  • Suleiman Takes Everything From Mahidevran "NOT A SINGLE COIN WILL BE LEFT!"
Watch Episode 129 👉 • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hürrem blames Suleiman embittering the fight between Selim and Bayezid. As Bayezid chases up the ones who has set a trap for him, Selim gets worried that he'll get disclosed. Suleiman confiscates Mahidevran's wealth because she has supported the revolt. Hürrem brings Selim to account after she learns that he has set the trap for Bayezid. Meanwhile, Fatma plays Nurbanu and Huricihan off against each other and turns the harem upside down. Suleiman orders that Kara Ahmed will be executed since he has taken up the revolt. Someone witnesses Gazanfer's love for Nurbanu that causes to be shed blood. Hürrem takes a vow to not to choose between his sons and chooses her nominee for throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

ATTENTION! Mahidevran’s relatives are spreading lies on Mahidevran HATUN, trying to make Princess and Haseki out of her. Don’t listen their lies and READ HISTORY. Mahidevran’s grandchild contacted historians to make them change history, but his lies were debunked, as he didn’t have FACTS confirming his words. Later he contacted NataliaAnrepp and paid her to write lies on Hurrem and Mahidevran. Natalia’s lies were also debunked ny all historians.

For example when she tried to poison hurrem while hurrem was eating with the sultan. By law placing poison anywhere near the sultan could have had her beheaded

Those who are blaming Mahidevran will never understand her pain. You can't judge her just based on tv series. History shows that she had nothing to do with Hurrem's childrens' death and had no one except her son Mustafa. Some say the whole city heard Mahidevran's crying after her son's death. Well, who wouldn't, afterall, no mother gives birth to a child to see him being killed by his own father.

Suleyman didnt want Selim as well he was unhappy with his life because of what he did to his family and Mihribah was sad af too since her beloved brother got killed by her drunk brother. She got mehmet killed since she knew that if mehmet was left to live..the throne rightfully would have gone to him only
She kept poisoning mustafs mind since his childhood day ..thereby provoking him against his father often ..finally led to his death

    • @DR-bp1yu
      @DR-bp1yu Před 11 měsíci +5

In my opinion they were both victims trying to survive a horrible situation. Both enslaved, both dealt a nasty hand with a little "love the sultan" sugar. Mahidevran hated and humiliated Hurrem on sight and from day one. But that was because of the situation she had been placed under, forced to get used to "her" man not being hers. Valide was eager to put her down until Hurrem proved more vivacious than was comfortable for her ego and precious "order."
As for Mahidevran, she hated Hurrem for taking Suleyman while Gulfem never crossed her mind, but she "did" the same to her ( Gulfem) as Hurrem "did" to her. I say "did" because in reality none of them could have refused even if they wanted to. Valide was just as vicious and played them against each other. Even Hatice who was angelic turned vicious. Why? Because in a system like that you grow fangs or you withered into oblivion like Gulfem.
What kind of life is that? Gulfem, she had been the first, the mother of Suleyman's first child, but when that child died no one cared about her and she quickly faded and was little more than a servant, mostly ignored. When she told Hatice about wanting to die and knowing no one would even notice she wasn't there I ugly cried. And Mahidevran dared hate Hurrem? And Hurrem dared hate anyone who may in turn displaced her? Gulnihal? The only real friend she ever had? Yes, that's the way it was.
The 2 did their best, as did them all , servants, princes and princesses. And concubines too. Even Suleyman's situation was untenable in many cases. His mother referenced the wholesale killing of his siblings by his father and the constant fear that he may himself be executed. Then as a Sultan Padisha he was out of his depth, trying to be different, fair, not make his father's mistakes, but with every intrigue in his palace inching closer to becoming his father. And small wonder! Everyone there was attempting manipulate him, or to maneuver to position themselves where they could best manipulate him for their benefit. As for Hurrem at first I felt sorry for her, but then she turned just as vicious and cruel as Mahidevran and the Valide. Had they not been forced to compete like this, they may have been great friends, they were so alike in many ways. Hurrem was simply a little smarter and more strategic. But also just luckier. How many times was she at the edge? I pity them all, regardless of the wealth and influence they may have enjoyed, not one person in that palace could ever truly have peace. Always having to watch your back is a horrible way to live I know. Worse if you were ripped away from your people, your country your religion and forced into this world were you had no real value. Even the nobility, supposedly not enslaved, were slaves to the system and its mechanisms. We see these in the British Royal family even today. Frankly, it's a wonder they all managed to get as far as they did sane. Both the Ottomans and the British crown. Power over people has a steep price.

