- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 BMW 328i. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
Thanks a lot to Hendrick BMW of charlotte, NC for allowing me to make this video! For more info on this car as well as others visit www.hendrickbmw.com - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I had one a few years ago. Probably one of my most favorite cars. It felt faster than what is stated on the sticker. I’ve had other cars since and none have replicated the steering feel that this car had.
Agreed
How reliable was it? Why did you sell?
Driving it on Mountain-Alpine roads are where BMW’s really get to shine and excel. I was a Mercedes Benz lover until I drove my first BMW on a trip to Norway while my VW was in the shop. I wanted one since. You and the BMW become one- the control is complete and perfect. One amazing machine.
(Wiggles steering while parked) "...good feedback"
haha😹
2:53 did he say corona?!
Yes
Yes he did
That didnt age well🤣
LOL
I have a 2011 BMW 328i with the Premium and Sport Packages along with heated front seats and BMW bi-xenon adaptive headlights. Basically everything but Navigation and I love the car. This is my 4th BMW and they just simply (in my opinion) cannot be beat. They truly are the "Ulitimate Driving Machine." Thanks again for all y our in depth reviews!
Man, this was 7 years ago, and this thing _still_ looks like it could've rolled off the assembly line last week. Just way ahead of its time, especially since they've looked just like this since 2006! They set the standard for sedan styling that's still being looked to today, no doubt about it. Maybe it's also that BMW hasn't really radically changed the design since then.
floofytown couldn’t agree with you more
I’m late af but in 2006 the new Lexus IS came out too which also looked ahead of its time
agreed
I still have my 2001 325i and it has been a great car! The thing i love most about BMW is that almost all the features on this car are the same as mine Which will make it an easier transition when i buy a newer model someday.
I bought a 2001 325i new and still have it almost 20 years later. I only have 48k miles on it and it still is fun to drive.
I’m getting this as my first car this week!!!
You played yourself
Fourth Horseman nah man, 2 years later and I still absolutely love that car!!
ᗷ ɪɢ ᗰ ᴏɴᴇʏ ᗯ ᴀsᴛᴇ
Sonoma Jack niceeeee
Sonoma Jack how much is the maintenance? Cause I am considering to get a e90
I just bought this car today. And when I was trying the radio earlier the exact same Prince song was on. Must be a Sign :)
Just got mine! 2011 black! Has the idrive though, amazing first car!!!!
Shady Mike Gaming congrats! I want one badly but the coupe 335i. I'll get one soon
22vonn you have one yet?
Family has a 2008 328i. I use it as a daily, and I must say that for the money, it may be one of the best damn cars I’ve ever driven. It practically begs you to ignore speed limits.
You can never go wrong with the sound of BMW's inline six. With turbo's or without, it's a fine but modest sounding engine.
Just bought a 2011 328i with Premium Package for $7,200 and 115,000 miles! Great shape with all manuals and maintenance logs, and she runs like a charm! Loooooooove it sooooooo much!
Any issues with the car? (Thinking about getting one)
you are the best plz never stop making these vids
Gonna be my first car😍😍😍already have the money!
mason resendes Ik it’s late but it’s probably gonna be my first car
@@CarrotsWithLegs its gonna be my first car too
Bought her few weeks ago, black sapphire. Only the 320i though but the driving experience is still amazing!
Aristyo how is it holding up? Worth it?
@@lulbhocolate8465 i bought it with 60k km on it, use it for daily driver. No major problem whatsoever since it has low miles (only front suspension clunking noise). Fuel consumption is phenomenal since it's 320i, but not as fast as the inline 6 (going to save money and sell it for the I6 in the future). Fun to drive, has lighter body, better interior quality, and better handling than the F30. Styling is much better if you see it in real life. Stay away from the turbocharged engine and automatic transmission. Consider the LCI version. It has better styling than the pre-LCI (imo), and also more powerful engine. And some major problems in the pre-LCI engine are solved in the LCI, thus better reliability.
How is it in the winter? On snow, ice
The ultimate driving machine, perfection just gets better!!!
The n52 engine is great, at 145,000 miles on my e92 the only major maintenance I have done is resetting the electronic steering wheel counter. Great cars just take care of them.
picked up same model CPO w/ sport pkg but in silver about 3mos ago. same rims. awesome car so far hope to keep for many years to come.
doooook hows the car holding up ?
Woke up and this is the first video I'm watching.
Sweet ride. I'm an Audi owner now, but BMW will always be the coolest car in the world to me.
I have a 2011. Been a good car so far. Its pretty quick. Good casual car for cruising and day to day driving I think. I like the smooth motor.
Brad Davis how many miles do you have on it?
Are the maintenance expensive ??
Whatever_928 50,000 miles. If you learn to do the basics yourself. Your fine, I don't think the maintenance is expensive really. All how-tos are on CZcams. I've honestly had no issues with mine at all. People seem like the old inline 6 over the different 2012 turbo. Again, it's a good car I think. The n52 engine has a lot of potential space. The engine is bulletproof. People slap turbos on the n52 and run the shit out of them. As long as you change the oil and drive reasonable day to day.
