At 6:02 actually I've met very few people who actually have "thriving" marriages. I'm not going to say this marriage is bad but, people are really good at pretending like they have it all together. But we do have a 50% divorce rate for a reason. Think about that for a minute, over 50% of people have dysfunctional marriages and decide to divorce. This doesn't even include the number of dysfunctional relationships in this country. The reason I'm saying all this is because, I've met plenty of people, who from the outside look like there marriage is going great but on the inside, the marriage is failing. Bless you and your ministry.
r3ndering that's because God wasn't really the focus. I've been married for almost ten years and no it's not perfect but it is amazing!
There are reasons for failed marriage though. 1) treating it like it's an option for little things. 2)looking for better options. 3)marriages portrayed as you will never fight, you'll never plateau in your marriage, that you'll never have feelings for others. You have to choose to stay married and realize you wont feel in "love" everyday. Grass always looks greener. 4) respect. Mutual respect. 5) women pushing their husbands. I cant tell you how many women I know that wont let guys have mens night ect. 6) men being told and shown they arent equally responsible for kids, even SAHM need breaks and help in the house.
