When Gravity Falls ended, I was really disappointed, because one of my favorite cartoons is gone and that was just kinda hard to let go. I was one of those people who wished for more seasons. Looking back on it now almost 5 or 6 years later, im actually really satisfied with this conclusion, and im happy it ended like this. Alex Hirsch is one of the greatest story tellers of all time.
for all you folks who miss gravity falls, don't forget that there's always next summer and every great story has an ending.

Actually, about Bill Cipher. It is theorized that he's actually in the mind of Stan, due to Stan getting his memories back that could mean Bill was restored as well. Now trapped in the mind of the one who out smarted him and saved Gravity Falls.

Same, but I'm happy that it had an amazing end, getting the chance most shows never get, or never take. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but a lot of shows go too far without an end, and it ruins the show. I'm just happy this didn't happy to lovely Gravity Falls.

I know that, most likely we won’t get another season. But we all grew up with this show, no matter how old we were, our generation grew up with this. But imagine, we are 10 years in the future, we have kids of our own, a family. And our kid comes into the room asking to go to a movie called “10 years later: the falls” you recognize the name but think nothing of it, you sit down in the movie chair and the screen lights up. And you hear his voice....dippers, the memories come flooding back.....

I still think that Mabel had minor precognition abilities that manifested in her sweaters. You'll note that they nearly all relate to the events at hand, and according to the creator of the series: she knitted every single one the week before.

I'm obviously sad that the series ended, but the fact that Dipper and Mabel were going to go back to Gravity Falls next summer and see everybody made me happy because at least they weren't saying goodbye to each other forever.

I believe that if Dipper continued on the whole "cryptid hunter" path, he'll take an apprentice himself but try and teach him as much as possible, not leaving them in the dark like Ford did.

The problem wasn't that it wasn't addressed. The problem was that they did address it (when Bill took over Dipper's body) but then did literally nothing about it. That was always my biggest gripe with the show so I'm really glad they did something about it in these comics.
And yet the show admittwd that Pacifica Northwest was a one-note sexist stereotype which it fixed in *Northwest Mansion Mystery*
I’m pretty sure it was brought up to dipper however I can’t remember (Bill Cipher)
Here’s a popular theory: when Stan’s mind was erased, so was Bill. But along with his memories, Bill came back when he recovered. Bill then wished upon the Axolotl and went back in time to become Stanley Pines. He had observed Stan’s overall life, as he was reminded of his life and had tried to replicate the average human life, but no matter what, he always messed it up. Being relieved of his powers, he had to learn the harsh ways to survive as a human being, which is why he always was so selfish. He also refers to Bill sayings, as in “buying gold.” He worked to open the portal, while keeping his niece and nephew safe, as he learned what love truly is. Once he finished the portal, he had been relieved that Stanford survived 30 years in an other worldly location. Bill became Stan, and it really makes sense when you look into it.
Author confirmed that bill is dead for good.
When I first watched this as a child, I theorized that Bill was resurrected as Stanley regained his memories, causing the anomalies outside of Gravity Falls.
It wouldn't be that hard to make a reasonable return for Bill someone many years later could shake hands with the stone statue summoning him back.

If they ever reboot the series, and bring Bill back, it would be awesome to have it be when Dipper and the gang are adults!
Bill Cipher would have came back in a different time, different form. Could be possible that he was already back after his defeat, and caused his past defeat.
I.e He came back as Stanley.
Of course, all his previous memories would have been wiped.
Plus, it would make the most ironic fate for Bill. That and all the signs point to it, Stan using blue magic to summon a Pitt Cola in the mind, knowing that they were in the mind.
Maybe he’s the goat. Bill did say in the AMA that he liked him better this way.

I think, the thing that makes me the most sad is thinking about it in universe.

But.....judging by the show ending....they never went back.
From what we see, stepping onto that bus was the last time they saw the friends they made in Gravity Falls, and the last time those friends saw them.
That...honestly, just makes me sad.

I watched another video that speculated Bill already returned & was hiding out in Grunkle Stan's head by the time the twins are leaving Gravity Falls. I honestly think that makes the most sense as it would seem very strange to me that he would get all his memories back without resurrecting Bill in the process as when his mind was erased completely so was Bill at almost the exact same time. I feel that would be a Great revelation if they found out that it Bill came back in such a simple way, just minus some of the same powers he has in Weirdmeggedon as that seemed to be Bill at his strongest. It would serve Bill right too if they made him have to regenerate another eye 😄😄

It's been three years. Three years ago I was 11 years old. Me and my squad (my three friends) were and still are obsessed with Gravity Falls.
Gravity Falls gave all of us memories we wouldn't replace for the world. Now we're all 14 and have, yes, grown apart from the show some. We've grown as people because of GF.
We've lost friends, gained friends, we're just a group of four weird teenagers. GF actually taught us shit. It helped us become and realize who we are.
There's me, the loud extroverted weido. Bella, the only slightly sane but still weird hamil-trash. Faith the Creepypasta loving screecher. LaJade the video gaming introvert. And Will, the ultimate weeb.
