More about Gianmarco:
Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022. He’s acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who’ve gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowdwork clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.🎤

fuck yeah this guy is interesting as fuck
For those who don't have reddit : " I have 4 biological siblings (so 5 total kids.) Only 3 of us have been tested. The sister that bought the tests is definitely my Dad's. My brother that tested found his bio-dad and was told that he was a former coworker of my mother's."
He seems like a really sweet guy, kinda sucks he's found himself in this situation 😢
The long as fuck url sent me
HOW TF DID YOU PICK THAT GUY OUT OF THE CROWD?!?!?!?
He made his son take a test to make sure that not being the father wasn't hereditary..
😂😂
he doesn't have those genes so he's got nothing to worry about
To be fair, it was a way of rerunning the test in case the test company screwed up while getting some new information that included his wife's ancestry.
Oh yeah. The decision to test his son is so telling of how much trauma the news gave him.
That was where the whole thing got super-Freudian
My fav part is Gianmarco sensed that wild story in that guys laugh 😂
Same! A lot of people would just be like "Hah, that guy's got a very hearty laugh"
Yeah, you're right!
wow, i had completely forgotten that part.
He was the only one clever enough to get the OJ joke 😂
yeah surprisingly you can tell a lot about a person's life by what kinds of jokes they laugh at. i've accidentally raised some questions before when i've laughed a bit too hard at certain jokes 😂
men will go to stand up comedy shows instead of therapy, and tbh what a mood
It’s cheaper and more convenient, in this economy that’s a wise choice
^ I second that. And tbh, my therapist isn’t that funny
Comedy can be therapeutic
This reminds me of his “sushi is my haircut” joke hahaha. I literally would watch that video to feel better when I was down for years.
So ..... Did the dad watch this already?
gianmarco's instincts for finding the most batshit insane story in the crowd are truly astounding

She said the whole family so I’m wondering if the mom and dad took the tests too and saw the results
@@mip4422they would have seen their own ancestry.
@@TheFansOfFictionwhich includes matching or not matching with your own children...
I think the couple could've just been swingers on the dl haha
This reminds me of that doctor who swapped in his sperm for hundreds of patients at a fertility clinic. There are hundreds of people out there who think their kid is theirs when it's not. They have no way of contacting all the people he did this too. So the only way to find out is something like this.
That is INSANE holy shit 😭 the fact that the other siblings waited for him to find out by himself instead of telling him too😭 damn
I take it they took keeping secrets from their mom's side.
Yeah, keeping informations from others That involves them is a whole family dynamic here.
Well tbh, they didn't know if he also was a side baby like the brother. It sounds like the sister is the father's child and this guy could have been as well.
@@julianoqdlol.. apparently all three of them did, because none of them are going to tell their parents what they know.
@@senojoy12473 Right, it seems like they all thought maybe they were the only one if all Ancestry told them was that their siblings were only half-siblings
6:01 "Well at least 2" is such a great punchline 😂😂😂😂
Gianmarco's crowds are really unbeaten when it comes to wit and comedic timing
But it was actually at least three... the two other guys plus the original "Dad".
I thought at that first, but then it might be that none of the children are from the dad who raised them. But two children are by the mailman and full siblings while one is by the milkman.
I’m going to the Uncasville shows and I hope he doesn’t hear or see me bc my autistic ass would forget words and be the most confusing not funny addition to his show 😂😂😂 I feel like I need to send him a mugshot and be like “black hole of fun-guaranteed bad time” 🎉😅
@@GabbyAbby First of, that mugshot is only gonna make him zero in on you and second of all guess how many interactions he has every show. Lets just say more than what we see.
One time there was a comment who asked, "How is every fan interaction so funny?"
And Gianmarco replied to the comment by saying, "its because I only upload the funny ones"
I hope that takes some of the pressure off of you. Just go out there and have fun
I’m wondering the order of the children. Was the sister after the two brothers, before, or in the middle. If the sister is the oldest somehow I think that would make it worse
That title doesn't do the story justice. That's the opposite of clickbate.
Your spelling it "bate" instead of bait made me laugh even harder 😂
It was way better!! Took me by surprise
If it did the opposite, why would you be here?

It was funny, but also showed that his mother's betrayal has affected him deeply by making him question his own wife's fidelity. Not that I blame him, the whole situation is so messed up.
@@lizziejohnson5084I really hope his wife understood and wasn’t insulted. I’d test too, my brain wouldn’t let me rest if I didn’t, regardless.

