4:55. Body shop employees before wreck: We're kinda slow today. After the wreck: Hell yeah boys we got some business coming in 😅
That part gave me a chuckle, I do hope everyone’s alright though! ✌️
5:38 The problem is not "oversteering." The problem is ruehk mashed the gas pedal too hard while turning, and not understanding how to turn into a slide. Even deeper than what I just said, ruehk needs to understand how to drive altogether. If ruehk would have barely accelerated, while turning, this would not have even occurred.👍
Exactly this. Drivers don't over or understeer -- vehicles do. Judicious throttle application would lessen/eliminate this. And my tires rub the road every time I drive. And I don't crash.
I'm more curious for him to explain exactly what he meant by "the wheels rubbed the road'
@@95mushroom He is curious too. That statement he made confuses him just as much as it confused us.😂
@@95mushroom Maybe that's how he defines "skidding." Initially, I thought he simply meant his tires were in contact with the roadway. Who the heck knows?
@@edgeofentropy3492 Basically [in plain English] what ruehk is stating is "I'm a millennial and therefore it's not my fault - here are the reasons why and you can't tell me I'm wrong because I'll be offended"

5:47 "Oversteer?" More like hit the throttle a little too hard.

First thing I thought of!
The last clip - 7:30. Her name is Alka, is that short for Alkaholic?
Probably protesting over the amount of popodums she has to fry for dinner that night.
🤣🤣🤣👍
I’d hope that’d be her “rock bottom” but I highly doubt it… but, one could hope. 🤞😔
She still had the ability to try to hide it, though!
She caused the officers to grag her out because she was too busy clenching the bottle between her legs to get out of a burning car
For some drivers, being Oblivious is a lifetime process.
It is jawing how some people made it old enough to drive without dying to something that is very avoidable like a sigh saying there is a wet puddle that have a high voltage electric wire right on it on the ground. There will always be the one
idiot who try to cross it without even looking around their surroundings and either someone is on-sigh to stop that said person or it's fried human for dinner. Human stupidity knows no bounds.
3:06 This curb's nickname: I am the *Distracted Drivers' Destroyer!*
Put's a whole new meaing to "curb your enthusiasm"!
6:27 I sure hope there was a charge along the lines of concealing evidence that could be added to the other charges in this incident. She knew EXACTLY what she was trying to hide!
1:46 Perfect example of why pedestrian accidents and fatalities are going through the roof.
And I guarantee that douchebag learned nothing from being so close to being seriously injured.
Darwinism at it's finest
Mmhmm, and I'm sure it has nothing to do with distracted drivers running red lights or anything either.
actually its due to vehicles getting bigger and bigger, which means that the average speed of a fatal pedestrian crash is going down. Two ways to increase kinetic energy in a crash: Speed and Weight. Cars are weighing more, which means that even lower speeds are becoming fatal. Combined with more and more people driving SUVs and trucks and not knowing or not caring about how to drive them properly.
Also the designs of the vehicles themselves are becoming blockier, which means harsher angles. This causes a pedestrians body to "snap" at harsher angles, increasing injury and death.
@punky100 did you actually watch the clip or was it more important to pass monkey pox to your abused dog? Get help sickness spreader

Ruehk, it wasn't oversteer, it was over-acceleration. And under thinking. Maybe you should get something with a power level you can handle. A Big Wheel maybe.
Give Ruehk a half-point for admitting they effed up even if they don't know the difference between "oversteering" and just plain romping on the accelerator... 😎
@@LDuncanKelly But then they lose like 5 points for whatever he thinks he means by "the wheels rubbed the road."

3:08 what’s the purpose of that curb? Some sort of speed reducer??
Also for filtering out the blind motorists.
Guaranteed employment for mechanics.
It is a traffic calming measure to slow everyone down. Seen one of them installed near a relatives house in South Carolina.
It's called a " bulb out" here in Ottawa,Ontario...but ours are much smaller ....and hidden under snowbanks - surprise, surprise - during the winter!!
Dumbest invention ever. We have them jutting out into roadway to ‘ make it safer’ for pedestrians to cross. Graders in winter hit them all the time, cars in summer run over the signs. Smh
5:47 You oversteered and the wheels rubbed on the road? What does that even mean? I think you were just driving like a dummy.
Last one: I hope she has to pay for the property damage.
Yeah pay the city, it's their part of the property.
5:43 That's not oversteer, that's too much throttle and a lack of ability and or knowledge on how to control the horsepower that you have in your possession.
3:05-3:45 I love traffic calming devices 😌
Lol
@ 4:40 - that auto body shop should hand out fleyers to vehicles wrecked in front of their shop with, "the favorite shop for damaged cars from intersection XYZ since 19##." printed on it.

we need more roads like that. makes a nice lesson for inattentive drivers.
What is happening there?
Great place to set up an auto repair shop. 😂😂😂
@@condorboss3339 traffic calming measure teaching inattentive drivers a lesson
Seems more like a road obstruction. If it were private property I imagine there would be a lot of lawsuits. Hell there might already be.
@@condorboss3339 It is curb extension bump outs. The road curves one way and then the other before centering again. It's totally safe to drive through at the posted speed limit without any need for braking. The intended purpose is to keep drivers limited to the posted speed limit and aware of other road users by otherwise making them mash their brakes or hit the curb (instead of a person). Best for around schools or wherever there is high pedestrian traffic intersecting a vehicle path.
1:24 "Landscape emergency, coming through! Out of the way people, I got a mower here!"

