I was obsessed with this movie after discovering it in highschool. I would play it constantly anytime I was at home. I could quote this movie from beginning to end and still can do about 85%. I've seen it at least 500 times. Love this movie.

One of my favorite movies that I missed days of school because I stayed up all night rewatching the movie and I identified with Mitch because I was hanging out with high school kids a few years older than me in 96/97 when I was in 6th/7th grade but they didn’t haze me because I was a crazy individual and I gained respect on my own and they were scared of me

That was a total blast, ha! Damn good soundtrack! This movie is literally like taking a time machine and going back to a party in the woods in some random suburb of America in 1976. My town didn't have all this hazing stuff, but the basics of how people looked, acted and partied is almost scary, that's how close this movie is to what it was really like! Nobody looks like they're from the 90s. "Boogie Nights" is another great 90s movie that recreates the 70s (and 80s) really, really close. You would do a GREAT reaction to that movie, and again: great soundtrack, amazing cast. THANKS!!!!!!!!! Loved it!!!!!!

this was matthew mcconaughey first movie. he was in a bar in austin, texas when the director met him. this was also filmed in austin. i;ve been to Top Notch. good burgers!

The Boiler Room has a few of these actors in it and the main star of Boiler Room Giovanni Ribisi is brother to the red head chick. He and the dude that gets in the fight Adam Goldberg are in Saving Private Ryan together. Both did multiple guest spots in Friends. Both appear in each other’s movies. The other guy in the fight Nicky Katt is also in Boiler Room and in an episode of Friends. Vin Diesel is in both Saving Private Ryan and Boiler Room.

Atleast the liquor store guy asked if mitch was 18 a liguor store close to where i live if you were old enough to walk he would have sold you anything in the store no many teens that got stuff all the time hes no longer in buisness
Straight up comedy isn't an accurate description of this movie at all to me. The genre is slice of life. It just has a lot of humorous moments.
