They're a top class side
Manchester City beat them 2-1 in the qf, but to be fair even that was after Barca had won the first leg 3-0... They are amazing compared to most other teams in women's football, and they've even got many players in the starting 11 from their own academy, so it's not like they're just staling talent... I'm a Bayern fan myself, but when it comes to the women's game Barca is doing a great job! Much respect to them and congrats for tonight!

Barca seemed to be skilful enough to try to play the game as it should be played , Chelsea had nowhere near the level when it comes to skill , it was kick and rush , a bit like a primary school’s performance and they were lucky that Barca eased off in the 2nd half otherwise it could have been even more embarrassing
Yet they were smashed 4-1 by Lyon only a couple of years ago, Barca have improved since then, so can Chelsea

That own goal was extremely unlucky though. And then at minute 2 they had an incredible chance to draw. Then the penalty. Barcelona play amazingly well, but they also had some luck on their side. Specially those starting minutes.

I implore anyone who believes women are just as skillful as men at football watch this match. And bear in mind whilst watching, this is the champions league final which should nominally be the pinnacle of talent and skill in the world.

She overhyped her team, she was overconfident before match. Didn’t prepare her team tactically the back 4 against a team with strong wingers and midfielders. After adapting to back 3 the team was able to hold the ball and defended better.
I have noticed that our midfield is the driving force and pivot in how our game goes for us. Cudos to Barcelona for studying us like a test because they completely nullify our midfield. Ji, Leupolz, and Ingle had were not at their best, and because of that our forwards were completely out of the game. I agree that the first goal may have thrown us and mentally I think we crumbled. In addition, our fullbacks were outdone by Martens and Alexia (I think that's her name).

Barca has the money to make a women's team out of the best players in the world. I'm guessing the other clubs don't have that much to spend on women's teams. If European clubs really want to test their quality they need to play the women's clubs in America.

Not being funny but watching that match was like Chelsea played against a men’s team... that’s how levels apart they were, the Barca players didn’t even break a sweat, she didn’t and won’t admit it but that Barcelona team are on a level that she probably won’t reach coaching wise
Typical of an English coach, never take responsibility for lack of preparation, lack of flair and sophistication in front of goal, lack of ideas... a hundred other things. The fact is that Chelsea is not in the same category as Barça, plain and simple. I'm not even a Barcelona fan, but I do appreciate good football. The fact that this coach doesn't recognize that Martens shredded her defense 20 seconds into the game and took a shot that smashed the post, and that there were 5 Barcelona players in the box, any one of which could have finished the play and the result would have been the same, 0-1 in the first minute. Instead she comes up with a lame excuse about an own goal... which is not even a valid excuse, due to the fact that her entire defense was humiliated before her players even touched the ball!
