Fair use is a doctrine in the United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test. The term “fair use” originated in the United States. A similar principle, fair dealing, exists in some other common law jurisdictions. Civil law jurisdictions have other limitations and exceptions to copyright. - Zábava
I love to laugh. Enjoy everyone who comes by. 🩶. P.S. I hated my ending and outro. 🖤
The look the prosecutor gives him as he walks past, must be similar to a leopard seal watching a penguin fly away.
FUN FACT: Marisa Tomei who played Mona Lisa Vito,Vinny’s Fiancée! Won the Supporting Actress Oscar for the year of 1993 because the movie came out in 1992! MIND BLOWN!!!
I didn’t know that fact. Thanks for sharing. She did a great job too
What a classic! Me being from Brooklyn makes this movie a fixture in the household!! 🤣💪🏽
Even us guys from the Bronx like it!
😃 “Ohhhh…that ain’t no tuna right there, brother”😂
Great reaction
💛thank you
This is my favorite Joe Pesci movie.
Goodfellows is mine
The movie is directed well, or the cinematography department, i don't know who's responsible but the look of the movie is comforting. Good writing too.
great reaction
Thanks bro 👊🏾
Great reaction👍
Glad you enjoyed brother 👍
The judge was played by Fred Gwynne, who had made his name playing the Frankenstein look-alike Herman Munster in the tv show, The Munsters. He died a year after this movie came out.
One of the things I like about this movie (and I do like it a lot) is that while a lot of comedy comes from the clash of northern urban culture against a southern rural one, both sides are treated by the movie with respect.
Your right. Combine the north and south into one movie. Awesome. Just was missing the west coast. LOL
The judge is the actor of off of the Sitcom back in the 80's called The Munsters. He was Fred Munster
He was also in Car 54 Where are you TV comedy before
60s, not 80s.
@@claymccoy ya. But that's when I was watching As a kid lol. Actually I think it was 50's. It will still in black and white

It is ALL about culture.
That type of owl is appropriated known as a screech owl. I understand foxes also screech loudly at night.
I was totally shock when i heard the owl. LOL
I love all these stories about the law, watching the tv Law & Order show, People's Court, Judge Judy, the O.J. Simpson case. I have read and reread and read again all the many Perry Mason novels, and so many other stories by Erle Stanley Gardner, from 1933 until c. 1970. (The tv Raymond Burr version of Mason and the recent HBO series are both so unlike the original novels.) Gardner was an actual attorney and his depictions of trial procedures and quirks in the law are fascinating.
So when watching this movie when it first came out, I was blown away - as were many in the audience - by the notion of Discovery. The concept goes way back to English law but seems to have been practiced more in the absence until Brady v. Maryland in 1963, when our current strong application of this idea was achieved. Even though this movie is three decades after this change, most people at the time were still not familiar with it. When Lisa pointed it out to Vinnie, I was initially shocked for a microsecond, while at the same time thinking to myself "of course. How fair."
In the Perry Mason novels, reflecting older norms of criminal justice, each side was NOT compelled to reveal all their evidence. They could hold back evidence, even hide important witnesses in outlying motels. Made for an awful lot of drama for these books, of when such evidence gets sprung on a witness, but it could kept hidden and not revealed at all. The opposing side could be kept from examining contrary witnesses and even kept from knowing they existed whatsoever.
By the way, this movie is held in high regard by actual lawyers, and I understand sometimes it is shown in law school to help teach things. Vinnie is right - law school does not teach actual procedures, so I understand, but expect novices to attend actual trials and learn it that way.
I think though, in reality, Stan could have retained his public defender who could work with Vinny by advising him, with Vinny doing the cross-examination. But then we wouldn't have a movie.
I love reaction videos but CZcams has a weak search function. Only found this video via your Blazing Saddles reaction, which I just happened to stumble on. You might want to make sure you include the words "First Time Watching" in the title to help others find your work.
Yea I found out that FIRST TIME….. in the title helps. I’m going to clean up the movies this weekend. Good looking John 👊🏾👍
One thing I can't let go of in this movie is Billy and Stan were driving to LA. The guys who actually did it got caught in Georgia. The deputy who arrested them was going the wrong direction
my dad puts soy sauce over his grits
i never did my grits like that. have you tried it as well? if so...how was it?
