I have brown skin and I used to hate it! I always wanted to be very pale white. But I have now learned to love my skin and I realized that God designed me the way I am for a reason and I am beautiful in his sight.

love the skin you are in. It doesn't matter if you're pale or tan. whatever skin color. ( in or not. ) You are all beautifully unique. We are all beautiful in God's eyes. Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

I am super pale too and I recognize your entire story of trying to get a tan to "be prettier", and getting super burned. It hurt so badly and it was awful, that I now just accept my white skin as the way God created me and I think it's what makes me unique! :) I love this video so much!

I have the exact same thing on my calves!! My calves were so burnt my ankles were swollen and 8 years later I still have dry skin on my shins 😭

Amen. A woman who loves Jesus and confidently lives out God's word, is the most beautiful type of woman in the world.
I have naturally blonde hair and blue eyes, and I used to believe that I would be perceived as more beautiful, smart, worthy, etc. if I had brown hair and brown eyes. So I would dye my hair brown all the time and wear really dark makeup. In reality, people loved natural look. In fact, I was voted "Best eyes" for senior superlatives! Thank you for the inspiration!
Well, that's better than being bullied for having straight black hair and black eyes and basically looking Asian in a sea of blondes and brunettes
