In this video im trying out the new enjoywood pocket hole jig and testing the extraction function on it.
Im putting up againts its rival, the Trend pocket hole jig with no extraction.
The results are quite interesting!!

I've had my Kreg gig for a very long time and it had the extraction port on it. but I never use it. Hooked it up for this current job and I love it. it works and all of the dust and drill chips are taken away and the table and floor are totally clean.

Trend Pro version comes with dust extraction that also works very well indeed. Cost more but worth it for me 😉
I bought one through amazon a week ago. the clamping mechanism will not open past about 22mm in the clamping position so I cannot clamp a 2x4 into it. the email on the box is a dead end. sent message to company through amazon but not response in several days. Great idea. something is keeping the screw from going into its sleeve. I'll try to replace it once, if that doesn't turn out well then I'll move on. Company address is UK but made in China.

Ahh thats strange, im not sure how wide they are meant to open to be fair, is it a fault where it just wont unscrew?
Yes get it swapped over... I still think its an amazing piece of kit and I still use it :-)
But I use it for sheet material up to 25mm thick.

I sent it back and received another one which seems to operate as expected
Kreg version with extraction is excellent,all dust and debris is removed and that's just with a cheap Aldi vacuum.
You should have pointed out that Trend do a version with an extraction port. Proves a point though
Yes, I bought the Trend Pro Pocket Hole Jig with dust extraction and connected to my Makita cordless vacuum does a very clean job
Your vac is blocked or full 😉
Nope it was completely empty, it's just sucking through very small holes at the jig 👍👍🙂