I understand if she's jealous, Hurrem was too. But she shouldn't do anything sbout it. She hated Hurrem so much that she tried to kill her. Would she have acted the same if It was somebody else other than Hurrem? So after she hit Hurrem causing her major injuries when she lost her child, which was not Hurrem's fault but her own, Sukeyman told her he does not want to see her anymore. But Hurrem did the same to other women?! Like her friend Gulnihal, she burned her face and almost killed her. And she slapped Isabella, stalked her, harassed her, tried to kill her on at least two different times(with the venomous snake and infecting her with the plague), and then kidnapped her. Is that any different from what Mahi did? Are we supposed to side with Hurrem because she is the main character? It's just infuriating

Hatred, greed ,jealousy are human traits.
In all fairness, Mahidevran too had these traits. But she was not alone on this planet to have these traits.
I wonder why you left Hurrem out. I think Hurrem too was greedy. She did attack many women whom Sulaiman courted.
And above all, Hurrem was manipulative. Not to mention ruthless too.
Mustafa was not an ordinary young man. He was the eldest son of a reigning Sultan. That made him the strongest claimant to the throne.
And being the strongest claimant to the throne courted many enemies, naturally.
In one scene,Ibrahim went to Mustafa's chamber and literally dragged Mustafa from the latter's bed and insisted on Mustafa"s going to Friday prayer
Mustafa ,being shot blooded young man actually did not realise the implication of his not going to Friday prayer.
He was young and underestimated the threat to his life ,position.
In one scene, Mahidevran reminded him that the revival of naval base need an explicit approval of the Sultan .
Mustafa meant well. Only he did not see that his action of reviving the naval base to counter Portuegese threat would be viewed As mounting a challenge to Sultan's authority.
Again in all fairness, Sulaiman was ruthless to Mahidevran. He forgot that Mahidevran gave birth to his eldest living son.
Having a son strengthened his position in royal court.
Well this is history. I am quite sure that should Sulaiman live again( hypothetical) he would not have killed Mustafa.
He would be merciful to Mahidevran. He would spare his son's life out of respect to Mahidevran.
Remove Mustafa from throne, maybe. But spare his life in respect to the memory of Mahidevran.
Both Mahidevran and Hurrem suffered. Mahidevran lost everything in this cruel game of rhrone.
But Hurrem suffered too. Her slander against Mustafa also took Cihangir's life.
But not importantly, the death of Mustafa intensified the deadly rivalry between Beyazid and Selim.
Hurrem was punished by living to witness the rivalry. She knew one would them would be killed eventually.
With Mustafa not in picture, both Selim and Beyazid felt threatened by each other.
      And what a poetic justice.
In one breathtaking scene, Hurrem bowed to amahidevran and sought her forgiveness
Here ,a Sultana who won the decade old game of throne finally bowed to her chief rival who lost practically everything in her life.

What “dignity and self respect” can she really have when all she ever was and continued to be was someone’s side chick? Finaly show Mahidevran became stronger as she reassure Nergissah in a very touching way.
In history it was Sah - the granddaughter probably the least fortunate - who was forced to marry ( it seems that she was not happy for this wedding , understable as she didn't contest that Mihrimah and Suleiman forbade all signs of happiness in her wedding because of Bayezid death but on this other way she couldn't said anything as she has nothing against her grandfather if she want to fight him the consequence would be disastrer for her, her mother and her grandmother) but she die young maybe giving birth to her only daughter. I always wondering what she was thinking by seing Suleiman and Hurrem and vice versa. Nergissah never have children to her husband. One - Sah- is dead before her grand mother and there is a probabilty of her other grandaughter too die before Mahidevran. Could you imagine how hard was her life? I won't survive in her place but yet she she managed to live to be 81 a feat
    - but it could be a curse because at this time if you live until this years you have the risk to survive to your childrens and maybe your grandchildrens-. That's one of the reason I consider the historical Mahidevran very brave.
Suleiman both in history and show horrible to her ( in the show he didn't want to know her version just like her son and in history it was because he blame her for the death of Mustafa). Thanks Selim to do the right thing and repare the mistake of your father.
But what I don't like is that in the show it's more about remorse for what he did in the rebellion (and this heroizes Bayezid) while in the history he took risks for her as he circumvented Suleiman's ban by helping her ( it could have gotten him in trouble).

