Legally, you are not allowed to even enter the intersection until it's clear to completely turn. However, you were already in the intersection when the light turned yellow and the guy wasn't, AND was speeding. Still, you would probably get the ticket but the fault would probably be shared.

I swear somehow drunk drivers always kill innocent People for them just to get out with “minor injuries” a stupid drunk driver killed my friends recently and it’s been so hard he ran from the scene and they couldn’t find him. They also only want to give him about 10 years for killing 2 people, driving under the influence and running from the scene. You want to know what the worse part is , the worse is that when they found him the next day he was sitting in his living room watching tv like he didn’t just kill 2 people leaving 2 completely heart broken family’s and friends. epsylonmetal: Not really, only thing you should have done is preventive maintenance on your car. 10mph more than the speed limit going down the hill is nothing, but if your car starts making weird noises as you go faster then definitely hear that warning and slow down, driver slower and dont do anything to overly stress your car. i'm quite sure your tire was on the way out, next time invest in 4 good (not cheap) tires and this won't happen. There's an old saying "A car is only as good as the tires it's riding on"

The hit and run at around 3 mins? One of my biggest bugbears with the American system is that you have so many driveways, and so few people using them! I live in the UK, and I would LOVE my own driveway, but not feasible. Why park on narrow roads when you know what can happen to one of your most valuable possessions? If you have a driveway, use it!
