We at Eurovision Hub have no intention to offend or upset anyone with the content we provide so the clip has been removed to maintain true to the spirit of the contest and our channel.
Our reaction videos aim to show a diverse variety of opinions from reactors all over the world, and sometimes these opinions may be different to yours. "a ballad will never win eurovision"
except in 2019, 2017...
i mean we italian had
jazz 2011 (didn't win)
ballad 2013 (didn't win)
opera 2015 (didn't win cause of jury vote otherwise...)
rap 2019 (didn't win)
WE GOT IT. We will never win, it's ok, really :D at least we have the guts to sing in our own language. It's eurovision, not englishvision.
and btw "spaghetti"? seriously? That's very rude, didn't expect something like this IN THIS CHANNEL.
Peace and love.

Diodato's revenge at Eurovision 2022! The best performance of the evening.
oh my, i cannot believe more than half of these reactors find this song boring! Does every song in Eurovision have to be upbeat and poppy? It's a song contest, not a pop contest.
I don’t think it’s necessarily that every song has to be upbeat but unfortunately sometimes a song has to be listened to a couple of times before enjoying it and this is our first time hearing the song so mixed opinions could always change, also I included that I maybe found it a little more boring because I can’t understand the wonderful language (which is completely on me) but at the end of the day we are here to react, good or bad but I think Italy will still do very well in the contest :)
@@rachelesc6981 I don't but I enjoy this song more than any other song I make me feel emotional I just find some of these people who react have a really awful taste of music
Well said, Kent.
I'm so tired of everyone wanting upbeat and thrashy songs, always complaining about the more sentimental ones.
I'm sorry , but this song it's a big masterpiece. ❤
It is.
As an Italian, I can say, it is much more important for our artists to win the Sanremo Festival than to win Eurovision.
For us Italians, our festival has a greater importance than Eurovision. I don't mean that winning Eurovision is not important, but Sanremo is more important! After all, without the Sanremo Festival there would not even be Eurovision! : P

That's a traditional Italian love song such as have been in the charts for decades on the continent, laurence was just a pale Eurovision counterfeit of Gavin James?
I'm all for non European reactors but at least a modicum of knowledge on our music should be a minimum thanks. This isn't the blasted superbowl or a night out in your favourite club but a seventy years old music contest, of all countries and all sorts.
I'm not Italian but I would be raging at some of the ignorant comments. Well done Italy, for not sending some boring europop yet again and doing it YOUR way.

@@micheleferretto7079 it's true

@@AntonGrey8 They can not give the right motivation, they're just there trying to get some views...
I'm Italian and proud of this song. Diodato explained the lyrics of this song and dedicated it to his city Taranto, which in Italy is practically the cradle of death and lives sacrificed because of the steel mills that destroyed a wonderful city. this song came at a perfect time, at a time when Italy needed hope. we screamed it, sung from the balconies and plant in silence. Diodato represents the classic Italian music that breaks your heart and I am sorry if more than someone finds this song boring, but ladies and gentlemen I cannot not listen to it without crying. Music is emotion. a wonderful voice. and we hope that after the highly deserved success of last year with the great mahmood we will be in the top 3 again. ♥ ️

So if it ain't trap, or has a big beat, or britney spears shows alike it means it's boring? I certainly doubt your taste and preparation in music guys.
San Remo is the national song contest and not a selection for Eurovision
Actually it is currently ALSO a selection for ESC. You can not say it is "NOT a selection".
@@micheleferretto7079 the only difference is that the winner can choose whether to go to ESC or not

