the 328i hate is crazy. love what you have, & have what you love. i’ve owned the 328i & i have 0 complaints, it’s a fun, quick, & enjoyable car and the mpg was lovely. quit lying & hating.
My n52 sounds fire with no 2nd cats x pipe instead no resonator and a single chamber muffler to muffle a little bit of the rasp
but the raspy sound is fire

I have a question. When strightpipe'd does it mess with O2 sensors with it through a check engine light? Did you tune the ECM to accept the new exhaust? I also doing a 3 stage manifold swap and flashing the ECU to a 330i ECM.

Only if you mess with the primary cats as far as I know. I don't think even deleting the secondary cats effects it

The 6 sound better but not by much. They both need to have the resonators replaced with vibrant resonators. The stock ones take too much sound away.

Get a bmw performance exhaust if you want a unique sound but not obnoxious noise, deleting the muffler adds significant noise, and deleting the resonator gives a deeper tune and some noise. I recommend looking through the laws and restrictions in your country or state and deciding based off that. I got a 2010 328i performance exhaust and it sounds fantastic, the deleting and such is usual for a budget.

My 2014 328i has minimal drone, more drone at cold start! Louder actually in Eco pro mode! Sound good with just a muffler delete!

Once you get it out on the road it's going to sound a lot better I have a 335 straight pipe cat delete and a lot of the times when I fire it up people say oh there's no way that straight piped and then soon as I leave and then the next time I see them I was wrong but you don't hear it until you get about 3 Grand on the RPMs and then it comes alive louder

Not all cars sound like 10L vette v8 thats unreliable, heavy, poorly build like all american cars and also such little power compared to ist displacement.
