Great episode RR&BD. Keep it 🆙
thanks for the clips, especially the last one, cheers !
Hank if it wasn't for the aggravated robbery teens at the end you'd have won the Biggest Idiot in the Video Award. You tucking into the turn lane and deciding "eh, I'll swerve back into traffic like there's no one behind me" shows a clear lack of sense. Granted their reckless driving in response isn't excused but you definitely earned that middle finger as well as some choice words. Even if you weren't at fault you had several opportunities to let it go but chose to run a red and continue the situation skirting back in front of him. You are the kind of person that starts something and then when you get hurt or if you were to die would expect the other person to take all the blame. Like walking into a bear den in the middle of winter and kicking the bear in the nuts and expecting it not to kill you.
thank god i wasnt the only one who thought this
Yeah, Hank. You suck as much as the other driver, if not more.
Don't forget, he also ran the red light, just to to it all off
Hank, 3:40 , you need to learn to drive
Agreed
Thank you! Not just because I definitely agree with you but because finally someone knows how to use a timestamp!
3:50 Hank, you looked as though you were turning left then nipped back in front of the idiot. After he brake checked you, you followed him through an amber turning red light. Anyone sensible would have taken the opportunity to stop and lose him.
This video was in another compilation and I commented the something similar.
Got masculinity challenged.
Then he says "idfc dude!" even though he just damn near ran a red light to chase someone he cut off first? Yeah because that's what people who don't care do lol..
@@deadon4847what? He can’t hear you…
He kind of sucks
Cammer at 3:35 needs to take another driving course cause he obviously didn't learn anything lol
Hank obstrcts traffic, runs a red light and breaks other traffic laws. Why would you post that? Think your going to get sympathy?
He didn’t block traffic or run the red light the light was yellow when he went though it and went red as he was in the intersection. Just law…
Last clip featured the toughest Hyundai I've ever seen. Who knew the current generation Elantra could take such a beating and still keep going? The only thing that really stopped it was the tree.
that kid can drive!
Stability control working as designed, not driver skill.
Hank you caused the problem.
0:39 JFC, that pickup didn't even slow down before the impact. Hope the kid is ok.
Yeah, that driver probably needs to be brought up on charges. Straight open road, clear weather, big yellow bus with flashing lights. What was he/she doing?
@@Woodcademy probably looking at their phone
@@peace4myheart txting i bet
@@Woodcademydefinitely needs charged and they were definitely on their phone.
News articles state that after a few days the 12 year old was released and is recovering at home.
1:30 Unlike SO MANY drivers that end up in these compilations, this one was paying attention, reacted properly, and stopped short of a collision.
Hank is getting hammered, deservedly.
The second video - well that was handy. Talk about a convenient cop.
Last guy took out the whole damn department with that little car.
While publicly horrified, Hyundai's engineers were secretly proud.
I gotta get me an Elantra, lol
@@Michaelthekiwi Would make a nice advertisement-"Our engines may blow up and start fires, but you beat the hell out of the rest of the car and it just keeps on going."
@@greggc8088 You missed 'anyone can take our cars at any time' too.
@@Beeks81 was literally thinking the same, who needs a better advertisement than this?
Ohio cops need to go to Arkansas for PIT training.
5:04 nothing was your fault in this video. Good moves. Looks like you avoided contact, and if not it was minimal contact due to your quick reactions. Keep up the good driving 😊
Lol, those cops probably feel pretty embarrassed on how long that hyundai chase lasted. That dude had them going forever!
good advertisement for hyundai though, that car took an absolute beating and was still going
All that damage over a crappy Hyundai.
All that damage over two teenage criminal car thieves!@@deadon4847
Pretty impressive driving skills from those teens, or the officers were just terrible drivers. ASP would have ended that quickly.
Some real 50 IQ level to PIT them into the other cop deploying spike strips.
That Hyundai had the PIT maneuver prevention package.
I’m not sure if I’m more impressed by the driver’s skill in that last video, or by the resilience of that little car.
Last clip, Then what are the two teens doing out loose on the street?! Lock them up and keep them locked up!!