Let's be honest, to what I see, Mahidevran was at fault for the death of Mustafa because if she hadn't fked around with Hurrem this wouldn't have happened but even so we all know Mustafa was indeed the Heir and if Mahi would become the Valide, and so on, Hurrem would be in danger aswell as her children, even so if Mustafa were to defend his brothers , being the bad idea Mahidevran to be the Valide, she would soon get what she wants, which is Hurrem's suffering and aswell for the other heirs aka the Princes ,but just like one episode where Haseki Hurrem Sultan said "I wish you were my son" to Mustafa proves she never had any anger building up from Mustafa and all that she worried about was all Mahidevran, Mustafa aswell never had wanted this things to happen,If Mahidevran had never showed or said all those kind of drama to Mustafa maybe Mustafa would never have been forced to actually also see Hurrem as an enemy, Mahidevran went all crying to Mustafa accusing Hurrem on things that she fricking started!,And ofcourse being Mustafa OFCOURSE He would believe his mom, what I'm trying to say is Mahidevran started the game and Hurrem had to end the game in any way, she did this all for her children's sake, she had to wash blood from her hands, she had to be merciless, she had to sin on SO many kinds of things, therefore again Mahidevran did this ALL to herself and to his son, she was the reason for the death of her own son, she was the reason for the torment for her son,and aswell she is the reason for the deaths and incidents, many people trusted her and liked her just like Valide, she liked her and so she defended Mahidevran and decided to join the game because of all Mahidevran's drama then guess what Valide died, then there goes all other victims of Mahidevran's games, thou many people might disagree with my point of view and this comment might start a war of disagreement I reccomend that if you disagree with me just leave this comment be ,I don't need or we don't need no drama or anything we all have different sides, for me I side on Hurrem or maybe in some case I side on no one but If I have to really choose I would choose Haseki Hurrem Sultan.

Never heard Mahidevran was generous to the poor when she in her last gold coins would give it away for the people. When she would starve for the making of Mustafas grave and paying her servants. If the rebels are the sultan’s poor people, the government may be messed up. Why would HIS PEOPLE rebel against him in the first place tho. Mahidevran surely wouldn't care if they are Suleimans rebelled people. Would you care about ur baby daddy after he has killed Ur son? Absolutely, Who cares!
I'd go with Bayezid thoughts about here too. Because I have not seen 1 episode in where Mahidevran was a helping hand to the rebellion. 😅 Either mustafa who was framed. Changing history is a different turn.
But I love how easy is Suleiman to believe without diving in the document 😂 without opening without reading 💁 Shows how easy he is to be manipulated, you only will need communication skill & strategy. How could I wonder he has been a controllable tool to ibrahim & hurrem 😂

I don't blame Hurram who played a crucial role in Mustafa being deprived of his rightful claim to the throne and later death . But Sultan Suleiman and his greed for power and blindness to his probable true love which led the beginning of the empire's end .

I have empathy for her yes, she was trying to keep her son alive just like Hurrem was. But her interest in keeping her son alive also made her act more rash; she was quick to act or speak first then think about the consequences later. Like poisoning Hurrem at the sultans own table, that alone could have been seen as a threat to the sultan and would have had her killed if Ibrahim hadn’t protected her. She always blamed Hurrem for making her rash and she later acknowledged that Suleiman made her rash too. She blames them for her downfall and just from listening to her conversation just now with Atmaca she still won’t admit that her rash decision played a part in her losses too. The whole thing is just sad and I blame the ottoman infanticide policy for it

    • @nicolettetallmadge3254
      @nicolettetallmadge3254 Před 6 měsíci +1

I have some empathy for her because she had to navigate in a pretty brutal system. My exasperation about her is because of her recklessness, lack of reflection, and blind hatred of Hurrem. When Hurrem came to the palace, Mahidevran had everyone's support and she had it for a LONG time while Hurrem had to fight and scrape for supporters for years after. Mahidevran was not wise about how to use that support to her advantage. She should have made it her business to at least keep Sulieman's respect as the mother of his eldest son, even if she couldn't keep his love and full attention. She broke that respect early by her treatment of Hurrem and her subsequent behavior did little to bring it back, even when she had the chance to. And she had multiple chances to. She also should have kept her son strictly out of harem politics instead of trying to use him as a threat against Hurrem. All she did was put a great big target on his back.
Hurrem was also reckless in the beginning, but she also learned from her mistakes and acknowledged that she made them. And even though Mahidevran remained a thorn in her side for years, she learned how to calibrate her response to her. Mahidevran never learned this, she seldom acknowledged her mistakes and rarely learned from them and it's frustrating to watch.
