The Belfry #RyderCupClash Brabazon Part 4 with Mark Crossfield, Matthew Lockey, Kevin harper and YourGolfTravel's Rory. Watch the guys taking on this classic Ryder Cup venue as they play their Ryder Cup clash golf match. This is a fun easy to watch golf video helping golfers around the world enjoy golf more. - Sport
The pensive music whenever someone is searching for their ball never ceases to give me a chuckle and put a smile on my face.
what a shot by Rory!
I love watching year-old videos and whooping it up when someone chips in. Belated great shot, Rory.
Just played the Belfry today, after watching this video recently I had to go for the green on the 10th, as a 28 handicapper probably not advisable, but I hit the green, 10ft to the pin, left the eagle putt 2 inches short, I was gutted as I have never had an eagle before....
Great video, keep them coming, I do love watching your videos of a course before play it.
Nice one Rory
My friend eagled the 10th. Such a great experience playing that course
wow, that pitch in from Rory was amazing haha
Yes Rory!
Why was I laughing so hard during that relief debate?
9:00 I thought Lockey was just gonna poke Mark in the drink.

Nice shot Rory! Reminds me of Zach Johnson's playoff shot after putting it in the drink
The 10th is where Seve drove the green in the 1985 Ryder Cup. 275 yards carry with persimmon driver.

Best match yet! Good teams. Unlucky Mark! :p
I think Rory just won the internet
What is the equipment being used in the end of the clubs and the attachment on the waist?
I think RickShielsPGAGolf made it to this green with his drive.
any chance you can clarify the drop issue?
Rory is just too cute #nohomo
What do they mean when they say Rory has a shot?
again #Rorytastic
How's come in Europe the wheel is on the left side of the "buggy" or in America a "cart"?
Good show guys!!
Mark, you could have dropped on the green, underRule 26-1c, the only restrictions are that you must drop it (1) within two club-lengths and (2) no closer to the hole.
No, he couldn´t use the rule 26-1c. That rule is for the "red" water only! And Mark was in the "yellow" water.
I think this one is confusing because of the way it's shaped and the fact that it's yellow. Then that foot path which almost makes the channel it rolled into look like a separate hazard. Seems to me that to be properly "behind the water hazard" you'd need to draw a line from the pin through point where it rolled back in, then follow the line until you're behind the entire staked area (in this case back in the fairway) to drop. I could be totally wrong though, would love to know if they settled the debate after
I think the answer might be here www.usga.org/rulesfaq/rules_answer.asp?FAQidx=106&Rule=26
I was intrigued by this so got a bit geeky and investigated it...
Martin is right. If it were a lateral hazard then it is possible for you to drop onto a green so long as the two clubs lengths, not nearer hole rules are adhered to. However, as it was just a water hazard this is not an option here. He could, however, potentially have dropped onto the green further back if it was in line with the point of entry and the flag, but chances are this would have left an impossible putt as it looked like the hazard cut in to the green quite a bit.
Mark's drop by the sprinkler head was correct (it was behind the point of entry and in line with flag), and he was then entitled to relief from an immovable obstruction (the sprinker head). However, from this point rule 24-2 b takes effect, which states that relief from an immovable obstruction 'through the green' cannot be onto a putting green.
He should have identified the nearest point of relief from the obstruction that wasn't nearer the hole, on the putting green, or in the hazard (even it this was some distance away). Then he should have taken his one-club length from that point, ensuring the ball didn't either strike a green/hazard first when he dropped it, or come to rest on a green/in hazard - if it did then he would re-drop. If, after a re-drop it still isn't in play then he could place it as near as possible to the point where the ball struck the ground from his redrop, but this could still not be on a green. How complicated is this?!!
Hope that helps clarify. It was bugging me so had to find out!
#RoryMagic
get in rory
nice chip in rory
Mark please play at elfordleigh in the south west
Anyone know what putter Marc uses? I know its probably been asked a thousand times!

Comeback #lockey&rory
Get in Rory!
point of order. in matchplay if a ball is not seen landing and being searched for, when it is spotted by your partner he needs to call the opponent to identify the ball. as soon as Kev lifted Mark's ball out of the pond you LOST the hole.
correct me if im wrong.
PS did you make the cut at Sawgrass?
Don't fret...'twas I who originally spotted Mark's ball. Kev simply retrieved the ball from the water. (Wish I hadn't looked for it now!!)
RORY IS GOD
crazy pitch haha
there are a shit ton of squirrels on that course.
take that parfield hahaha
Poulter in the making Rory???
It's time for Rory to drop to hcp 5
Mark could you do a video on how not to lose it when you are having a bad golf day because you handle it so so so well and i think that is one of the worst things of my game . PLEASE GolfGuru
If there is one piece of advice about this issue is basically 4 words. It is a game. Remember that unless Ur earning money and making your living off it then what's the point of worrying about it? If its a leisure activity remember to treat it like one :p this has got me round every time I play crap. Alsobi think he has done a video just look on his q&a channel
thanks a lot. Well its not for money i know its the game but sometimes i have such bad games that i dont want to finish the round
But ill try to think of that thank you
Did Mark say what I think he said?....C**ty little 5-Wood? Haha

First Comment. How far do high school golfers drive it?
Depends on the person and how they are. A drive from a high schooler can range anywhere from 20-330 yards.
