  • Suleiman Blames Hurrem for His Son's Death " DID YOU SLANDERED MY SON? "
Magnificent Century Watch Episode 129 👉 • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hürrem gets prepared for a bloody play!
As the time passing makes Suleiman feel more lonely, Hürrem gets in search of revenge with her sharpened rage. In the meantime, Rüstem has become the Grand Vizier thanks to the power he gets from Hürrem and Mihrimah and the politics he played. He gets prepared for a bloody play with Hürrem.
High winds between Selim and Bayezid...
The princes gather in the capital for Cihangir's sword girding ceremony. High winds bluster among the brothers who come together after years, especially between Selim and Bayezid. The fact that Mustafa has been welcomed effusively by the janissaries resonates with the palace. Rüstem doesn't hesitate to use this against the prince.
Meanwhile, a Venetian odalisque who has been presented as a gift to the palace draws attention with her beauty. This woman will change not only hers but also the destiny of the royal family.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

There’s definitely nothing else to it, like the Law of Fratricide which would’ve meant Mustafa would’ve killed Selim, Changir and Bayezid once he ascended the throne, giving Hurrem a reason to want Mustafas Death, or the Fact Mustafa literally marched on the Capital with an Army and managed to get to the palace’s entrance, or the father of the Sultan, Selim the 1st. @@emvittKasem and Ibrahim? They were not even capable to be the sultan of the empire. Putting them in the line for the throne is both toxic for the empire, and a stupid decision in itself. Bayezid deserved to be the sultan as much as Murad. But Bayezid's time would have come, if he directly rebelled, or waited for his chance to come. Murad IV was a great sultan, his strength, his intelligence, his wit, everything was just absolutely excellent. He was a hot blood, which might have made him to take some not nice decisions. It’s true he didn’t believe the letter hurrem made from Mustafa, but he did believe the coup mustafas army was planning, which is the very reason a prince doesn’t have his own army while the sultan is alive, mustafa knew this but still allowed them to stay with him and even payed them for their loyalty instead of sending them to his father as he was supposed to, that wasn’t hurrems fault or plan, and the fact that mustafa didn’t understand that what he was doing looked wrong was a very big fault in his character

He was also insecure about his position on the Throne as there was a family history of his own father Sultan Selim 1 seizing power and dethroning Suleiman's own Grandfather Bayezid II . With Shehzade Mustafa being so popular with the Jannissaries and the local population , Sultan Suleiman was paranoid that history would repeat itself and Mustafa would do the same to him by seizing power and dethroning him just as his own father Selim 1 had done to his own father Bayezid II. Suleiman saw Mustafa as a threat to Hurrem's children and he thought killing one son will save the lives of others. So he didn't care much to prove his innocence.

I love her response for many reasons. One, her reference to a shadow says she cannot move unless he moves. She would be squashed if he wanted it, ever. Mustafa’s death wasn’t just because of Hurrems slander. It was because Suleiman was threatened by him. Two, Suleiman loved HER as much as he loved power, and she had 5 children by him. Their empire however loved Mustafa. And whether he would have ordered the death or his brothers or not when he took the throne, it would ultimately still cause chaos and division amongst the empires peopleand likely result in more deaths. Suleiman knew what had to be done if he chose Hurrem. Hurrem was aware her children’s lives depended on her alliance with Suleiman. Thirdly, to say no one is sinless under this roof was so true. Hurrem was a powerful woman because she was ruthless to everyone but her own family. She was wrong on so many levels, but what she said was the truth. She would always want what he wants, which was to be with him and their children to stay alive.

As far as the remaining deaths, that was always destined since only one son can remain so no threat exists to the reigning Sultan. I am not convinced Selim was the best one to inherit the throne but the way they played it out on the tv show, he was the only one that Suleiman felt he could trust. Keep in mind that we as the audience were privy to information that Suleiman did not have. I think Bayezid would have made a decent ruler but that is not how history records it. In all honesty, the best man typically is not the ruler because the things needed to secure the throne are typically not honorable or just.

Its funny to see how some people in the comment section blame hürrem.she never started the war and Ibrahim wasn't loyal at all, if he could have, he would have took the place of Suleman. He always had fantasies about people bowing down or kneeling in front of his memorial. He lied multiple times to Suleman and the only reason he came so far at the end was because of The marriage he had.
IF thats what u call loyal 😅i don't know what else to say

He was prideful because he had even given his life to protect Suleiman. But he never imagined to betray sultan. Don't you blockheads know. Whome Suleiman calle before dying? Ibrahim n not hurrem. What a tight slap. Vaginas can blind men only for sometime. Real love n friendship always outshines

@@nabilarahman180 No? She didn't 'destroy the Ottoman empire' and that claim is bad enough and just pseudohistory. But OP said ALL EMPIRES. So I guess they think she ended the Roman and Mongol empires too. Somehow.

"the king of the kings" has zero responsibility and accountability, typical. First of all he's responsible for everything he does not anyone else, secondly, hurrem still had a reason they forced women to fight for their children's lives, what do u expect. Suleiman had no reason, he was paranoid, power hungry and insecure of his own son. Mustafa was loved and suleyman was old, there never had been a case in ottomans when the ruler is so old that his son already has grown a full beard. Suleiman was selfish, killed his competent son and wanted to rule while he's greying for the sake of power, he's literally not competent in this age, one foot in grave and he's out here killing competent heirs as if he doesn't have maximum 5 years left on this earth

Sulieman considered mustafa a direct rival to his throne and a threat so he eliminated him . Everythjng else is irrelevant. There is a reason why Sulieman prefered selim as an heir to everybody else because he wasnt taken seriously by the army and was non threatening to Sulieman