#1 Why does a "Good Samaritan" Stop IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD?
I think that it is this: If you want to work as a driver for Amazon, you must show that you are both visually impaired and have racked up at least ten demerit points in the previous 24 months. A distracted/impaired driving charge will fast track you to supervisor. IMHO.
1:13 - "Whatever the hell this is"? I know _exactly_ what this is. It is quite easy to have never used an emergency turn-around before, and misjudge just how much you actually have to slow down; after all, you have to go from driving in the _fast lane_ to going slow enough to make a 90-degree turn, and those turn-arounds are _small._ How do I know? I've made this exact misjudgment myself, and paid for it similarly.
3:40 - Why is that even _there?_ It doesn't look like it needs to be.
Installed as a traffic calming measure, very common in Europe. Also forces drivers to pay more attention to the road ahead. If you hit it, it's more or less an admission of not paying attention.
Since that cross-over isn't marked with side / turn lanes or an interruption in the solid yellow lines, I suspect it is there for official use only, and that clown shouldn't have been trying to utilize it for any reason.
@JasonWardStudios Exactly. It's an illegal U-turn, only legal for authorized personnel.
This is a crossover between weigh stations, for employee use only. I-40 Mile 9, just west of Alma, Arkansas.
It is interesting what you learn when you post comments on CZcams, so let me address some replies I got.
* For the first video I posted about: The weigh station on the left did not catch my eye on first viewing. And yes, I realize that even if it were actually a typical emergency turn-around, your average citizen isn't _supposed_ to use it, but they do.
* For the second: Europe is full of surprises. Maybe we need structures like this in the US - maybe more people would get off their cell phones and start paying attention to the road.
I applaud the Johns Creek Police Department for their professionalism in prioritizing the safety of the suspect. That fire could’ve gotten bad if they didn’t extinguish it. Also, seeing that bottle of booze between her legs made me laugh something fierce

"don't over steer" dude, you over accelerated.... We all know it.
6:21 Yep, VPD doesn't give a flying fuck unless they witness it. Driving home that same way this past Friday I saw a 4Runner doing around 100 weaving in and out of lanes during rush hour traffic. People are impatient as hell.

Yes i think it's a bigger problem than just handling the traffic, people are stressed out and fighting mental illness and if just one little thing get's in their way all hell break loose.

@0:30 that cammer is a prime example of a good driver.... I do the same shit on the highway when it's stop and go.... 3:07 What in the blue peeping hell IS that thing? I've driven on all kinds of roads in 45 states and I've NEVER seen any kind of road barrier like that.
It's called a chicane, and it's not a barrier, it's a traffic calming measure. They're placed to make it uncomfortable to exceed the speed limit (rather than bothering to actually design the road to limit speed to begin with).
00:05 Distracted (smartphone use) is worse in my opinion than drunken driving!! Too bad the laws on books do not treat "distracted" driving seriously.

3:06 Just what we need, Braille driver aids.
3:10 Why is that thing there?
Is it like a choke to make it a one lane only so cars have to take turns coming and going?
There is a lane in each direction. It's meant to limit drivers to the posted speed limit by introducing slight curves before centering true. If you're going too fast, you mash your brakes. If you're not paying attention you eat some tires or otherwise beat up your own car. It's their own fault and a small price for the distracted driver instead of someone else's health and wellbeing.
gotta get home to mow that lawn!
4:16 Those RAM ProMaster (and MB Sprinter, and Ford Transit) cargo vans have limited vision beyond 90º out the right side window. The Amazon driver is pulling out of a loop driveway that meets Lebanon Road at an acute angle on exit. The driver had to turn sharply to the right within the driveway to square up enough with Lebanon Road so the driver could see around the curve to the right. There appears to be a sufficient gap between the Mitsubishi and the next vehicle to cross between them.
After the Mitsubishi goes past, there is no visible traffic around the curve to the right. The van driver starts to cross Lebanon Road to follow Oak Tree Road (near Manheim, PA), and that requires angling slightly to the left, further limiting vision to the right.
The van is partially across Lebanon Road when the cammer comes around the curve. Due to the angle the van is crossing Lebanon Road, the cammer can see the van before the van driver can see the cammer. The cammer can first see the van from about 330 feet away, which is five seconds at the posted 45 mph speed limit.
The van driver is trying to be cautious, but at this point finds himself between traffic coming from both directions when the cammer becomes visible to the van driver for the first time. The van driver elects to continue across Lebanon Road instead of stopping for the cammer and blocking the lane of traffic coming from the left.
It would be no safer for the van to turn right and loop back because the acute angle of the driveway is so sharp, the van would go fully left of center, head on into oncoming traffic, while making such a sharp acute right turn.
This is a good example of a situation where angles are just right where cross traffic can clearly see the van, but the van driver cannot see traffic coming from the right. It is easy to assume that sight goes both ways, but that’s not always the case. There are lots of Amazon vans with new drivers that have very little experience in that type of vehicle. Don’t assume they can always see you.