Everyone's free until they're arrested.
Hear hear!!!
0:43 Driver who wasn't paying attention needs to go to prison to learn a lesson about distracted driving.
Yeah I don't like the "distracted" excuse, it's an aggravation for me, it's even more criminal than DUI somehow.
In fact most of "us" shouldn't have a license, if security was really a thing... They just allow all that because they need to sells cars... And thieves + ASP are their best friends (to car [re]sellers).
That car getting may have saved a kid's life. How tf could that guy not see a giant bus and a stopped car?
I also would like to see some of these drivers, like the car that got hit and then hit the kid, take a little heat. I've been in a sheet load of wrecks in my life and have never ever just accelerated wide open after being hit. Not even with broken bones and blood spewing. I just can't understand someone doing that unless they are just slow witted as all heel.
@@greggc8088 you're saying you want the driver who stopped for a school bus and then got hit from behind to receive punishment?
@@Roddy556 Some sore of punishment, yes. They accelerated into a kid. They weren't knocked into a kid. I suppose since it happens so often we'll soon be getting a kill switch of some sort that goes off in accidents. Or at least locking of the brakes through the ABS actuator. And again, the responsible wise decision making people will have to pay for it on vehicles we buy just like the "do not use orally" labels on preparation H.
Man good thing y'all recovered that stolen vehicle. They'll be happy to get it back.
Sunray @ 5:02 man that was a beautiful move. I for real thought you were trading paint with at least 1. Respect
@1:00- The irony of "Ram"
6:05 our tax dollars at work... Four different SUV's got damaged..? At least.
To quote Sheriff Buford T. Justice: "You idiots couldn't close an umbrella." 6:03
Classic!
0:54 whoever was driving needs prison time and to never be allowed to own a vehicle again.
That would be a pretty good commercial for Hyundai
It took a beating and kept going. I was impressed.
At around 1:35 that's definitely dangerous especially around a curve
@0:40 The news reported that the 12 year old girl was released from the hospital several days later and was recovering at home. Driver charged with failure to maintain distance.
That's one tough Elantra!!!
I've always thought hyundais were crappy little cars, but the last one proved me so wrong, it took so much beating and still kept going. :D
The Hyundai gave the police a run for their money.
You can drive it like you stole it if you actually did steal it.
I’m impressed. That Hyundai took a beating and just kept on going.
Imagine the repair bill?
5:00 Sunday, don’t kick yourself on that one- nice avoidance!
The last video is a good ad for how robust Hyundai elantra is.
And also that these police officers need to go back to training to learn how to do a proper pit maneuver!
@7:00 these officers need more training with PT maneuvers. Granted the elantra driver seems to have some skills, but Arkansas police do this better.
If it was ASP he'd be on his/her side or roof with no damage to other vehicles
Damaged _four_ patrol vehicles, and untold collateral property damage. Not a very cost effective tactic.
@mvpfocus I totally agree. He was pitted into a stationary vehicle at one point. I couldn't tell if it was a police car or not but surely a dumb place to put someone.
Last video really shows why more departments should get that Grappler we've seen a couple times. For all that the cops did manage to catch the thieves, the person whose car they stole is still carless.
Dang, I'm gonna have to get a Hyundai! Damn thing took a beating and kept on yeeting!
I almost test drove one but I could barely touch the pedal. ): I was all the way seated up too. I really liked it.
@@empressvogt I can't reach the pedals cuts I've got no legs...I use a walking cane! 😂
6:01 That’s as effective an ad for Hyundai as I’ve ever seen.
Next time i find myself struggling to remove a front fender, I will try the trick @ 2:15.
That Elantra took one hell of a beating and kept chugging along I am impressed
the problem with driving now days is, people don't pay attention, they are always in a rush, and they have a false sense of security, the car can't protect you, and a vehicle is a tool to be transportation, I will never understand how a car became a status symbol, I guess I'm just getting old
0:38 How many phones was bro using in order to screw up this badly?