Guys, try to understand something, song contests like Sanremo (Italy), Festivali Këngës (Albania) have nothing to do with Eurovision, they select the winning song for their own country, their own culture, not to get a "representer" for a commercial show like Eurovision. In my opinion, they should change the way how to select their " representer" for Eurovision, like selecting Eurovision fan favourite or selecting televoting winner as a Eurovision representer. In addition, both Sanremo and Festivali i Këngës have more history and appreciation for real art than Eurovision.
You have my respect for your pictures profile, I love british cat xD
Well said.
Totally agree !
No they shouldn't. What's thy point of having a EUROPEAN contest if everyone sends the same electro Swedish rubbish?
Italy doesn't select songs for Esc, it's the winner of Sanremo representing our country. Sanremo is a 70 yrs old songs competition for which singers aim to compete to have visibility. I think we should have a different selection for Esc. Maybe in the future, for now it's Sanremo. Ok, it's a ballad and it will never win but Diodato deserved visibility. He's so humble, well educated and well mannered, never too loud. He deserved this rumore that is noise in English
No we need sanremo to always select. They pick the best songs!!
You can love or hate the song, but, in my opinion, the most important thing is be respectful. Some reactors were really rude and disrespectful. This is unacceptable for me. A big dislike
One thing I noticed in general, is how people lament they can't feel a song because they don't know what he is speaking about... I mean, I could grow attached to an english song even before I could speak it, there are a lot of things that make a song, not simply the words. I mean, I get not liking a song, but not so much not liking because you don't understand the words because you can just google it. It just says you're used to everything being catered to you and you can't step out of your little box.
Totally agree! This song goes straight to the heart even if you haven't googled the lyrics before listening to it. That's the power of good music. I'm Spanish, I don't speak Italian and it was really emotional for me. Then, I googled the lyrics and I loved it even more, of course! Thank you, Italy, for always trying to bring quality to Eurovision.
Excellent observation, Rossella.
Next time Norway will bring a song in their native language to ESC they will be entitled to make a joke about Italy's entry. Sorry, not sorry.
Spanish guy: "This song is perfect for Eurovision...1999"....Spain that in last years score more laughter than points ahahah
Tell to norvegian "youtubers" that Sanremo exist before than ESC and the song is not chosen every year only for ESC as the entire europe. Go to fish salmons and bring it to us!
I'm sorry about that, you're right. There are a lot of Spanish people loving this song and I personally envy Italy for the quality you bring to Eurovision (and for your amazing results, of course! "Envy" in a good way). More sooner than later you'll win, for sure! Remember which country Spanish people voted in the first position last year. ;) Greetings from Spain!
@@JuliaAntonio-aprendizdeamelie love to Spain from Italy

If this song was performed not by Diodato but by, for example, Coldplay it would be played in all the radio stations in the world for months
Giuseppe Mazzola Exactly
So true. The song is stunning
Gosh, most of you that think this is boring.... your opinion but this goes straight in the soul...And there is nothing more beautiful than that
and I WANT TO CLARIFY ONE THING ONCE FOR ALL:
Sanremo is not a Eurovision selection but it's our (Italian) national music contest and it was created YEARS before the Eurovision so we don't choose a song thinking about the Eurovision, a lot of people even don't know what it is. Sanremo it's a long tradition, 70 years
Well only a part of what you said it is correct in my opinion. Sanremo is not a eurovision selection but we send an artist THROUGH this contest so we must ensure to think about Eurovision while voting or create another contest only for eurovision. I reckon that saying things like "we select the song for the italian public" is quite posh and not really good. Moreover, nowadays people in italy are well aware of eurovision so this thing has to come to an end. I personally voted also thinking about eurovision and the jury vote in sanremo as well as the public one should consider it while voting.
@@ariannavalentinadelgaudio3951 RAI's approach using Sanremo to select a Eurovision act is quite different. First of, it cannot force its participants to consider going to Eurovision via the songfest, nor have them abide by standard Eurovision rules such as having to stick to a three-minute rule with their songs and such. Eurovision itself is an afterthought for most Sanremese artists until they are approached by the broadcaster if they consider taking part. There have been cases throughout its participation history where RAI either foregoes Sanremo completely and internally select a song and/or artist (2012, 2014), or select a Sanremo finalist if the winner declines going to ESC (2016).
And it's because of that approach that we get a lot of good songs every year from young emerging Italian artists and established ones. And that is courtesy of Sanremo as a brand institution. In contrast, its fellow Big 5 countries that do national selections to find a song FOR EUROVISION have a hard time getting talented singers and songwriters to take part s if they are avoiding the plague.
@@jlhabitan50 well i know how sanremo works as i am italian as well :) my point is not to criticise sanremo of course, but try to make it evolve and let it become more eurovision friendly or create another contest only for ESC and leave san remo as it is :)
@@ariannavalentinadelgaudio3951 I think Sanremo has always been evolving hence it being a platform for vets and newbies. With its consistently good results at Eurovision, I can't see why RAI would consider creating a different contest entirely especially if it could potentially overlap with Sanremo's broadcast schedule in the first quarter of the year.
Good, please don't change. Who needs more electroboobs on the Eurovision...
Guys, this is a masterpiece.... I know that Elodie should have won because it’s a more Eurovision-style song, and we all know this... but this song, even without knowing the language is beautiful. I’m sorry if you disagree, but the simplicity and the emotion that he expresses are stunning ❤️
It's a very special song!
@Rasmus Andersson quality man. All the best things in life takes time and they celebrate their music and take it seriously. Italy doesnt care for eurovision. In fact its because of Sanremo that eurovision exists.😄
This is like Duncan Laurence? What the heck did she even finish listening to all the song before coming to conclusions like that. Those two songs are nothing a like. Also don't understand why whenever there is slow ballad some of the reactors automatically go to snoozing mode. Kind off irritating because you already make automatic conclusions based on the genre of music. Another thing that bothers me, like if you don't speak Italian search up the lyrics regardless you don't need the lyrics to feel the emotion as he already carries that throughout the song very well. Not every song has to be in English for you to appreciate it. This has been a complete disaster some of these reactors were being quite disrespectful.
amen!
Some reaction guys are much more interested in performing than actually listening.
The old Norwegian (I guess) guy was the most irritating. He was very disrespectful. Open your minds guys. The world doesn’t consist only of English-speaking people!!!
It is Duncan Laurence-esque because we have a male singer-songwriter singing a heartfelt track. That would be Duncan Laurence-esque and we literally had that as our winner last year so I typically recommend/prefer folks mix it up in the following year... I also said I'd listen to the studio track. It isn't a bad song, but is it competitive? I'd say no. This is a fair opinion. Emphasis: opinion.
@@AlesiaMichelle Then there were many Duncan Laurence before he even won. Also you forget the fact that Italy changed it up from last year. And unless you already know all the other 35 songs how can you be so sure if this will be competitive or not. And it's great you have an opinion just weird you form one by listening to less than a minute of the song.