My dad told me, "Don't do one of those DNA tests. It would embarrass your mother." And I haven't stopped thinking about that since. What does he mean????
And you didn't get one immediately??
cant you...ask him??
Depending on age, either you were adopted and she's ashamed that she couldn't have kids. Or your dad isn't your bio dad and he knows it but raised you anyways for the sake of your mother and just wants to keep the peace. Or someone in your family is racist and there's something in the family tree they don't want to admit to.
It could be that your parents used either an egg or a sperm donor. Infertility used to be a super taboo topic (not that it's not anymore). If you're an adult now, your parents probably would've had lots of pressure not to talk about fertility issues with anyone, and doctors used to even make parents promise not to tell their kids they were donor conceived. If you're not sure, it could be worth taking a test or having a conversation about it with your parents, if for no other reason than to make sure your medical history is accurate.
Or he’s trolling you lol.
This audience member did an incredible job at telling his story! He divulged each little extra surprise in the perfect order and with impeccable delivery!
Right?! And gianmarco also brought it out of him perfectly and with enough humor but also sensitivity/didn’t come across as an a.hole
Man is on demon time, he got lied to by both of his siblings and his mother for years, and the way he responds to this information is by going "I'm going to join the list of people lying to my father."
He probably just doesn't want to hurt him. Clearly he loves his dad. Which is probably why he's not confronting his mum either, because then he'd have to tell his dad - then he'd be "really lying", as opposed to just shrugging it off
@@antine1279 I guess the question is: If you were the dad, would you want to know?
@@benjamingeorge8241If I was the dad I'd rather know than live my final years with a cheater, that's just me though.
Yeah, it really depends on whether you subscribe to moral relativity or absolutism. Is the right thing to tell the truth or to reduce hurt?
...Or maybe there's a relatively innocent explanation? Unlikely, buuut... I did hear of one family where the couple liked having a lot of threesomes and were embarrassed to tell their kids, even though one of them clearly had African-American ancestry while the others did not. Child confronted mom about it, only to have mom embarrassedly explain AND have dad confirm.
Reddit: [extreme family drama ensues]
Real life: Yeah we will just kinda maybe bring it up eventually, no need to rock the boat.
everything on reddit is a creative writing exercise
Honestly I hope this guy is on Reddit making updates and I hope I stumble across the full story someday 😂
I wonder if the brother or sister talked to the mom about it but didn't tell him about it
@@GabbyAbby did you at least see his AMA? Seems like a good dude
@@noodle3218 A good dude wouldn't let his Dad stay unaware that his mom is a cheater
Yo the fact that this family isn't telling each other this stuff is crazy. Theres more to their family dynamic.
They’re either really messed, or really chill.
The sister bought tests for the family. Surely the mom knew this would be revealed. Instead of mom being a cheater, let's hope there was a medical necessity for using a sperm donor (multiples) and Dad was in on it. Best case scenario even though it's still messed up they didn't say anything to the kids.
that's why they're at this standup show😂😂
@@ak062485That's the fucking thing, right? The whole family did. So the dad must have the results as well!
@@ak062485
I mean.. if she was cheating it's perfectly plausible that she had sex with her side and with her husband within a similar timeframe and then just wasn't sure.
But medical reasons would certainly be more pleasant lol
"You can put it wherever you want." He got that from his mom.
FOULLLL
You did not- 😂
LMAOO😂😂
Thats FOUL bro😂😂😂
AYO!!!😂
“Now it’s just a fun story” bro that shit is HARROWING. This man is truly unflappable if he’s so blasé about it
That's because he's not properly dealt with it
I thought he was really well adjusted until he said he made his son take a test "just to be sure". It shows that the breach of trust from his mother has undermined his ability to trust his partner. I do not blame him for this (it is an understandable reaction to this situation), but it just shows that it has affected him and he maybe has not acknowledged that.
The fact that he says “Now it’s just a fun story” shows he hasn’t properly dealt with the situation. It is very much not “Just a fun story”😭
I listen to that 'No...' following 5:24, and I can hear that he looked down. Hope this show didn't knock the scab off that wound.
@@Thunderbender18830Wait wait wait... if he's not traumatized, that means he hasn't properly dealt with it? What kind of ass-backwards logic is that?
This is actually more common than people realize. It may also be worth discussing with mom because it’s possible that his parents used sperm donors (knowingly, haha). I’ve had a number of clients who found out their biological father was someone else, but ended up that dad couldn’t have kids and the parents had used a sperm donor. But it is crazy how many parents have gotten away with never telling their child that they were adopted, had a different biological father, etc. Best that parents be honest now than have the child find out on their own through DNA testing like this guy and so many other people…
This was my first instinct as well - probably/hopefully a sperm donor type of situation 😅
I can’t imagine not talking to my parents about it though. This would eat me uppppp
@@kalliedoscope I was waiting for Gianmarco to ask that!
I just watched a documentary about this. The siblings didn't know they were all doner babies because back when their mom used a doner it wasn't legal or talked about. There was a doctor willing to do it and used college students in the medical program as donors.
@@jdugan27 it was common practice for medical students to be donors for clinics, especially in the 50s-70s. What’s been more problematic has been revealing that doctors have made themselves the donors when the parents wanted to use the father, or an ANONYMOUS donor. 😬 (Our Father is the documentary about a very prolific case.)
@@jdugan27 interesting!
Surprised no one in the comments seems to have pointed out yet that there is a super reasonable explanation that doesn't involve cheating; dad is infertile and they used sperm donors for all three kids. Given that all three siblings have different bio dads and from what the man said, they haven't confirmed even one as being biologically related to their father, I find it pretty likely.
He did not say his sister had a different father, only that the other brother had a different father. So unless we know that the sister has a different father too, seems kinda weird
@@yuanzhang7908 His brother and sister have different fathers, and he has a different father from both of them. That's three biological fathers, and their dad hasn't taken a test because otherwise he would be aware of the situation without needing to be informed. There is no actual evidence given that their father is biologically related to any of them. In fact, the man telling the story points this out when Gianmarco says that his mother had two babies that were not his dad's, saying "at LEAST two." If they knew for certain that his sister was their dad's biological child, that statement would make no sense.
There are plenty of donor babies who are now adults & were never told!
@@eleanoreliz Exactly!! And even though these days I think it's pretty well-known that best practice is honesty with a child about them being donor-conceived or adopted or whatever from a very early age, forty years ago? Noooo way.
I think this is a good theory, but if the parents knew they were going to take an ancestry DNA test then wouldn't there have been a discussion before hand because they knew they would find out regardless. Or there would have been a discussion after they found out, I don't think everyone in the family would be silent about it.
😂😂😂 That's a heavy load... went totally under the radar, wheh..