Thanks! looking into one of these or a G37, really torn. But I've read yearly BMW maintenance is $1,000-$1,500 a year as posed to the G37 whic is cheaper
Whatever_928 I respect your decision dude, the g37 coupes are fun.
+Freddy Medina (whatever_928) is it really that costly to maintain? I just bought a 2011 328i 2 weeks ago with 84k miles and I got it from the dealer I got my last car and at 8,800 bucks it was a very fair deal. It has a minor oil leak I believe a head gasket I can smell the leakage burning off the first couple minutes of run time but every time I run the oil gauge it still shows maximum. That and the clips of the plastic wire harness piece were broke that’s toward the back above the engine but that’s nothing. Should I still take it to a verified bmw garage or at this point can I take it to a trusted mechanic in my town? I figured for electronics and stuff I need to go to the dealer shop but for an oil leak and fixing some clips could my guy do it if they are good mechanic in general?
Got mine last week and i love it!
What year?
Eyacub12 skits ur mom
Congrats bro! I want one so bad
Nothing like the sound of BMW's inline 6... I love it
thankz just bought one today ur awesome on ur presentation
I have also have a 2011 328 that I picked up in Germany at the Welt. Needless to say when I placed my order/picked it up I did not realize it would be the last of the naturally aspirated inline 6's that BMW would produce. Hence I will be keeping my 6 speed manual ZSP and ZPP with a lot of other goodies for a loooong time. IMHO - the super silky smooth inline 6 is the heart and soul of BMW.
Best youtube channel ! ! ! :)
love my 2011 bmw 328i wouldn't trade it for any other car in its class
do they all have push to start or only certain models?
Matthew Garcia All have them, the newer ones are now walk in and start. this one is insert key and push to start.
Matthew Garcia only models with comfort access have the true push to start without the silly inserting key, it's very hard to find this model with comfort access due to the fact many buyers didn't know about it or were too cheap to add this package since they 1. Bought the car at the dealership already there instead of building one with comfort access 2. BMW made this package optional on every BMW even the most high end models so most of the BMWs sitting at the dealership do not have comfort access. Also the newer models, while they partially have comfort access, it's only to walk into the car (touch the handle it unlocks with key in pocket), you still need a certain package (they changed the name maybe premium package?) To be able to start the car without the key inserted (dumb I know). I for one am trying to find one with comfort access as a top priority because it's just a nice convenience also it's better than the standard key because the battery is replaceable so unlike a standard key when it dies completely, the comfort access key battery can be replaced easily instead of Frankenstein opening the standard key and replacing the battery or buying a new expensive key.
+DaveLotito Wait are you hispanic? What do you do afford this expensive maintenance car, or is it not too different from any other normal cars (toyota, honda, chevrolet)?
kevin p mmmm. Might require a little more maintenance than the average honda or Toyota but worth it when you compare handling with these cars to those front wheel drivetrains on the Hondas/toyotas, they don't manoeuvre as well. If you could change oil and tiny stuff like that yourself, the cost shouldn't too be much more than a honda or Toyota to own it
I got a 2011 328i xdrive 6mt
Love this car!
i think it's charming to see a modern day BMW with the basics. it's a real drivers car, not a video game.
I JUST PURCHASED MINES FROM CARMAX AND I LOVE IT.
Does the sport package include a louder exhaust too?? On a 2008 would it??
saving up for one of these!!!
My dream car and I want it in this color 😍😍😍
I want it.
I really really want it!
Alex Smith youll get it bro!
This car is showing its age. Can't wait for the redesign.
nice review
When doves cry 😭
What a lovely song for a lovely car.
Is it turbo charged because i have the same car and i was wondering if its turbo charged its so powerful
I just brought one of these, love it!!
its been four years, how is that bmw treating you ?
@@noroomforwar4084 pretty good absolutely love it. It stays Parker most of the time I work mainly from home. Less chance for anything to break lol
Edomus Prime is it a ticket magnet or is that just a saying?
@@karamalshaikh738 just a saying however everyone wants to race you lol
Edomus Prime seems fun, im getting this as my first car tuesday
great video as always. Kyle, correct me if I'm wrong, but I did not notice an engine temp. gauge on the instrument panel. Is it the old idiot light instead?I personally prefer gauges.
@counkev you can get it with the HID headlights and you can get projector headlights, it is standard on the 335i and you get it on the 328i
beautiful car
good review
I bought this car after viewing this video)
+XtaticVideo me too black/black 6 speed sport but no premium
How much did you end up paying?
Question for you guys. How has the reliability been for you, and what's your mileage?
TotalDbag I have 91k miles and it still runs great. Only had to do an oil filter housing gasket which was $250
Dan Duffy )) i have 118 t miles. Bought on 90 t miles. Paid 0.8 of bought price for service. But oil filter housing gasket is around $15. DIY technologies
Nice video
I love that exterior color.
THANK YOU KYLE!! :D MY CAR!