The fact that euro HUB has chosen these cuts and not others is an editorial choice that disturbs me

italy the most underrated country ever
I admit that fai rumore Is not my favourite song from Sanremo (the italian competition from which every year the winner goes ti Eurovision) but it's a great ballad, Better than the others Who won in the previous years (Portugal, Israel...). Don't keep saying it's boring cause every year Italy brought to Eurovision different genre of music and every year we don't get the right attention we deserve cause North european countries vote for each other and so on. So instead of act like musical Expert think at your own Eurovision Song, cause if i m not wrong, UK and Spain in the previous years were judged as the worst ones. PS care ti sing in your language, not in english, cause it's not englivision.
Hey guys, it's okay if you don't like this song, but I think it's a bit rude to say things like " do we have to finish listening to it?" or "zzzing" like that. I think we all have to respect the work behind every piece of art. Even though it's not the best song ever written, personally I like it for the feeling it gives me. The song isn't just about that " noise" a former lover could produce and bring into his life , it is also dedicated to the inhabitants of his hometown Taranto. The city is poisoned by the toxicity of a giant steel mill called Ilva. Workers have to decide wether to keep living without a job or getting it and die. He wants those people to " make noise" too and stand for their rights. Greetings from Italy :)

Lmao, the ones that say this is outdated, slow, not eurovision material etc. You never know what may win for sure in Eurovision. We have seen Portugal win and Israel win. So just say it is not my genre or just I don't like it and that's all instead of acting like music experts!
I love the Italian song. My favourite so far.
I don't understand a thing. Why some of the reactor when they react to the spanish song are like "Woaw really good song wow this will stand in eurovision I love it" and litteraly the song don't have emotion , no hight note , no goosepumps nothing and after the first minute it became like boring or repettetive (english is not my native language sorry)

This is not a regular ESC-style senseless dance number wrapped in plastic. I agree it’s a little old-school but that’s a traditional Sanremo song. In Italy when people watch Sanremo they don’t care about the ESC. It just happens that RAI (Italian broadcaster) uses the festival to select the representative for the ESC. Sanremo is a celebration of the Italian music and people choose and vote for the one that has a meaning and that gives you emotions. Elodie would have been perfect for Eurovision and the whole Europe would have listened to another Mahmood song but in the end he is going to Rotterdam and I think, no matter what, he will make us proud.
I didn't think much of Elodie. I would have liked Rancore but this is perfectly Italian.
Sometimes I dont understand how that girls can dislike it in the first few seconds. You should first actually listen instead of inmediately laughing and not listening to it even though you may not like it.
Some people that say its dated. I dont agree with that. Its a ballad. Ballads are not dated. Although in these period of time many young people listen to musical bad music (its officially researched that tye music of the past years is getting worse and worse and then I mean the American music industry). It really depends what you are used to but I listen a lot of music from 60's, 70's even the 80's and some 90s and early 2000music (madonna for example) good music will always remain good even if its from the 60s. That does not matter.

