Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.
Sultan Murad IV conquers Baghdad, despite all the measures of the novices. Kemankeş appointed Mustafa Pasha as the Grand Vizier and sent him to Shah Safi.

Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

Султан Мурад решает не оставлять государство губернатору. Это уничтожит династию в случае необходимости. Затем он определяет награду, которая перейдет на трон. Позволит ли Kösem Sultan султану Мураду уничтожить династию?

Osman lost his father, killed his brother and now he has lost the only mother he knew. He deserve it at this moment even though they reconciled toward the end.
Kösem put Osman’s cradle beside her son’s, and he put her son in a coffin beside their father. What a horrible, cowardly boy. He couldn’t even bear the fault of it himself- he blamed her. He was much too weak for the throne.

It is not a situation we can understand at that moment.. We can't say it a murder or killing own son instead we say sacrifice own son...Kosem seems unhappy after Ahmed’s death and seems dead after Ibrahim's death.. In Kosem Sultan's book it is written that she sacrificed her son for the empire and Kosem Sultan's defendant Nihan Sultan said that in an interview of Kosem Sultan.. In some books it is written that Turhan was responsible for Ibrahim's death she wanted to took the place of Kosem but Ibrahim was also a mad person.. He had no ability to rule the empire but Kosem wanted to see him alive but he was killed because of some jenecerries and tenants.Kosem had no way to save him.But no mom want to kill her child.Kosem never wanted that but she couldn't save him😩I wish I could buy the Book of Nihan Sultan's Kadin pradishah Kosem Sultan..She is called Female Sultan, Valide-E-Muazzama Valide-E-Maktool Valide-E-Akbar, Valide-E-Shahida for her ability and contribution to the empire and after her death she is called Valide-E-Shahida because Turhan Sultan killed her Mother-in-law Kosem who took care of her from 3 years old, turhan was like her daughter, she loved her and did many things for her but turhan betrayed Kosem Sultan 😩
I personally just couldn't watch the show anymore after the end of season 1 where Kosem finally does away with all of the threats to her family and her power after trying so hard to compromise with them all. She finally does what she should have in my opinion by getting rid of Halime, her lunatic daughter Dilruba, Davut Pasha, those two Janissary officers (one was called kilindir, I think), Omer Efendi (who Safiye used to turn Osman against his mother and murder her son, Mehmet), Safiye herself, her arrogant son and the would-be Sultan, Iskender, and believe me, I could go on, but I think we all get the picture.
Same here. I bonded with the Anastasia and young Kosem so much that it's hard for me to watch the 2nd season. 2nd season was completely devoid of love. Everybody just hated everyone so much

I really doubt that kosem had so god relationship with osman like in tv how, that she loved him as her own son. I cannot found anny letter who said that kosem loved osman. I only read that kosem was osman´s mother. many ambassadors also said that kosem propably rise osman because of her own eldest son mehmedb8.3.1605. ambassadors also said that ahmed known ambicion of kosem. I really tried but I cannot found anny letter who said that she loved him as her own son. but I found one letter who said that afther osman II let executed mehmed kosem´s relationship to osman completely cool. in the afraid from her other sons kosem let put on throne her later son murad IV. we don´t know how many sons kosem trully had. but we know that kosem had son mehmed(definitely) murad IV, kasim Ibrahim. there is also mention about two other sons who died in young age. execpt mehmed, murad kasim,Ibrahim another two.

But upon learning Iskender's true identity and the sketch, they decided to execute him swiftly without second thoughts. On the other hand, Safiye and Halime tried to kill Ahmed's father down to his kids and wife but the heaviest punishment they received were being locked up in rooms. I understand Safiye because she's still a member of the dynasty but Halime? Tbh it should have been Halime who received punishment not poor Mustafa. He was just born in the wrong family
