I am almost 28 and still single. In fact, I have never had a boyfriend and have been very rarely asked out. But I am at a point that God brought me to, where I want to live solely for God and others and, if He someday grants me someone, I will be grateful. And I only want who He wants because His plans are perfect.

This is so great! What I love about your two is how you're so honest. It's so true that we feel like complaining about being single, but you're so right that that's telling God that he doesn't know what he's doing! And I LOVE your point about mixing with generations, I think there's often a real disregard for older people as we think we know it all. But old people are so wise and amazing to spend time with. Maybe you could do a whole video on that one time. We need to stop this generational divide because we need that biblical model of the older person pouring into the middle person and the middle person pouring into a younger person. We don't get that much nowadays but I think it's really precious. Great job ladies! :)

I find it really refreshing to have the perspective of both a single woman and a married one looking back on her single years. There are moments I feel lonely and can't wait to get married, but videos like these remind me to make the most of my singleness. Our season of singleness really can be a huge blessing if we seek after God and enjoy this time.
Tiffony Pinaire trust me as some one that's in her late 30s enjoy that peace that your single. So many think "well once I get married I won't be so lonely" couldn't be further from the truth. Lots of people that shouldn't be married are miserable w the fact they got married. Only time will tell if its meant to be.

I don't think she was joking. Not all of us are called to marriage. What she's saying is that she doesn't know if it is God's will that she does get married.
Tatiana Wood If it's a desire in her heart then it sure is God's will for her and He will fulfill it.
"Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart." -Psalm 37:4
I don't mean to be mean, but just because it is a desire in your heart, doesn't mean that it's God's plan. I met a wonderful woman who was almost 80 and never married. She was engaged and wanted to marry, but went through something as a young woman and was forever debilitated in this life and was unable to marry. But all she could do is praise God and thank Him for her life and said this must have been His will. :)
EmbyrHope Yes everyone's timing and situation is different, but I do believe if God placed it on your heart He will fulfill it, and we can rest in that. Not knowing this women's situation, there could be different factors that could play into it. Sometimes even lessons we have not yet learned before Him moving us into the next season.
smythisback1 Well pure desires, if you know the desire to be married is in your heart there is a reason it's there. Yes, definitely not all at once. Some people have to go over the same mountain multiple times before learning what the Lord is trying to teach them.

What ever I do with my life it will and can't I couldn't cope, if I had to work out side the home and go to college.
Being single doesn't mean being miserable! There are many fulfilling ways and relationships to be had even -even!- when single
so. I was just asked out today. I didn't know what to say because I am 13. I didn't want to date in middle school because it is to prepare for marriage and I have seen so many relationships crash and burn in middle school. but. the boy who asked me out is really nice and funny. I know he is a Christian but I don't know how far he is in his walk of faith. I really don't know what to say to him. help!
Ashley girl, you are so much more mature than I was at 13! What an amazing young woman of God (': it's unlikely you'll meet your husband in middle school and even high school but pray about it! I would definitely recommend being friends with him and getting to know him better without being in a relationship just yet. Hangout with him and your families and just remember to pray and god loves you soooo much and as long as you're honoring him and loving him with all your heart don't worry about the rest too much. Praying for you sweetie!!

A suggestion for the first top. Stop complaining about being single, and instead, find a way to be happy for your married friends.

2. Speak words of gratitude
3. Get outside of yourself
4. Get the bigger picture
5. Surround yourself with young and old people
6. Commit to growing