It was a heavy load, I guess.
It was very nice of Gianmarco to let that final "you can put it wherever you want" pass him by, out of decency I assume 😅

We recently found out my uncle fathered several illegitimate children. Thanks 23andMe! One of his secret kids was born just a few months apart from the baby his wife had. Both my uncle and his wife, and the other kid’s parents have all passed so we couldn’t do a fun reveal or anything.
At least there’s a happy ending- all the kids get along really well. They all have his sense of humor, even the ones who never knew him which is kinda weird. They stay in contact and are planning to meet sometime for their first sibling meet up lol.

not telling the dad is wild tho!
I had a friend this happened to!!! Same exact situation but it was with her grandma. They thought her dad was 50% italian, 50% Slovenian. Her dad was even raised in Italy by his (Slovenian) mother and (Italian) father. The test came back and they had less than 1% italian. So their grandma had another man's baby and raised it with her husband. They never told their dad though because the grandfather was long dead, and she had since remarried, and her new husband had also died.
"you can put it wherever you want" he learnt that from his mom

The way he keeps bracing himself against the wall after every twist 😂😂
You know, I'm generally against the whole "just in case" paternity testing thing, but this is the kind of traumatic circumstance where I would actually be understanding of it 😅
I'm 29, and my oldest brother just turned 40. My sister is 8 years younger than him, and our other brother one year younger than her. My brother has known for all three of our lives that we each have a different father. We were raised knowing that my oldest brother is our half brother, but were not told until last year that we ALL have different dads. My mom didn't cheat- my other siblings were born before they got married (I think before they even met?) but were still babies when they did so they were unaware. So I'm the only one of my siblings that was raised actually knowing my father. I was kinda fucked up over being lied to my whole life, but it didn't really change how I view my siblings. They're still my siblings, even if none of us share a dad.
When Gianmarco starts grabbing for the walls, shits about to go doooown