1:46 what kind of a terrible truck driver is that. My father was an owner operator and coult tell if hid trailer had a flat while driving on the highway. How do you not know you're dragging a car? Even just checking your mirrors regularly should have clued him in.
There's a lot more isolation in modern cabs, both sound and vibration. But mirrors are much better than in the past, no longer fuzz from vibration.
Damn. Police departments need to start swapping out their MRAPs for Hyundais! That thing was unstoppable. 😂
I've never understood road rage. How can people get so angry behind the wheel?
I didn't realize Hyundai Elantra's were made out of military tank material. It literally took a liking, kept ticking, took 10 more linkings and kept ticking. The tree was the only thing that made them stop.
5:02 No, it wasn't your fault for not moving left. It was the moron who didn't check mirror before changing lane!
7:00 That Elantra destroyed three police cars and keeps going. Nothing can stop that Hyundai Elantra; it seems like it was made with military tank technology.
5:29 they changed how they make these guardrails to be less rigid so they crumple heavily when a car hits them. In the past, this car would have just been impaled and it would have almost certainly been fatal.
"1 Adam-12, the Chief wants those punks who stole that piece of crap pitted at any cost. He doesn't care how many residential areas you chase them through, or how many pedestrians you wipe out!"
"Roger, that!"
The friendly-fire during the spike strip attempt was the pièce de résistance.
Some law enforcement agencies are starting to use 'Grappling' type of devices to Capture vehicles instead of using the PIT maneuvers. Seen some videos of them in use, they work pretty good with less public damage.
@1a1u0g9t4s2u Sounds good to me. Another of my inventions stolen!
That Hyundai took a lickin' but kept on tickin'.
I gotta say, that Hyundai Elantra was one tough little car!
2:11 fender removal with surgical precision, he probably won't even need an alignment. 😂
@5:02 Good defensive driving Sunray!
After this chase, no one will be able to say that Hyundai's aren't tough! 4 police cars out of action...
Damaged, not out of action.
(@0:50) Well, I’ve heard of throwing people under the bus, but not ladders. 😆
That car must've been made by the watch company that "takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'" =)
2:12 "The red lights are on, we are live on air for the jousting tournament, aaand here come the first two participants..."
He’s lucky he still has his get you home tyre intact 😂
The teens have a history steeling cars and are on the street endangering everyone. They should be in jail, for a very long time. After being someone's bitches for a few years they might lose interest in stealing cars.
In jail?
That's racist
@@adsafgasgasdfasdf What Parish were you in?
No no that’s a waste of free labor. They should get to work on the county road crew until they pay off the police vehicles they damaged. And they’ll be to tired to think of stealing a car again after a sunup to sundown shift
@@matthewcaughey8898 _police vehicles they damaged_
this. If police damaged car on their own - this should be paid by officers. Because otherwise police will ruin vehicles in order to replace them.
During this chase one officer at 6:13 had a close call because of other officers, not thieves.
PIT should be trained in training ground, not in the city.
Who knew the local PD would cause more damage than the criminal before watching the chase?
1st video: I had the exact same thing happen to me. As I was driving by a schoolbus that was turning onto a side street (4-lane road), the bus suddenly swung wind and turned sharp. That kicked the rear out into my lane just as I was passing. Traffic coming from the other direction limited my move to the left and it shattered the mirror. Another 6-12 inches over and I would have had a serious offset, rear-ending accident. There's no way they didn't hear it. Kids looked, the bus braked for a moment and then they just left. Couldn't find them and all I could do was file a police report. Nothing ever resulted from it.
6:48 I can't believe the police car attempted this pit maneuver only to send the Hyundai into an ONCOMING car !!
5:45 That's Route 9 and 44/55 in Poughkeepsie NY. Those interchanges have always been dangerous. They're poorly designed (look at the overhead view on a map), plus too many drivers don't bother to look, don't know how to merge, or don't accelerate properly. They're working on a redesign for it finally.
In theory, it's a great road design. In practice, this look like an absolute nightmare.
I don't know why road designers think that making a left side exit is a good idea, it's not.
