I already have Griot's wax and detailer plus Meguairs Ultimate product I used the Meguairs Ultimate on my truck but it still didn't shine a lot but I buffed it by hand mostly. I do have a polisher but it is more of a orbital palm polisher I don't have the one you have in the video but thinking about getting one soon in the store. Maybe this week I could get one.

Switched from M85 to M100. (I work on boats) M100 has been cutting really well on heavy oxidation with a rotary with wool and finishing really nice on a dual action with heavy polishing pad. I use this the exact way you did in this video and get great results. M100 is my money maker and work horse.

It's not very often that I agree with every statement someone says in a detailing video, but you nailed this one Jim. Having this comparison for reference is huge. Now I'm wondering - since Meguiar's is boasting M110's work time and finishing ability, how does it stack up against D300? I would assume similar characteristics but with less cut.

But I get the foam dust with new foam pads. Lately I've been running a brush Iver the new foam pads while running on machine to kind of break them in and get rid of the foam dusting. Seems to help.

For best results when leveling 1200-2000 grit sanding marks, wool or microfiber is going to give you the most cut, a foam cutting pad will work also, but it might simply take longer or require a second pass, the good thing is that foam usually finishes better than wool or microfiber.
