I met Nancy a few months ago for the first time and although I am definitely NOT a public crier, tears of gratitude flowed from my eyes as tried to express my thankfulness for the influence of her ministry and even more so the impact her life has had upon me.
Almost 20 years ago my Mom got me her little booklet "Singled Out For Him." I own many of her books, but now at the age of 34 (and still single) that first little book is still a treasure to me. It is a reminder of the faithfulness of God in her life and also in mine.
I know it's hard to limit yourself to just 10 books, but I'm surprised Leslie Ludy's "Authentic Beauty" or "Set Apart Femininity" didn't make your list. They were probably the most influential to me along with Harris' "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" and anything and everything by Elisabeth Elliot. :)

I would also reccommend the Christy Miller series for those who are just beginning their spiritual journery its also really good for highschool girls (relationships, friends, family etc.) Really a life changing series.
I adore those! There are the SIerra Jensen books after, Christy and Todd the Colleges Years, Katie Weldon series, and Christy and Todd the Married Years after! There are also some other stand alones sprinkled here and there, but all these series are with the same characters basically.

"Through Gates of Splendor" by Elisabeth Elliot is a must read! I am currently reading it now and cannot recommend it enough. "The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozer is also excellent!!

Two of the books that impacted my view of relationships are The Sacred Search by Gary Thomas and Chastity is for lovers by Arleen Spenceley. They really helped me to think about purity (what it is and why it is important) and how to approach dating

The book The Chase by Kelsey and Kyle Kupecky is absolutely AMAZING. I have read it multiple times and it offers both a girl and a guys perspective on christian dating. It is geared towards teenagers with real stories of high school life while being a Christian

My favourite Christian book is None Like Him by Jen Wilkins...so often am I focused on me, me, me but this book reeeally brings GOD into focus, reading it I can't help but feel a sense of awe and have really begun to deepen my fear of the Lord, I highly recommend it! It's so grounded in God's Word and is targeted to women as well :)
i ve just read the book "praying for your future husband" and i can recommand it. its soo good and helped me a lot!!
I absolutely loved "When God Writes Your Love Story". It definitely changed the way I look at relationships.
I love the Ludy's books in general.
For younger/newer Christian giris, I recommend"a young woman's guide to discovering her bible" by Elizabeth George.

I highly recommend the Elsie Dinsmore series. It's for children but I recommend it for everyone.

One of my favorite books is "What God Really Thinks Of Women" it goes through the women God used in the Bible and how in the Old Testament women weren't treated the greatest because of the fall and not because the Lord wanted women to be second. It's such a great book! 10/10

I just saw your comment and you said that you're a bookworm, and so am I! So, I just wanted to recommend a series that I absolutely love. It's not really about advice or the type of books they recommend, it's actually fiction, but it's gonna help you so much. It's called Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. I loved it!!! You should read it:) I love reading so much, so if you want any recommendations, I'm here:)

Some good suggestions for my wife and daughter no doubt. But why no apologetics books? We need to get more women into having an answer for their faith.
I was thinking something similar - I do read books like this on occasion - they're light and they're often encouraging, but they're not calling the reader deeper. Hope people will take a look at e.g. the writings of the Puritans or others who have written deeper looks into God, the Bible, truth....
One I would really recommend is called "Aunt Jane's Hero" By: Elizabeth Prentiss. This one's older, but o profound in how to view one's relationship with God, and significant others/spouses, tragedy, and how a mature Christian heart should look.

I really love the heart of Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. While I'm not a woman, her broadcasts challenges me to live my life according to the will of God, even when it's hard at times.
Btw, the two books I listed are by Christian authors.

If you ask for forgiveness, God will forgive you. But don't get into the whole Catholic Church lie. They worship saints,Mary and angels. Just focus on God and ask him to show you the truth, fill you with the Holy Spirit and save you from your sin. And pray and read the Bible.„Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.“

Laura J Catholics do not worship or pray to anyone besides God. We ask Mary and the saints to pray to God for us, as we would ask our friends and family. We believe they can play a role in helping us as they are closer to the Lord than we are. Catholics are Christians (in fact they were the first Christians) and we worship Christ the King.

Why outside the Bible? Reading the Bible with some serious thinking is essential for everyone but especially for every Christian. The Bible is absolutely the best fiction work to read. If thinking while reading it you'll get some really amazing information that will transform your world view and help you...if you have a bit of common sense of course.
The two books I would suggest are "Love and Respect: the love she most desires, the respect he desperately needs" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and "The Peaceful Wife" by April Cassidy. They are good books for women who plan to get married or are married. I read them and found them helpful in my own life.
