Emma, you and your team did the fans proud. You have a few keys players injured, but the team went out in a very a difficult stadium and really did their very best. Chelsea are still in a fight for trophies and I know you or won't give up. Keep going, we know can do it. You have got a great squad and it will be even better when the players recover.

This is the first I have seen Emma like this after a loss. As she said, we respected them too much and I know we are capable. Hanson's early goal took us by surprise I think. We took some time to get going at home and after that, they struggled to score against us. I am proud, you women give us Chelsea fans something to be proud of. Your heart, your fight even when we go down is everything. I wish that this squad can stay till next season to finally lift a UCL trophy before moving on. They deserve it.

They didn’t struggle cos at stamford bridge they outplayed Chelsea totally statistically to the point that Chelsea was even defending. At camp nou too statistically they outplayed Chelsea so I don’t know know what you guys are talking about. Barca had most shots , most dangerous attacks, more corner kicks, had the possession. Everything favored Barca today what helped you guys yesterday was due to the fact that you guys defended well and some of barca dangerous players like claudia pina , Geyse and Salma didn’t start cos barca coach just wanted to qualify but not to score more goals but you wouldn’t be lucky next time
@@amankwaavincent2342 Barcelona had more shots but Chelsea had more on target. Possession was almost equal. As a coach, I think she is blaming herself a bit here in getting the tactics not fully right and trying to be more counter-attacking. Barcelona had players who didn't start but Chelsea had both first choice centre backs out through injury plus their best playmaker, Kirby. Harder has only just returned from a serious injury so only came on late in the game. Disappointed but the team is definitely getting stronger .
@@chelseacharger Chelsea played as well as they could but u guys are giving them way too much credit the goal they scored ricochet and luckily found riten after Sam Kerr missed. Chelsea was never that deadly Barca kept opening up that defense and unfortunately oshoala was the one on the end a lot of the chances every one knows she’s not clinical to say the least and besides I genuinely think the centre back I had was better because no offence but Buchanan and Millie bright would’ve got caught out a couple of times I think Erickson and Jess where the perfect CB pair to face that Barca team. Don’t kid urselves this tie would’ve been over in the first leg if Barca weren’t so prone to missing chances like the one where geyse completely misses the ball on the line and torrejon hitting the post leaving Berger no chance compared to the offside goal and pretty nothin chances that Chelsea created
The women's team have more fight in them than the men's team... It just didn't happen for us today... This kind of defeat I can take in as a Chelsea fan... But what the men's team have been doing all season is freaking unacceptable... They men's team should hang their heads in shame...

Yes, they and their supporters should be proud of their effort and achievement.
But, after getting run over by Lyon in their first WCL Final, Alexia and her team met with their coach on the plane home and discussed what needed to be done not to get overrun like that again.
They could have gone before the media feeling sorry for themselves and claiming the 'better' team lost (despite objective statistics and the evidence of everyone's eyes).
Now Barca will be appearing in their 4th final in the last five years.

A fighting performance under incredible pressure and opposition. A performance to be very proud of. Still unbeaten away in CL! Erin is a real fighter, not always getting the credit she deserves, a true mid-field powerhouse. Emma will rally as will the team; two trophies to pick up and every reason to believe they will. CL next year for sure! Well done you Chels, fantastic performance.

A lot of pat on the back and good effort comments. It was an anemic effort. They looked slow, lacking skill etc. They can do better than that. Having said all that, a good effort to get this far. Looking forward to next year,
Their midfield vs our midfield was a bad matchup especially the second half at the Bridge and in the 2nd half of the 1st half in Camp Nou barring Cuthbert and Fleming who were immense.
Its like the Conti Cup final vs Arsenal even the league games the midfield for us cost us dearly.
Leupolz and Ingle the latter did not come on today vs Barça are both liabilities in these type of games.
Chelsea vs Bayern and United even City we can cover up the midfield.The games against Arsenal and Barca we need a plan B or more technically sound players.
The Matildas just won against the euro champions ,by high press and attacking football ,Hayes, played to defensive and payed the price .

Chelsea had great players that could of taken the match to Barca but they were told to hold back, what is the point of turning up if your not going to give it your best shot. Shows either a lack of ambition or match fixing, again. Imagine being a player at the peak of your sport & not being allowed to perform to the best of your ability.
