This is video number # 1141 the series that is all about bad drivers.Here you can learn how to /how not to drive and behave in traffic. original commentary and/or storyline at the beginning or at the end of the clips throughout the compilation.Please, read each clip text commentary on the video screen. We tried to give you additional information about so you can better understand what did driver do wrong.
Here you can learn about consequences of bad driving/driving fails so you can educate yourself and be a better driver.
I edit the raw footage (I need a couple of days for every video I make),I add the location of the incident, I add arrows that follow cars to make the situation easier to be seen. I zoom in and out so everyone can see the action and many other things.

5:49- You are both at fault. Just because you saw a pause and assumed something, doesn't make it so. You should have stopped to make sure.
i think they reviewed the dash cam footage then claimed they seen them pause. They didn't pause, they slowed down a little and kept backing up.
Easily could have been avoided if there were two functional adults driving.

I'm driving a vehicle old enough not to have cameras in it and I've never backed into another. It's amazing what looking before you move can do.

That cop got close enough to easily get the bike's tag, so a felony eluding got to be stacked on top of whatever minor charge they were going to probably just get a ticket and sent on their way for. But congrats little 2 wheeler for putting yourself and everyone else on that highway at risk... 🙄

As a UK citizen I don't understand why people have to stop for school buses. Seems a bit nanny state to me. If kids can't learn to watch for traffic after alighting so what.

No. Despite all of the "safety monitors", you still need to turn your head and get visuals on your surroundings. You also have to have the intellect to imagine all of the stupid things people might be doing out of your current line of sight and be prepared to deal with them.
If you cannot visually identify threats behind you while backing, then you need to park your vehicle in a forward "pull through" space that will allow you to deal with threats coming at you from the 9o'lock to 30'clock positions.

If everyone would simply maintain separation at all times, the annual cost of insurance would be about the same as the cost of one meal at Wendy's.
It's another example of a person being to reliant on technology (in this case, a shitla) to do the thinking for them. I drive a car that also has quite a few safety measures on it, despite those features I still look into my blind spot (the car has a blind spot sensor) and still looking behind me (it has a reverse cam), for me those safety features are in addition to what I already do just in case I miss something, but I won't rely on them since technology fails. Which is why I will get a shitla, don't care for the self driving garbage.

My gut is sometimes wrong, but my gut tells me that that was a women driver, and she felt as if she were in an "unsafe neighborhood." (Translation: many low-income men around.) Better for her to keep going rather than get draped if she stopped.

Wayne Coots, The video shows the other driver not looking to check her surroundings. She would have been turned to her right to check her right rear. If you had been looking to your right, you would have seen her, so, who also wasn't looking around to check their surroundings? (the answer is you, dude)
That's one of those sad accidents. Both drivers reversing at same time, nobody's fault. Stuff happens. It's sad, and I got it 50/50.
It's angled parking. She should be checking her right rear. He should be checking his left rear. This is just 50/50, a case of both parties not focusing on their entire surrounding.
I agree completely. The point I was trying to make was that Wayne seemed to be trying to place most, if not all, of the blame on the other party.
As soon as you saw the word 'assumed' in the explanation, you just knew he's trying to pretend they're more at fault.

You AND the other driver both failed to actually turn your heads while backing up, there's no need to come up with excuses. The government has the power to regulate those rights in pursuit of public safety for example. However, the government cannot arbitrarily remove a person's right without Due Process. Claiming that driving is a privilege shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the founding principles of the US government. This isn't Europe where they believe that all rights are granted by the government.
Another way to frame this: In the US everything is allowed unless prohibited; In Europe everything is prohibited unless allowed.
The concept of Natural Rights is what makes the US government unique in the world. Our rights are not granted by the government.

Yeah, the other car started coming over when the motorcycle was in his blind spot. Before that, he was out of view due to being next to a truck and then sped up. The car driver would still be at-fault, but motorcycle guy needs to start learning to ride defensive and think about when other drivers are likely to not see him. When you're in someone's blind spot, prepare for anything, and if they are on the move with lane changes (or likely to be due to traffic ahead), don't be there at all.
Bikes are much more visible in the left side mirror than they are in the right side mirror.
Biker only got away for so long. Once the cop had his plate he was going to find them waiting at home for him

2:22 that Jeep did so many things wrong in this clip that I don't even know where to begin. First, they don't move back to the right after passing the semi-truck. Second, they weren't paying attention to what was behind them and forced the emergency vehicle to go around them on the right. Third, after the emergency vehicle has already passed them, they slam on their brakes, and it almost causes an accident. And last, but most certainly not least, after slowing down to 30mph they switch lanes directly into the path of the semi-truck that they passed earlier and almost get flattened. This person must have a death wish. I would recommend some remedial driving classes because, DAMN.

Yea, the US and Canada are the only nations on the planet that has this idiotic school bus system/laws. This bus stop is especially egregious, of course people should stop as is the law, but they are putting bus stops at worse and worse locations.
You have to remember that kids these days have been dumbed down and kept from maturing, so they need all kinds of extra protection.

7:00 I wouldn't call that a hit and run, pedestrian gets up and points out the crosswalk then walks away. If I was the car I'd feel like an idiot but wouldn't stop after that. If I hit a car and was my fault and the other driver said something like "didn't you see me dumbass" and drove off, I would too.

@@95mushroom It’s not a bus stop like you would have with a city bus system. Not every kid gets dropped off on a quiet, tree-lined street. Some kids have to be dropped off at a parent’s office after school.
@@trey8872 My point is that there's more than likely a side road/shopping center somewhere close up/down the road that would be better/safer and get the bus off the stroad. Virtually zero thought seems to be put into the majority of bus stops I see in person in my area (school stop on a 55mph county road just after a hill), or thru these dashcam clips....
There is no way the school board would approve a single student bus stop at a parent's place of work. Or at least I'd hope they wouldn't....
On a 2 lane road, sure. This road has 4 lanes in one direction and I don't know how many in the opposite. There are zero kids crossing this road. Even if there were, all the cars that went by were in the far lane. A kid isn't going to materialize 4 lanes over out of nowhere. People tend to not follow laws in situations where they are being forced to do something that makes no sense. And if the police were actually concerned about a kid being hit they wouldn't be hiding on the other side waiting for it to have already happened.

Here's a novel idea for American's, teach YOUR children road safety so drivers can safely drive past a bus dropping off or picking up children.
I try not to be an ugly American but jeez laweeze. Most of us here think that it's better that some drivers be inconvenienced than to declare that a six-year-old that failed to exhibit adult caution and maturity was at fault so better luck next life, kid.

I'll never understand why three or four lanes of traffic have to stop for a school bus letting off kids onto the sidewalk.
Even if they are trying to cross the road, the other side of traffic doesn't stop... so...? Like what is this even accomplishing? Just generating revenue and giving single moms something to do after school I guess..

For real, this is a divided highway with no apparent crosswalk nearby. Normally I cannot stand school-bus runners, but this seems a bit suspicious. Do it on an undivided road in a residential area and I would cheer the cops on all day.
I also doubt this was actually a school bus stop and they just borrowed a bus to do a sting operation.

They did that here too in Escambia. They seized a Corvette ZO6, the guy wasn't even tried or convicted yet, and they had already converted the Corvette to a display vehicle they used at shows and stuff.