Remember guys, respect for my Italy and for our music. Last decade Italy was the country with the best second score. Only after Sweden that is always overrated in Esc. So Italy was the moral winner of last decade 2010-2019. In our way of life, music is feeling, hAppyness, soul not fire on the stage and twerking.
Such a good song, sooo underrated. I don't understand Italian but I can feel the soul and emotion definitely one of my favourite.
true, because of this, I went to learn Italian language and it is so good. This is definitely my winner and this made my heart ache, this made me cry and that's so good. Diodato, you did a very good job and you will stay in my heat forever, cheer up to all Italians and all people in the world suffering from this stup*d virus, may all that sacrificed their lives rest in peace! Stay safe everyone!
Some of the guys there seem not to understand the difference between outdated and classic. You know, not everything has to be a light pop song. Otherwise Adele wouldn't have the success she has, and she sings mainly ballads.
The guy who commented "non posso sopportare" implying that he can't stand him has not looked at the translation of the lyrics, which are beautiful and poignant. Diodato also combines this with a solid control of his voice, as he passes from singing with a belt voice to a falsetto, which is hard to do in succession.
The two Norwegians were sneering quite a bit. We all have our preferred genres, but they gave the impression they already panned the song as soon as they put it into the classic ballad box.
Adele's songs are a million times better than this.
I love all Adeles songs! Some ballads can be really good.
I personally love Diodato with all my heart and I love the song and it's a breath of fresh air at Eurovision. Not every song needs to sound like the typical american pop song. Also, google the lyrics instead of just saying you don't understand.

@@Graciekate910 Hi Katie! thanks for your very nice comments. I have a question for you (i asked the same thing to Alesia, since I have been following and appreciating both you for a long time reacting to ESC songs): Do you think that a reaction about Italy where you hear “I love spaghetti but..” is funny or simply containing a racist stereotype? The word “spaghetti” was used a lot in the past in Northern Europe to name Italian immigrants. I am sure there was no intention here but as editors of this page I would avoid to use these kinds of cuts to make people laugh. Lots of people, me included, find it very disturbing.
I appreciated so much the people who had inquired about this song before, particularly the Belgian guy. And i think it is very important to know that the Italian singers that partecipate in Eurovision Contest are the same that win Sanremo Festival. When they partecipate in Sanremo they think about Sanremo Festival, the only target is to win the most important music contest for music in Italian language. Sanremo is not a contest to choose the Eurovision entry, this is only one of the results of the victory in Sanremo. And the Sanremo winner can refuse to partecipate in Eurovision, as it happened in 2016 for example. Sanremo Festival is much more important than Eurovision in Italy and Eurovision itself was born taking insipiration on Sanremo Festival ;)
I think someone of you may be listening to a different song.. this song is beautiful. Top 5 for sure if not a winning entry..

