There have been moments watching this tournament that there’s been a slight shift in his attitude, if he thinks he’s great, then that’s great I like that attitude but there has to be a balance within that environment and a little bit of reading the room, where this is not the ethos of this particular group under this leadership and going against it (if all that’s written is to be believed) will create a division.
That being said we lost the final based on other issues, fitness of certain players, form of certain players and sloppy moments in game. To blame one player is silly.

I genuinely couldn’t care less if Bellingham is liked or disliked in the dressing room. Modern day social media fans don’t appear to understand at all that some of the most successful teams in history have had teammates who despised each other. Bellingham is young, brash, and cocky. I.E.-He’s an alpha and that’s why he’s won Player of the Year Awards in back-to-back seasons in the Bundesliga and La Liga. If England actually want to win trophies the fans need to start understanding players with the attitudes of Bellingham need to be the norm. Watch teams like Argentina and Real Madrid over the years. Their players and teams are not only highly skillful but nasty and know the dark side of the game. English fans need to seriously wake up. Bellingham is not the problem at all. You need a team full of players with his assertiveness and alpha energy. Good riddance.

Don't make him the Villain. He's carried us through some matches even in ones leading up to the tournament. You want to talk about the several times he and others put the ball in the box and there was no striker there because Kane wouldn't/couldn't get to it, fine. Want to bring up how Walker constantly killed the attack this tourney by randomly bolting forward but then hits a random back pass making allot of the team have to chase backward, fine. Then theres Phil Foden whom for several tournaments now just hasn't had it fall for him for whatever reason. Ultimately this is on the Manager.

It’s the same story every year when England don’t win a major tournament and to be frank, the England players that showed up at this tournament and the England staff are miles off what he is accustomed to at Real Madrid. What a joke…

Adrian is defending Bellingham as if its OK to have some certain behaviors. He should not receive ANY preferential treatment. It was noticed for instance that he could leave the bus at the back not with the team and he didn't have to line up with his teammates to get on the bus.
On the media, there is no way he didn't do England interviews because he wanted a rest from it. Frankly if he was elevated to group then is part of his responsibilities. Also, one thing that has been noticed is that he does need to take it down a notch. If Kane can be criticized for poor performances so can Bellingham. The crotch grab was juvenile and embarrassing for an England player to do and he has barely received any criticism for it.
In my opinion, although I think he is a great talent, love his confidence, he is being a bit precocious and its healthier for him and players like him to be treated like everyone else in the England camp.

Southgate is a coward for not benching him but Kane deserves responsibility for not acknowledging he’s not up to it himself. There is a problem with Jude and Trent spending so much time together and that problem is not them, but the media who have a problem with it. Two white players spending so much time together would not bother the media in the slightest. As for talking about the Spanish player doing press conferences, Jude Bellingham too did a press conference only to be criticised for what he said, when it was pundits and the media, such as Ian Wright, demanding he do it when he clearly as a 20 year old did not want to and does not enjoy it. Let's not forget he's a 20 year old and there is nothing wrong with a 20 year old deciding certain pressures on the world stage can wait and he wants to focus on doing his talking on the pitch or with his manager and team mates. It's very clear he is young and shares the same emotional challenges of any normal 19 or 20 year old going through an emotional experience under such high pressure even if he hides t well, he's not a machine.
