Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.

Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

Yes, she protected to kill everyone. She killed Dilruba, Halime, Safyie, Osman, Murat, Ibrahim, Gülbahar, Bayazit and wanted to kill her own grandson.

Kosem raised osman since his mother died when he was a baby. Mustafa had his own mom and hurrem made them suffer so much. It could never be the same. Beside kosem had a good heart she loved osman as her own, hurrem plotted to kill mustafa from day 1.
It was the karma of Mahedeviran which she did to hurem at first and killed her son. .. if u talk about she lost things .... it was a normal thing there bcz king have many girls. And most of all mahdeviran did same to previous woman .. not to mention how many times they tried to kill hurem

Hürrem would have never ever raised Mustafa the same way Kosem did with Osman.
My belief is that it took time, but she knew it really wasn't Osman that really ordered that execution. She knew it was a trap that was long planned out and that really he was a young sultan taking on a heavy burden and easily swayed because he is so unsure.
Kosem never stopped loving him, these things enabled her to forgive him.
Thank you very much, that's what I was trying to say to so many people but they think like these cruel peasants from renaissance about Osman, that he is bad and deserves suffering, its really absurd and idiotic that so many people are so ignorant about the people they know so little about, especially russians who don't bother to read history but like to judge someone and draw quick conclusions without investigating the situation first. Most of those people who criticize Osman had no problem with Suleimans crimes against his sons, and no one called him a tyrant for breaking his promise to Hurrem that Bayezid will live, he still executed Bayezid and his sons, he promised also that Ibrahim will live.

No way, Hurrem may treat Mustafa as a random child, but not her own, not a Sehzade. And if she had brought him she would ensure that he never makes it to the throne (which she did even with Mahidevran around, the latter was too dumb and weak to fight) .

If that's so, the the indian Mughal emperors Shah Jahan, and later his son Aurangzeb wouldn't have been able to rule for almost half a century continuously, coz they had all the other princes murdered before seating on the throne, even the infants were not spared.

Even her death was shown wrong in the series. She died naturally in her coach, she didn't suicide. Since a lot of you never studied history and take there series way to seriously, I'm just going to state some facts. First of all, this serial and most of the other historical dramas are only loosely based on history. So do not believe everything that you see here. Now, Kosem was completely white-washed and sugar-coated throughout the entire series. When in reality, she was the one to influence the Janissary into killing Sultan Osman, dethrone her own son, Sultan Ibrahim and plan to kill her grandson because his mother, Turhan Sultan was a smart and ambitious lady and Kosem didn't like that. All in all, Kosem Sultan was wicked! Don't be like you know everything, only cause you've watched a couple of serials, most of which are just stinky garbage. Don't go around people saying these things like they were real. Or you'll be roasted, I assure you.
You are completely right, but I think at the beginning of all episodes it is said that it's only inspired by the facts . Obviously this is not an all rights historycal show but it's more like a soap opera so obviously it wouldn't have been this popular if all real historycal facts were in it. My objection is that a whole lot of people think all that was shown in the series, is the truth (because they have no proper education lol) and this is why I wrote this comment.
