Prince Cihangir gets in bed to die!
Cihangir grieves for Mustafa and gets off his feed. Suleiman struggles desperately for his son. Hürrem gets worried about Cihangir. Bayezid's anger for his mother doesn't cool off. Rüstem gets worried for his life and his fears come true. One of Mustafa's friends goes back to the capital to take his revenge. He surrounds Rüstem's palace with the revolters. Bayezid saves Mihrimah and Rüstem. As Cihangir's clamours surround the whole camp, Suleiman puts out of his misery. Hürrem and Suleiman gets tested with the grief of losing a child. As Hürrem gets devastated byy Cihangir's death, Suleiman tries to heal his soul. A bitter fight starts between Hürrem's two living sons to be able to ascend the throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

But Mahidevran's fate was much worse. Mustapha was executed by Sulaiman's order.

Whatever animosities you have towards Hürrem, you can't help but feel for her here. No one deserves to lose a child, especially one as young and as innocent as Cihangir. One of the most emotional scenes in the whole show, helped by amazing acting and the absence of too many words

It's raining as if the planet herself is grieving and crying because of Cihangir's death... I like they put the rain in the show, it makes his passing even more sad and dramatic
Everything that was conveyed in the looks between Selim, Bayized and Hurrem was powerful. Great acting! Very sad scene to watch.
What a powerful performance of Vahide.
At least Cihangir isn't in pain anymore. He passed away from his sad and painful life. How heart broken would Hurrem Sultan be since this is the second son to pass away.
Actually its the 3rd son who dies. First it was Prince Abdullah at very young age,than Prince Mehmed and than Prince Cihangir 😢

No matter how much Selim and Bayezid fought, their family mattered to each of them…probably excluding each other. They at least knew when to cease fire at each other to avoid breaking their family’s hearts.

Hurrem Sultana witnessed the death of 3 sons. Prince Abdullah (died at young age/Mihrimah Sultana's twin brother),Prince Mehmed and Prince Cihangir.

Very emotional scene ! especially Hurrem's first reaction was the most heart wrenching The pain of losing her child was evident in her face and eyes.
This is one of the best scenes in whole series. All 3 actors are superb and you can really feel emotions

How heart stopping this scene is. I cried and wiped my nose numerous times. Parent losing a child-not something anyone should experience. But unfortunately we do.
Every soul will taste its death so we all know the pain of losing. Just because the enemy's child was dead, doesnt mean the supposedly winner can escape from the bitter of losing own's child.
In some ways his death was a blessing in disguise because he wouldn't be included in the brutal fight for the throne

But according to this series it shown that sin always come back. At first Mahidevran killed Mehmet. Then that sin come back as Mustafa's death. In other hand Hurrem ploted Mustafa's death and that come back to her as Chihangir's death. 😢
