Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.

Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

One thing for sure that Beren's acting skill is really great,
People think crying acting is easy but it's really hard and she just nailed it.
It's exhausting and mentally draining, especially when a performance is this natural. Beren did a wonderful job in making her audience feel the pain a mother feels in seeing her child dead. With some actors, you can tell it's forced, but Beren obviously let's her emotion flow to create this beautiful but heartbreaking scene.
One thing for sure that Berens acting skill is really great people think acting is easy but its really hard and she just nailed it

This gives me chills every time. Beren Saat brought to the screen the all consuming grief that accompanies losing a child. What phenomenal acting.

It kosem sultan. It is all in English subtitles if you don’t understand turkish. It’s a reality of what happend in the Ottoman Empire at the time of sultan osmaan. At this time kosem was valide sultan, meaning she was the mother of a king. She was the stepmother of Osmaan but his biological mother died when he was a baby, so kosem took care of him since death of his mother. She never treated him any different than her other children. She loved him more in fact. Later when he was a teenager his dad died and he took the throne as he was the oldest son of kosem and he was a prince so he became king. A couple of months later he got misguided by a bunch of people, and they trapped him into thinking his brother was betraying him. His brother, the boy who is dead in the episode, got executed by his command. His brothers name was mehmed and he was only 15. Meh,Ed was the blood son of kosem. This is all showing the reality of the Pittman empire and how hard it was to be the mother of princes. They could all be gone in a minute. The teenage girl who is shown is kosem s biological daughter, Ayse. And the little boys are her sons. By the way the adresses name is Beren Saat. She is a brilliant actor. 10/10 acting skills.

I've started watching the series 2 weeks ago after finishing Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Magnificent Century), this episode of Şehzade Mehmet reminds of the scenes of Şehzade Mustafa and Şehzade Bayezid, another brave Prince (and possibly favourite to the throne) taken too soon 😔 Beren Saat's standing ovation performance in this scene 👌🏻👌🏻 The nation of Türkiye 🇹🇷 has an amazing history and bringing it to the screen has made me addicted to watching all the in South Africa 🇿🇦❤️ Teşekkür ederim ❤️
