This is video number # 515 in the series that is all about bad drivers.Here you can learn how to /how not to drive and behave in traffic. original commentary and/or storyline at the beginning or at the end of the clips throughout the compilation.Please, read each clip text commentary on the video screen. We tried to give you additional information about so you can better understand what did driver do wrong.
Here you can learn about consequences of bad driving/driving fails so you can educate yourself and be a better driver.
I edit the raw footage (I need a couple of days for every video I make),I add the location of the incident, I add arrows that follow cars to make the situation easier to be seen. I zoom in and out so everyone can see the action and many other things.

@@mattdorfman7518 Don’t know the speed limit there but looks like blue car was speeding & as you said should not have gone into the oncoming traffic lane (but the silver car causing it hesitated in that lane before pulling out further into traffic lanes) but should’ve took the inside lane or shoulder…that said they aren’t professional drivers as I am and the posters friend was the entire cause 👌.
If that was me driving a big rig instead of the blue car I’d have gone to the inside lane / shoulder & pray they are NOT dead meat 🙈.
Absolutely insane to suggest fault of any kind to the blue car as impact wasn't even two seconds after the gray car halted his entering the lane of traffic then proceeded forward to again block blue car's lane of travel. The gray car showed intent to not proceed and the blue car recognized it and attempted to steer around then gray car moved forward again. The OP is totally correct. Do NOT blame the blue car in any way.

It's almost always more profitable for insurance companies to total your car. They give you pennies for then they can sell your crashed car knowing you'll need to pay thousands more to get another car so they raise your insurance bc new car is more valuable.
The wrecked cars are sold at auction, "Repaired" and then sold with a Salvage Title.

3:33 Turn signals placed down on the bumper are one of the worst examples of form over function I’ve seen in the last few years. Last year I read an article where the author reached out to automakers about it and learned it’s not even mainly to meet regulatory rules about turn signal placement; it’s mostly just for aesthetics. 🤦♀
The various regulatory bodies are insufficiently strict on lighting in general - style and convenience (brake lights as turn signals...) have long taken precedence over functionality, and it's not getting better.
@@Monkeh616 Yeah, car design in general has had usability issues for decades-hell, probably since the day cars were first sold. It’s definitely getting worse. I also dislike brake lights as turn signals, but at least they’re usually placed where the average driver would look for them (in the general area of brake lights) and can quickly see them. The newer auto design trend is keeping brake lights as slim as possible-because who needs to actually *see* them anyway 🙄-which means moving indicators down to the bumper. Not only is this bad functional design, it doesn’t improve the “pretty” factor of most vehicles in my opinion. But I’m just a cranky gen Xer who doesn’t get paid to make these design decisions so hey, what do I know.

It's crazy to me how we were taught look both ways before crossing the street when walking as and yet people don't apply it to driving.