@@ghost_stars2307 Visually, from above, it's interesting. But as you said, left exits are not great by themselves, and to have it be a shared exit/entrance *and* be as short as it is makes it a recipe for chaos.
6:00 - And the winner of the 2024 Blues Brothers Excellence Award for Police Chases...
No body going to comment on the incredible Hyundai. That thing took a beating and kept going.
5:07 "Lets just stand here in the road with our backs to traffic. What could happen?"
After 75 pit maneuvers we finally got them!
5:40 Only failure here is the Cammer. There is no way for that semi to get up to speed from a circle merge with literally the merge distance almost as long as the semi itself. and merge over (heck that is a seriously short distance even for a normal car to make). Cammer needs to pay more attention.
Absolutely. It's called a merge, where everyone comes together.
7:21 mans was just trying to get to Los santos customs
Whitehall PD ain't playin!
Dude that Hyundai car is impressive af.
6:00 " Well sir,the good news is that we found your stolen car. The bad news is..."
7:03 Takes an unexpected Naked Gun opening credits turn.
I see a Hyundai Tough ad campaign soon.
That last driver of the stolen car. Instead of stealing sh!t, he should try driving race cars, of course I guess his attitude won't let him work for a living.
He (assuming gender here) could have a stunt driver career. I know kids roll their eyes whenever grownups say “if you’d just apply yourself and your skills,” but seriously, he’s got options far better than the path he’s currently on.
Excellent HYUNDAI car commercial!!!
Holy cow, that last video should have never happened. Those cops created a trail of carnage trying to stop (read destroy) a stolen car.
that hyundai chase wow how many cars did they damage trying to stop it lol
7:37. One of the many officers who tried to pit manouver, successfully did one.
3:30 - Stop sending dashcam video to the local PD. They don't want it, don't care about it, won't do anything with it.
5:45 A cycling gymnast posts a video of himself/herself driving a car.
hahaha. What a fail.
🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏
6:33. Woooo! Hehe. Way to hang on to it!
7:36, Hyundai seems a pretty tough car, to keep going long enough even to HIT the tree at the end...!
2:12 could pass as a magic trick. The disappearing fender.
That last one was hard to watch. Those officers need training.
BEST Hyundai Elantra addvert of all time...
Looks like that PD could use some Hyundai’s since that shit box kept pulling on all their cruisers. 😂
Don't these strange drivers have the ability to react quickly?
0:53: Jeez, you talk about a punch in the pants!
I hope both teens had their driver's license revoked PERMANENTLY!
That last clip shows what happens when you have a lightweight car and cops who can't get a good angle for a PIT. I would suggest a little more training, but it finally ended when they just went back to their roots.
Hank Dromont: next time is going to be worse.
2:11 - And now, the disappearing fender trick! 😃
that last police chase? 4 wrecked cruisers, some civilian cars damaged, all trying to run down an Elantra?
4:01 cammer ran a red light here
Also, if they had stopped at that red light, it is unlikely they would have had to have dealt further with the other driver. I seriously doubt they would have stopped and waited after making it through the light since they were obviously in a big hurrry.
One tough little car.
What I learned here is elantras are pretty tough.
Thete is one easy way to prevent hit and drive off collisions. It would also ensure that every PITT maneuver stops the car. Make it mandatory for all fuel injected cars to be fitted with an inertia switch. The technology works, because Ford fitted such switches to every fuel injected car and truck they build in the 80s and into the 90s. Simple to reset, but you must go in the trunk to do so. It would also cut off the fuel pressure in collusions in which the fuel system is compromised. The impact of a PITT maneuver would tutm off the fuel pump. Try driving off
6:52 Sending the fugitive car into a fellow officer on foot with a pit maneuver... not very clever!
That last clip is why certain people have certain views on law enforcement. Those cops probably had alot more than choice words to throw at those young idiots. You can take a guess.
There's Ford tough and then there's Hyundai tough. Holy shit!
0:20 - That's what insurance is for. Contact them and have them open up a claim on your behalf against the bus company. Police aren't going to do anything.