But that was one person in a whole group. (Which is probably representative of the wider world) More of us like this song, and like songs in native languages, than don’t like it. Yet everyone is focusing on the minority negative rather than the positive.
This song is way too good for ESC. Period.
Fai Rumore it's the best song so far
Just a question: do you know the meaning of the word quality? God...
Katie and Chloe are always so lovely! Ballads are always divisive, aren't they? I think this is a beautiful song. The bridge and the ending just give me goosebumps.
Me too, Marta--and tears every time I hear it, because it is so emotional and beautiful.
I'm sorry but I just don't like Alesia's attitude, not only in this video but in every single of her appearances.
A Song in the singer's native language is always better. Change my mind.
I rispect your opinions, but this Is an amazing song, you should listen to it without talking and paying attention to it. And maybe readung the lyrics
As a French speaking Swiss I love this song so much more than our song this year. And that says a lot because I have our song on a good second. But that may be because I speak Italian as a second language and actually UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS SAYING
This song is amazing.
Good job Italy, this was perfection.
just hope that people will read the lyrics of this song, that it may seem boring but it's still a very deep song, I just want to remember you that a lot of people that watch Sanremo, didn't even know about the existence of Eurovision, Italians don't vote for the perfect song for Eurovision, they vote for the best song, and "Fai Rumore" maybe it's just a little bit boring, but it's still an elegant and emotional song
I feel like people are loving it just because of the lyrics which is not a great thing , no one would pay attention to the lyricsin the grand final
@@Vaikida I mean they said the same thing about Meta&Moro's song in 2018 and they finished 5th, that was not bad
@@Lightsephiroth They had subtitles in different languages and people got it and it had a strong message
@@Vaikida you don't know what Diodato is going to do in his performance, we'll see in May 👋👋
@@Vaikida You're right... but they can do something similar here too, or they could have people dancing to the song in the background (honestly that's what I'm expecting). We'll see
I am so happy Diodato is ESC competitor for Italy! His live singing skills are always been SO great and the lyrics so beautiful. Sorry for the ones that are too lazy to get it translated. Boring is really NOT the right word to describe this song. 🤨 Romantic and classy, instead, are. ✨🥰
Precisely, HydraS. Thank you for your comment.
The best song of this year, giving me goosebumps
I love italy
I can feel his soul when he sings. Well done Italy. 12 points 😉
His voice is very beautiful and unique, a caress for the soul💕
This is the best song ever in esc 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I heard this type of comment for almost every song at Eurovision, so either someone is BS, or every song is a masterpiece, except the esc winner according to eurovision fans 😒
No not at all
This is Italian Style ,this is Italian Culture singing in Englisch is blablabla.
Is "blabla" because you people can't understand English maybe. Wake up, you're in 2020.
- Rav KxK - Oh, we actually can... Can you understand that English isn't the only language in the whole World? No, you can't... We will always sing in Italian by the way, because in Sanremo you HAVE to sing in Italian. It's the FESTIVAL DELLA CANZONE ITALIANA, not the ENGLISH FESTIVAL.
@@RavKxK oh we can, but you know what? it's EUROvision, not ENGLISHvision.
@@Nyrella Are you guys actually dumb? Can't you see a difference between saying that
"I will sing in Italian because that's what I want to do"
and
"I will sing in Italian because English songs are just blablabla"?
@@naewsqrg Nobody said that you have to sing in English you idiot...
the best Song this year. Fai Rumore Italia
The guys from Norway are really RUDE
They didnt even give the song a chance. The moment the reactions went wrong is when they started comparing it to past entries and to entries they clearly have biases with. Sometimes you really have just to accept other peoples opinions and live with the fact that theyre wrong.
Hello! Just to make it clear once for all: Sanremo ISN'T a national selection for ESC. The "Festival di Sanremo" was created in 1951 and was the main inspiration for the ESC which saw the light 5 years later. We don't follow any pattern or formula whatsoever in order to be appealing to the Eurovision's standard (if there is one...). This song also won the two critics prizes aka the Mia Martini and Lucio Dalla prizes. - Ps: it wasn't even in my top 5 but I'm soooo happy for Diodato 'cause he's a good songwriter and musician, blessed with a beautiful voice 🙂 Peace and good luck to all the contestants!
This song is very polarizing: some love it while some others hate it.
Grande Diodato 😍❤️👍🏻
Per un italiano è un vero inno all’amore 🥰
Guys….Andromeda was medíocre….Diodato´s "Fai Rumore" is a natural eurovision Top 3!..and my favorite so far!
3:08 is she serious?
Kyrylo yes i am serious☺️ It was the first time i listened to the song, and I didn’t search up the lyrics before. Therefore, because I don’t speak Italian, the song was boring to me. I respect all opinions about the song, this was just not anything for me, and that’s okay cause it’s MY reaction:)
@@adelehagen5700 How can someone judge without know what Is talking about? I mean, What can you understand just with a melody? Like Iceland last year, did you acrually understand What was about without the lyrics? 🤷
@Celeritas I think in some songs you can intuitively feel the meaning without understanding the language.
This is song is amazing.
I’m just curious to know how’s your reaction to the actual performance for Eurovision in Arena di Verona. You’re lying if you say you didn’t cry ❤️
Norway lots of good songs obviously!!😡
This song is a masterpiece. That's all.
Yet portugal in 2017 was even more slowly than this and .... it just won
Remember these words.
Fantastic Song 🇮🇹❤️❤️
Song is really good, I don't know what is wrong with it
I think this song is wonderful. It wasn't my favorite (that was Ringo Starr), but I do enjoy it a lot and can see it doing quite well at Eurovision. Great work, Italy!
This can be appreciated by people who know history of San Remo and Italian canzona, but some who know nothing will not get it.
Some really liked it and some others hated it 😂.
I think that it will be the same thing in Eurovision too: it's either going to do REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD.
The only thing that I have to say is that people should stop judging a song for the first 10 seconds... it really says something about the attention span nowadays
Big song, great voice, a winner!
Mahmood didn’t win even though the modern rhythm and the lyrics
so The philosophy of "need a song to dance" is not correct
Beautiful song! Sometimes simple song is all we need.
Best song i've heard in years honestly. Wow
I come to say that Fai rumore has aged like wine to me and now I really like it 😳👋
Forza Italia 🔥🔥👏
So many different reactions. 😄 that's great though.
I liked the song. It's pulling on my heart strings and I'm here for it.
Great reaction everyone! It's so exciting to be at this stage where more and more songs are starting to be released!
Quote of the video:
Iago: 'maybe a lot of people don't think this, but a lot of people are going to be voting for this; so ark these words!"
Honestly think that sums this up perfectly! It's a quality song, I'm not yet fully into it, but I appreciate the emotion and passion behind it.
Jude Kennedy ATCL agree with Iago, as always 🙌🙌