Picked one up well maintained drives like butter 🧈 best car I’ve owned and it’s only been a few days 😂
BMW Always
How much do you guys think this is if it has 115k miles on offer up?
i test drove a 135i its like a 2 door version of the 328i same motor though and all wheel drive and that car was wicked fast
hi kyle,i see all u clips but u dont have a one with bmw e90 sedan 2007,in the future i hope so to recording one....thanks and greatings from romania.
By the way, to get the Xenon's and heated seats only costs a little more on the 328i Sedans. They are standard on the 328i coupes and 335i sedans and coupes. They're an excellent value and retain their resale value better than any car that I know of. As you can tell...I'm a BMW lover! :)
picking mine up today!!
Garrett Havard how is it?
himibobby 15 totally awesome dude. Love it
i want indepth tour of rangerover evoque!! :D
plz do it..
and let me knw if u have already done it.
i want one soooooo bad!
Did you get it
@saabkyle04 Hey Kyle. I see on alot of your videos cars now using these fob proximity sensors. For clarification, when locking, it obviously locks all doors but, when unlocking, does it unlock all doors or just the driver and passenger? Thanks for your clarification!
@JoeBird76 BMW's always used red illumination on the dash because the color red has the least effect on your ability to see at night
I think that if you press the open button in the key, and let it pressed it makes the windows go down. And if you open the windows, and press the pattern on the handle it will close them.
i love this chime
i like it and your videos but what don’t understand is the reeving just when it started the car
can you review the 2011 mercedes SLS AMG?
I LOVE KYLE! He rocks to the max!
Just a question is the 2009 version pretty much exactly the same as this?
I am wondering the same thing because I just bought a 2009 328i with xdrive last month (i love it, its my third BMW)
BMW's have the most relaxing chimes.
My dad has this same car, only in the convertible model, and it is fully-loaded. The Harman-Kardon audio system makes a world of difference compared to the stock BMW Professional audio system in terms of sound quality!
How reliable are these long term?
You have a 2011? I am thinking about getting a 2010 328i wagon. Are they reliable? Any problems so far?
@saabkyle04 how's your old man doing from his surgery good recovery?
I am lovin it
Is this sport edition the cheapest package they offer?
I have an 09 328i with x drive and heated seats. I love the car and everything about it and have had no problems, but it did not come with bluetooth as my salesmen told me. So be sure to check what features it comes with.
I thought bluetooth was standard for 09. My 09 335i has it...
oh ok, my bad.
I really like this car. I wonder which engine would be preferable to have: the naturally aspirated I6 in this or the twin-turbo I6 in the 335i? I know the 335i is faster but I have also been told that the 328i is really slow and that you must buy the 335i.
+1 for doing another m3 review
My aunt has one 316i in grey. Very nice car.
@kyle whens the shebly gt 500 coming???
im not really good with bimmers cars.. but,, whats the one called,,, that has double exhaust of this model?
Kyle, I'd be honored if you come to Canada and personally review my car hehe. My bro's got the same car but the white X-drive manual coupe with 2 tone red and black interior. Such a gorgeous model, glad we chose it over the HFPF prone x35 series of old. Hope they fixed that issue
@wotan20 I've driven a 318i E36 as well as a 325i E36 and found the I-6 to be better overall. The real world fuel economy between the 2 isn't that big of a difference. BMW I-6 motors are just mechanical gems.
Is there no speed limiter on this vehicle?
got a 2011 BMW 3 Series 328i sedan for $3k, 87k miles. rough condition, I can fix the body myself but the engine is busted might replace. Thoughts? Good/bad deal?
Not worth it
what does the sport package add?
kyle, u should do a review of the bmw 728i
@wotan20 Perhaps but if you are in the market for a simple puritan BMW then the 323i is available with a smooth 6 speed manual. I find 4 cylinder engines unrefined and harsh, the I6 motor is silky smooth. For me numbers are half the battle, driving feel and enjoyment is also a big factor when buying a car especially a BMW.
i just fell in love
this is such a good color combo: blue, black, aluminum
Hows maintenance on the car?
My mom bought one of these. It's a very nice car. She didn't have the sport package, though.
Kyle can you please find a Volkswagen R32!! 2008 model!! PLEASE i would like to see a review of it!
@counkev This is the base model thats why, and here in México the top of line BMW has tons of differnet stuff including HID headlights.
Is it worth getting this over an 2013 f30 328 twin turbo
Brandon Dangelo 2013 is newer generation than E90 so it more modern . 2011 is facelift model over 2006 one it is better.
@ThousanWhite It was redesigned?
Such beauty💕💕🙏🏽.
What gas type does this take?
doesnt it need the key inside the hole tp start
Just bought a 2011 with 9K miles and 2 year CPO warranty, came from a SAAB 9.3, the BMW is a very nice car still getting used to all the features and benefits of owning my fist BMW, love the inline 6!
Wow 9000 miles? What a find! I was lucky to find mine with 40000
what did you pay?
was this the very basic model? how much does it go for?
here i was thinking all bmw's came standard with a screen
Nah but that’s good for people that don’t need it because the cars price is so good
