Been struggling with impact/strike and path. Was a the range today and started trying this, when I hit balls. Results were incredible. Don't know what it did to my path, but all shots were definitely straighter, higher and longer, especially noticeable with driver. Impact also much better. I've seen this video before but never tried it, it must have been there in the back of my mind.

If you try to swing your arms (elbow to shoulder) as hard as you can forward in the downswing like your going to through your club but with arms only your lower body will respond as they were teaching.

Hitting or trying to hit 7 irons 200 yards is a recipe for unnecessarily trashing your back…just SAF!

I had one. It told me I had a tour level swing speed. I tried doing what the support person said but it still told me I was 10 mph faster than I was. I still liked it but it made it useless I. Terms of getting yardages etc

My second GEARS session with Joe showed exactly this issue. I am now working on keeping my right hip much lower and deeper in the backswing to give me the platform to increase lead hip tilt at impact. Can't measure that on video accurately. Result. Smash factor with 7 iron 1.47, 15mph increase in ball speed, better AoA and low point control. JD Golf Academy are changing my game completely.

My son Ian who just graduated from college with a degree in sports management just went to work for PING Arizona starting in the manufacturing plant building PING clubs. He's been playing golf since he was 8 years old and is a 4 handicap. He told me he wanted to start at the bottom and earn his way up learning the PING brand from the bottom up. In the PING program he will move to Customer Service next, then into fittings and eventually he wants to become a Master Fitter working on the Pro Truck at PGA Tournaments. He's only 25 so he got a great future ahead of himself if he works hard and listens/learns! He told me the PING Blueprint S are sweet clubs and he really love them. PING has a program for employees that gets them fitted and into PING clubs at a great rate, so he's stoked to be able to play all kinds of PING clubs, drivers & putters. To say he's happy, would be an understatement. When you love what you do it's never a job!!!!!

Probably my favorite FW woods ever. Carried a 17*, 21* and 25* for years, flat wore them out. Just bought the reissued 19* just hope they are the same as the original.

Low handicap golfers pay £500 on a driver or putter . With the potential being getting an advantage from the tech .. But seem to criticise anything new to the market. Irrelevant of performance.. snobs the lot of ya 🤣🤣🤣. Love your reviews really 😇

But looking at it another way. Rory moved his hips 22-24 degrees back and forth....and the amateurs moved the same total. The problem may be that us amateurs are told to increase that hip turn by lifting the left heel. Can we, if we restrict our back tilt, expect to get any kind of similar shot to Rory with similar movement. If not, it's a bit of a moot point, surely? 🤔

An underrated benefit of the hybrid is its ability to play a bump and run from a tight crappy lie around the green. Choke down on it, grip it like a putter, and I’ll make more up and downs than any other club from there.

Doubt this video is monitored, but I took this to range today and my first 20 balls were crisp and down the middle. However, I didn’t change anything in the routine and the next 15 were all over the place … fat, thin, to the right etc … and frustratingly I honestly have no idea … if anyone can help or experienced the same I’d be very grateful for your thoughts … thanks.

I’m a little confused why so many are talking negative about these game changing irons . Normally very good golfers harping on about aesthetics. Let’s face it , mid -high handicap golfers want improvements, I’m not concerned regards looks . These new style hybrid irons can only be a positive.

Off the ground, my 3w has to be halfway between my lead heel and the center of my stance. Off a tee, it's only slightly farther forward.

I was a 10hcp and did all these amateur things. I thought I was pretty good still though. Once I really started filming my swing and improving, I'm now a 3.2hcp. It makes a huge difference working on this stuff.
