I remember watching Paul Casey up the 15th hole back in about '04 when he won the British Masters here and he hit a driver and 3 wood out of his boots into the wind and only just got on in 2. He played awesome that week..

I do have a question tho.
What's the point in you guys using 'game golf' if you are tagging 10ft gimmies, tagging fairways when your not on them, and tagging the green when you've missed it by a foot or so ? Surely your stats are not going to be accurate !
Also, Rory is so addicted to his wedges that he has forgotten what a soft 9 iron is ( first hole,13th,.135yrds wedge to an uphill green) ? would he hit it straighter if he took some off it with a 9 iron ?

Mark i had the same exact bunker shot as you 103 to the pin and couldnt be bothered to go back for my 52. Needless to say i had the same result...short :( How exactly are you supposed to hit that shot. ball back, middle, or forward?? Im sure you have a video somewhere on it.
Ball a little forward. Keep the lower body quiet on a shot like that. The key is to go in with a shallow angle of attack rather than steep because you don't want to hit down as much on a ball in the sand, it can sink a little. Good way to get your rhythm down before a round is to take a few practice shots out of a fairway bunker.

chip or pitch UP on the green, then putt DOWN in hole, i think
any combination of one stroke to hit the green, then one stroke in the hole. usually only mentioned when ur approach shot has missed.

Not very good for wet or winter weather tho. More of a summer shoe... Unless you are in USA, probably good all year round ;)

Jason Kinman I just picked up a pair and played with them for the first time this weekend. Most comfortable round of golf I have ever played. I didn't feel like I lost any grip from my traditional spikes either. Well worth the money, imo.

Terrible Ryder cup knowledge from Rory. 1987 lol....surely we all know that was muirfield village with JMO doing the samba and Woosie foot tapping. Faldo was 93 and a six iron Mark. Sorry that sounded a bit geeky but the wife is in labour and I'm really bored
