Gandhi was actually badass and he despised cowards. He said there was always hope for a violent man to learn non-violence, but theres none for a coward. A coward will always be a coward. He said that a Man, who when faced with the threat of violence acted like a mouse, was a coward. He is a danger to all those around him and has no business at the head of a family.
Gandhi said if there was the possibility of non-violence he would choose non-violence. But Gandhi was no fool. He said when faced with a choice of violence or cowardice, he would always choose violence.
They've made Gandhi out to be a pacifist but he considered pacifism as cowardice.
Non-violence isn't pacifism, a coward is only capable of pacifism.
To Gandhi non-violence was the ideal to strive for, but he wasn't delusional and didn't believe in lying down and hiding when faced with violence and the need to defend those in need, family and country.
Difference is your country isnt being oppressed.
You won't need to defend those in need, let that do the professionals and make the country safer.
Also, just because you act in a pacifist way in situations, or want a safe system in your country, doesnt mean you are a coward, that is absolute bullshit. Pacifism doesnt even mean "running away from dangerous situations", how does any of this make sense.
@@superbrain7852 no it's actually the exact same: "the only thing that can stop a bad white with a gun is a good brown with a gun"
Now that we're through with the joke, I feel like it's also important to note that multiple of Gandhi's movements just outright ended when people started getting violent and it's even more important to note that this comes after both WWI, where India fought and earned nothing, and the Amritsar Massacre, which had some lauding it as a great act as Indians were too inherently inferior to the white man to deserve the right to protest and instead deserved only to be fired upon. Gandhi could not afford to believe in cowardice, but he still did not return great violence in whole.
Oh please expound on satyagraha and ahimsa
Gandhi was also a child predator :)
Fascinating. Really fascinating. You know who else was totally pro violence? Charles Manson AND Vlad the impaler.
Is his big take away from the gun show that, somehow, gun owners have made guns their entire identity? LOOOLLLL he made the blind joke and it's true. He really is blind to the world around him 😂
@@Adi-bo5do That only depends on if he personally knows any gun owners and has real human conversations with them. It only looks like he sees things on the surface level and makes assumptions.
@@Adi-bo5do No. Guns are a means of self-defense. It's not necessary to bring up in conversation. If Gianmarco personally knew any gun owners, he would find out that they are very much like him in many ways.
I was trying to figure out why your audience was funnier than you and you’re the supposed comedian. I learned why @11:15
Isn’t it easier just to say “im an autistic” instead of Disney adult
Hey, autistic people can hate Disney too!!
aw, you ridicule autistic people, human beings who did nothing wrong, are you proud? is it edgy?
The last 27 seconds ruined the entire set up, and I encourage you to cut it bc it makes it better. I had side splitting laughter up til 11:40 then you lost me
